Loved it!! Jarrod and Lexi are super combustible with the chemistry they are putting off. I love how the mayoral election puts them against each other but in the end helps show them what’s the most important thing.
Two lawyers on opposing sides find common ground in a small town
Jarrod and Lexi are two individuals who are both the same and different. They are both fierce, opinionated, passionate, confident people who just happen to disagree on a lot.
Jarrod is the type of lawyer that typically works for the big corporation. He is always on the side that wins, his track record reflects this. However the more time that Lexi spends with Jarrod the more she sees the other side of him.
Lexi likes working for the underdogs. She usually is on the team going up against the big corporations. Because of this, she lumps Jarrod in with all the other lawyers she know and thinks he is only looking at the dollar signs and not the big picture.
Both enter into the race to be mayor as you might have guessed with different views. I don’t want to give anything away but I really like how this book plays out and the message that it sends. You have to go read it to see what I mean.
The banter and sexy times were amazing. Reading about these two circling each other and trying to outwit the other all the while wanting each other was fun to read.
This book is beautifully written, with Lexi Greece & Jarrod O’Neill as the main characters of this story & with all the other characters from the other books thrown in.
The story is set in Prairie. Thank you Tessa Payne for drawing me, so I feel like I’m there!
