Fated for a family
What a wonderful way to write about the inner workings of a cult and the terror and pain that occurs. I love that Sarah was able to escape the cult. She got to Sazar when she needed to be there most. Thank Goddess he was able to return the favor later, otherwise I’m sure she would not have been long for this world. This book explores the pain of loss, a completely different culture and the difficulty in moving on. How cute that the 4 year old loved Sarah from the beginning and I love that Shad made another appearance. I can’t wait to see what his story will be. This book was a great tale for the holidays and I couldn’t put it down until the very end.
I think each book I read in this series becomes my new favourite. This author draws me in every time, despite my eye rolling at how women are treated on other planets lol. It’s all fantasy and I love it.
This fluffy girl escapes from a cult and finds herself whisked away to another galaxy where it seems life is not much different. These two main characters had great chemistry until circumstances turned it all upside down. I kept thinking go and find her, there were a lot of heart pounding moments in the final chapters before they could find their HEA.
Great story and I highly recommend this series.
BTW I want some of those boobie lifters.
#2017
I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I enjoyed it a lot. Sarah and Sazar were great characters and their story is one that’s full of steamy scenes. Sarah is desperate to get the job as Sazar’s assistant. She’s on the run from the brotherhood and her best escape is to get as far from earth, as fast as she can. Sazar has been through so many assistants but there’s something special when it comes to the beautiful Sarah. She is definitely unlike the others. Their journey is one that gives Sazar a second chance at love not only for him but for his son, while also giving Sarah the love and protection she never knew she could find. This author does not disappoint when it comes this paranormal series and I look forward to the next book.
Fun, entertaining sci-fi erotica novel in the Brides of the Kindred series. I definitely liked Sarah a little more than most of the Brides, maybe because of her past. Read if you like this author’s usual brand of sex and crazy outlandish alien sexual customs.
I absolutely love Evangeline Anderson’s writing and would recommend her highly

I’m looking for to reading Shad story and getting introduce to more new kind of Kindred.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This the story Commander Sazar is a single, Pitch-Blood Kindred who lost his wife and has feels empty and lonely inside. He is an ambassador in search of other planets for Kindred genetic trade. He meets and hires as his assistant Sarah, who has escaped The Brotherhood of Peace, a cult where she has done most of her growing up. During their travels to the planet Alquon Ultrea, they discover not only the strength each of them has inside of them but the growing feelings they are developing for each other. As with every Kindred adventure, the way is not made simple, either on the planet or when they return. and The Brotherhood of Peace will not let one of theirs get away that easily either.
As with all of her Kindred books, the story touched on some issues from our everyday lives, including racism, chauvinism, cults and of course some of the difficulties that come with being a single parent, meeting someone new, and getting over the past so you can move forward. There is some sweetness, romance, just enough heat and smexy, and the tenderness of new love and a child who feels left behind. It made me giggle and made me cry. It held all of the feelings and touched on all of the points necessary to make it a great romance. Tsandor, Commander Sazar’s son is such a heart-wrenching part of the story. I loved it from the very first page, and I look forward to seeing these characters in future stories.
