Crowns & CourtshipsBook 1: Royals of San MajoriaCanadian Jordan Haines is on vacation in the Caribbean. After the summer he’s had, a couple months of fun in the sun is just what the doctor ordered. What he didn’t count on was meeting a beautiful woman on a private beach – or falling hard.Crown Princess Astrid of San Majoria seems to lead a charmed life. Just like everyone, there’s tragedy in … everyone, there’s tragedy in her past, but she lives in a palace, has aides to do everything – and paparazzi hounding her private moments. Her sanctuary on her family’s beach is broken one day when a tired windsurfer takes refuge in her cove – and works his way into her heart.
But it’s just a summer fling, isn’t it?
After all, Jordan will be returning to Canada before long, won’t he?
When pictures of the two of them, and what looks like an engagement ring, appear in the tabloids, they have to deal with fallout – and the beginnings of a real relationship. Secrets kept become hearts broken as they try to discover if Jordan really has the heart of a prince.

I enjoyed this story. It was a little hard to follow the different countries they told about (fictitious) but the plot was well written and it was an enjoyable read.
These books are easy to read and somewhat predictable, but fun to read for something lightweight.
Enjoyable!!
Lovely story about a heart recipient. I couldn’t put the book down – a well crafted story.
Enjoyed reading.
Cute and charming. I enjoyed this light Hallmarky type of book, though would have enjoyed more espionage in it.
This book is an easy read but with characters that have depth. It gives a beautiful picture of living through heartache and grief while allowing God to work in His grace. I really enjoyed this book and would like to read the rest of the series.
I got this book as a free one and did not think it would be much of a book. I was wrong! Page turner! Great story about 2 people , both broken hearted about something, drawn together by circumstances and ends happily, great book!
Easy to read,clean,but very predictable.
I enjoyed the setting where the story takes place
I enjoyed this book. It was a nice beach read.
Unrealistic…
An upbeat modern romance in a beautiful setting in which a young couple meet, start falling for each other, and learn to deal with both their gratitude and fears related to his recent heart transplant.
Easy read with good story line. Good development of many characters.
Fun to have a modern-day royalty scenario. I don’t necessarily require a book to be Christian, but any more those are the only ones that don’t include pornography (explicitly written sex scenes.) Fairly realistic in the way things pan out. I’m happy to know there are several other series written by this author including contemporary princesses. I would call it clever rather than witty, but that adjective was not offered as an option.
Kept my interest. A book I didn’t want to put down.
I have enjoyed the whole series. This book was a continuation of the same theme with a few characters in common with other books.
It inspired me to be even more committed in my marriage when things are tough. Left me feeling uplifted- which i love.
This book was sweet to read, A little like the movie “Return to Me” and kept my interest to the end.
I have now read a number off Carol Moncado’s books. Many are similar, but the plot twists are very original and the characters are well-developed and engaging. I like it that many appear on several different books.
