Hope Larsen is living each day of her life with a crippling guilt. The game of ‘what if’ has made it almost impossible to move forward from such ahorrific event. In one life-changing moment, someone who meant so very muchto her was taken. A man who once was her best friend. A man she fell in lovewith. She wanted to love him freely even though he was gone and not feel soimmobilized by his absence. … feel so
immobilized by his absence. Relive the memories of times they shared without
feeling broken and lost.
Then he shows up.
He waltzes right into her life as if he belongs, strong confident and determined to
make her see him.
When Travis Donovan crosses paths with the snarky blonde, he’s intrigued. Her
dismissal of him and his antics doesn’t have the effect she’d hoped for. In fact,
it’s just the opposite. He’s not one to run scared from a challenge, but instead,
he’s the type to fight even harder to conquer it.
Though she tries to fight her attraction for the cocky electrician, she finds that his
dedication fascinates her.
Hope comes to the realization that there’s one thing that scares her the most.
This man reminds her of the one she lost.
That stride, that smile, even the way he torments her…it’s all the same. He could
be the one to show her that it’s okay to move forward. It’s okay to love again.
Travis Donovan just might be the one to heal Hope.

How can I put into words what this book made me feel? This is the hard part of a writing a review: how do I accurately express my feelings for a book when I still have a book hangover from it?
Hope was such a strong woman, both emotionally and mentally. I was constantly putting myself in her shoes and asking myself: how would I have handled that? And I have to be honest and say I don’t think I would have been as strong as Hope.
Travis, oh, he has earned the spot in the book boyfriend category. These together was perfection!
I highly recommend Healing Hope; I plan on reading more from the author.

Wow I really enjoyed Healing Hope and I’m such a huge fan of C.A. Harms her characters and story lines always seem refreshing and give you a roller coaster of emotions which then forces me to not want to put my kindle down and only get a couple of hours of sleep (well worth it ) “wink” . Not only did the main characters steal my heart but the secondary ones did also with their humor and lovable qualities but there is one that is considered to be a bit of a witch . Loved the banter between Hope and Travis sparks fly from the first meeting the heroine tries to deny it but can’t resist for long with the hero charming ways plus he has a very nice butt “wink” the chemistry is off the charts hot with sex scenes that are oh so steamy . I thought Hope was a beautifully written heroine my heart broke for the loss that she has been through and the survivors guilt she feels by not being the person she use to be but with the help of the hero she starts to live again laugh more and show the fire that has been hidden away by grief . Travis is so swoon worthy adore the relationship his has with his mom , brother, sister in law , nephews , and his employees the little but big things he does for the heroine just made me silly grin the only thing that really frustrated me about him I can’t really mention but I really wanted to shake him at times . The secondary characters really bring more heart to the story like Travis’s brother and mother the stuff they would do or say had me in stitches . I’m looking forward to read whats next for this author she really knows how to write such a good book .

What if you had the power to change a small life decision.
What seemed like an inconsequential decision, ended up costing her best friend and first love, his life, totally derailing Hope’s in the process, sending her reeling into a soul deep and crippling heartache, never believing she would want to live or love again. The sorrow felt by Hope was so deep and profound that I couldn’t help but be in tears. One impetuous decision and one senseless criminal act meant that Walker wouldn’t get to experience life, just as Hope didn’t believe she deserved to continue on in hers.
Travis Donovan is a man who loves and appreciates his family. He’s all about hard working values and unconditional love for his mother, his brother Tripp, and Tripp’s family. He sees the love that Tripp and his wife have for each other, and, even never having experienced it for himself, knows that is what he wants in his life. He sees the gorgeous and fiery Hope, immediately sparking off her, endeavouring to get any reaction from her at all.
Unknowingly though, everything Travis does is something that Walker had also done, and only served to remind her of everything with him that she had lost. Every damn time. Perhaps in dragging those reminders out of her, unpacking and thinking about the love and laughter they used to share, will allow her to remember Walkers’ legacy of love, and move on to live the life she was meant to have after he’d saved her.
Finally, it is a single purple flower that acted as a thin edge that started to wedge the walls around Hope’s heart apart.
I REALLY loved this book. I ranged from tears, to the absolute wonder at the love between our couple and their respective families, and back to tears again as Hope worked through the despair, sorrow and finally loving acceptance of missing Walker yet moving on with Travis, and the incredible relationship that he wanted to build with her. Trouble is, Travis is also trying to build his business in conjunction with an egotistical businessman and his equally insistent daughter.
What if all you could do was to live the life that was saved by the one you lost. Live life and love to the fullest in honour of them. Absolutely 5 stars for a beautiful book that will stay with you for quite some time.
