However, Mesehradabet did not sacrifice his own eye and spend three thousand years as a corpse just so he could return to the world of the living to discuss history. As was promised to him, he met his destined love upon his reawakening, and the last thing he desires is to sit around and chat. This story is a bit different to other books that I’ve read. The author does a fantastic job of describing Meseh and combining Egyptian with current day life. I really enjoyed this story, the characters a re likable and the dialogue is funny at times. There are a few steamy scenes set in present day and when Meseh was Pharaoh. It’s a quick enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this story especially since I’ve never read anything quite like it. The writing was a bit stiff at times and I would have liked more details at some spots. The ending was sweet and left me with a great big smile. Enjoy!
***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***
Ancient mate awakening
—>>> One way to answer ancient questions is to go directly to the source itself for the details. So when Sarah finds the object of her fascination, Pharaoh Mesehradabet, actually alive in his sarcophagus at the museum exhibit, he makes it clear that he has waited thirty lifetimes to achieve his most desired goal, finding a mate who would love him for himself. But now that he is alive, how will he be able to stay in this new century? A short story with a fresh and creative approach!
This is the first book by this Author that I have read a well written short story. I will be looking for more books by her. This is part of the The Erotic Bestiary Series. Pharaoh Mesehradabet was cursed and his mummy ends up at Sandersonia University in England where he can see Sarah Khateb, a promising young Egyptology major through his glass enclosure. The story has time travel, a curse, drama, twists, turns, and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Sarah is a university student, and is majoring Egyptology. Sarah sat down next to the Exhibits mummy named Meseh, Sarah left and went home only to return a few hours later, the security went with sarah, while she picked up her phone she told him about Meseh and that is when things happened.
Thank you for allowing me to review this book it was great.

This was a well written, creepy, steamy story. It contained an element of time travel too. The plot was creative, the characters were interesting, and it’s nice to know that even mummies get their HEA if they wait long enough. Despite the horror aspects, it was actually more sweet than scary. There were some inconsistencies and unanswered questions, though, but since this was listed as erotica instead of a horror story, I’m going to ignore them and celebrate the lack of cheesiness instead.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
