This book was a wonderful ending to this series. It was fast and mostly centred on the action rather than the love part. There was a lot of romance though and loved those small details that made up the story. I’ve loved this whole series so far and think that it deserves way more than just the 5/5 stars I can give it. It’s full of love, loyalty, and lots of drama. I love how this book wraps everything that I could have wanted to be tied up. I had no idea that the outcome would be anything like it was. It was a huge surprise and I just felt so good. I don’t know how to explain but it just seemed amazing. Also, this is not standalone. It has the whole subplots of the first and second books so everything just gels together.
Riley and Caitlin were so good together. They supported each other especially Caitlin being there for Riley. I liked seeing the characters from past books. There wasn’t much with Ana and Trey or Riley in the second book, to be honest. I liked that this book goes back to them and what happened with them. It was just a great mix of characters.
Overall, this whole series is worth reading. Like, worth reading. All of the books I’ve read by Jordan Ford have been so yeah.
I received a review copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Riley is looking for answer from his past. Caitlin loves a good mystery. She is the only contact Riley and his friend have at Legacy, where they are hiding. Can Caitlin help him find the answers he needs while keeping the danger out? Will Riley and his friends finally find justice and a future? Great last book in a great series
EXCELLENT ending for this trilogy! I’d actually love to hear about them all ~ like, 10 years later. Were there weddings? Did the families grow? Did Legacy remain their idyllic home on the mountain? Did anyone from either family ever come after any of them or was the vendetta well and truly finished? Did Riley and Caitlyn graduate from college? Grad school? Careers? so many questions remain . . . . well, Ms Ford? What do you think?
Wow what a brilliant finish to this trilogy. This is Riley and local girl Caitlyn’s story and I loved it. The action and drama picked up as the story progressed, I couldn’t put it down. Riley has nightmares and we find they’re connected to his childhood, a tragedy that he had blocked out of his young brain. Like a spider web, the location and the friends he is with are intertwined. There are twists and turns as the mystery unfolds….I didn’t see that coming at all.
Great story, this author is always an easy read. So this is finished now and I wonder what is next for us fans.
Hear No Evil is the final book in the Brotherhood series. It is Riley and Caitlin’s story, as they try to figure out if they are able to have a relationship. Caitlin thinks that she knows who Riley really is, not the Ryan that he presents to the town of Legacy. Riley is attracted to Caitlin, and knows that they have so much in common, but is afraid to come clean about who he is and what they are all doing at the cabin. Riley is less calm than he is in other books, although he does try to keep that veneer. As this is the final book, all of the characters are majorly involved, more so than in the previous two books. As such, I felt this took the spotlight slightly away from Riley and Caitlin, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how it could have been done in any other way.
There is an amazing climax to this book, but be prepared, once it gets going, it is hard to stop! The hits just keep on a’coming, and you are trying to keep up. It is almost so fast that you don’t get chance for the information to sink in and for the implications to sink in, before it’s the next part of it. That being said, it is amazingly well-written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow. This is a wonderful series, well worth a read, and every book in this series is most definitely recommended by me.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *
