Never steal from a gargoyle…or challenge him to seduce you.Beaumont prides himself on his stellar fae kill record, but his life is upended when a feisty, human female challenges him to seduce her and steals his spirit-embedded stone. He’s on a quest to save his soul, yet this woman makes him harder than a rock, and for a guy who spends his days encased in granite, that’s saying something.Crafty … something.
Crafty and swift, Sadie learned to pickpocket from the best mentor ever—need. After she runs across a tall, sexy gargoyle and steals his most valuable possession, she’s up against more than can she handle. As he hunts her down to retrieve his precious stone, he stirs a passion she didn’t know existed…and can’t resist.
Gargoyle Night Guardians protect human souls from the evil clutches of dark fae. Be careful, though, gargoyles aren’t your average hero for within each guardian rests a questionable soul, one ripe for redemption and eager to become worthy of what we all crave—love.

DNF I could NOT. STAND. Sadie the heroine, she was so selfish and obnoxious I just couldn’t keep reading. I skimmed to 38% and saw no redemption or reason to continue with this awful book. I didn’t even really care about the hero all that much as the book was too fractured to bother with it.
First book in a new gargoyle romance series. I romances with gargoyles and there isn’t enough of them. Gargoyles aren’t born that way but are guardians to humans. They were once human but at death they were neither evil or good. So they are allowed to become guardians against the Fae. The Fae are humans that were evil at the time of death. Humans that are good go to the Other side (a heaven of sorts). So now you know the somewhat of the back story. But this story is centered around one specific gargoyle, Beaumont. And one little human thief, Sadie. There story has plenty of danger and adventure. And the romance builds throughout the story. A great new series that has plenty to work with for future books.
These amazingly well-written stories with great characters make a great story with cursed/punished to be a protector, or gargoyle. These characters have developed well over the series as they are introduced, each have their curses broken as they find love. Each of these stories have action, adventure, twists/turns, chemistry and romance. This Boxset is a must read from a must read Author. I bought/ pre-ordered the rest of this series

Great start to a new series! When Sadie stole Gargoyle Beaumont’s heart stone, neither realized the roller coaster of dangerous skirmishes they would go through together. The attraction was too strong for them to overlook. Make sure you read the bonus epilogue you can receive as part of the author’s newsletter.
This was my first gargoyle book and I loved every page! Awesome characters, fantastic world.
This is a good story. I loved Beaumont and Sadie a lot and they are great together. She steals something of his and hes determined to get it back.
WOW!!!! What else is there to say. This was a really HOT story, and you will be missing out if you do not read it. I could not put it down it was that good!

*purchased copy Jan 2020*
I have a *thing* for the more obscure paranormal creatures, and gargoyles are at the top of that list, since so few are written. Add in an author who is a firm favourite, and really, you can’t go wrong!
And I LOVED this gargoyle book!
It has twists and turns, new additions to the folklore of gargoyles. It has a feisty young lady, with an old head on her shoulders. It has an old solider, with a hardened heart. It has a scorned witch, and some bad as sin fae folk who want nothing more than to destroy all the gargoyles!
Beaumont (not ever shortened to Beau, so many Brownie points!) is old, and actually has had enough. Faced with his little pickpocket stealing his most precious stone, he knows that he will die if he doesn’t get it back. But since meeting the feisty little thief, his attitude is changing, and maybe, just maybe, he can find it, and be happy with Sadie.
I loved that Beaumont only calls Sadie her given name but once in the whole book. She’s his little thief, his pickpocket, all those sorts of names. Why? He doesn’t like that Sadie contains the word SAD! I was like, “oh thats so sweet!”
I liked that Sadie’s sister will play a huge part in another gargoyle’s life, in book 2. And I wonder if the scorned witch will be making another appearence in a later book to redeem herself.
Ms Redd has started a new series with a bang, and I hope to get to read them all!
5 full and shiny stars!
**same worded review will appear elsewhere**
HEART BANDIT is the first book in the Gargoyle Night Guardians series, and we start off with Beaumont, who has been a Gargoyle for over 800 years. We find a new world of evil fae, the Critch, dubious souls, and an unwillingness to give in. Sadie does what she has to, to survive and plan for her longterm goal of getting her GED. If this includes pickpocketing, then so be it. However, all things change when she takes Beaumont’s spark stone.
Rosalie Redd has created a world of interest, with strong alpha males and feisty females to keep them on their toes. There is no “insta-bond” between our two main characters, just good, old-fashioned lust and interest. There are plenty more characters I can’t wait to hear about, not limited to Drake, the leader of the Chicago Gargoyles who you don’t actually see much of.
The world-building is wonderful, the characters come alive, and the pacing is smooth. All in all, this has been a great read and I can’t wait to continue with the series. After all, I’m really hoping for Drake!
Beaumont life changed the day he died and now thanks to the Goddess Rhiannon he lives again as a Gargoyle that battles the Fae there always up to mischief against humans. But Beaumont wasn’t a good guy in his first life but a betrayal from the one person he should trust caused him to be in the first predicament now a petite thief who lives life on the edge trying to survive and stay hidden from her own past is going to end Breaumonts second life if he can’t get back the heart stone she stole from him. Sadie has had a hard life she does bad things like steal from people that save her but she feels bad about just not enough to stop and that stone has got to be worth allot of money. Now Beaumont needs her to get the stone she pawned back easier said than done it’s gone and they have to find it or Beaumont will die for real this time. Both Beaumont and Sadie are looking for redemption there both done bad things and don’t trust easy but together there perfect for each other there’s action steam and lots of bad guys in this book.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
This is my first “gargoyle” book. I must admit I really liked it. It was action packed, drama galore and lots of sexual tension. Beaumont Laroche was turned into a gargoyle when he died by the goddess of sun, fertility, and domesticated animals, Rhiannon. Gargoyles are in war with the fae and they are also tasked with protecting humans. During a battle with some fae, Beaumont encounters and has to save a beautiful little pickpocket named Sadie. After the danger is over and he is knocked unconscious by a pot plant, the little thief steals his wallet and his spark stone. Without his spark stone, Beaumont will die. The search begins for his cute little pickpocket, thief and bandit…he has lots of names for her and can’t get her smell out of his head. This is a great story and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
This was a fun read. Sadie is a complex character and she feels guilty over things she does but she ignores that little voice and does things any way. I had mixed emotions with her not wanting to contact her sister after 5 years of being apart. Beaumont is a man that has had his share of heart ache and a life of loneliness. Every night all he does is fight to save the humans in his city. I had a hard time believing the fact he could get knock out by a flower pot among other things. Here he fights demons and a flower pot knock him out.
This book was kinda long and wordy but over all a good story and the series looks like a great read.

Rosalie Redd has written a fabulous book. I love Gargoyles and this one just ripped my heart out and kept it. These characters are to die for. The danger, action, angst is off the charts. Can’t wait for more.
A matter of trust
Beaumont Laroche killed someone but he had an ambivalent soul. So, he’s a gargoyle fighting the bad fae.
Sadie is a pickpocket with secrets and scars.
I do enjoy a gargoyle paranormal every now and again and this one was steamy and fast paced.

Book one in a new series called Gargoyle Night Guardians, and I already want to read the next book. Sadie McAllister is a pickpocket and after Gargoyle shifter Beaumont Laroche saves her life from the evil Fae Marco, he gets knocked unconscious and she steals his spark stone. Sadie has also been looking for her sister Hannah. This story has suspense, drama, danger, kidnapping, evil Fae, twists, turns, a witch Wynne Becknell that gets herself into trouble, and romance. After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

Beaumont’s sentence to be part of the Gargoyle army has lasted centuries. Sadie is a survivor who picks the wrong target. Meeting her may be his demise, or his salvation. I enjoyed this romance and recommend it.
