How would his fingers feel making her body dance like he makes the kite dance in the air
Healing Her Curves is a lovely story about Pauline and Christopher. When Pauline goes back to the doctor for a follow-up appointment where she is sure he will tell her the same thing as all the other doctors………….it is all in her head. But when Dr. Rothman see her and reviews her blood tests he discovers all of her symptoms are being caused by hypothyroidism. The good news is that it is easy to treat with a drug and ensuring she is eating properly. She is told to book another follow-up in a month.
Now that this issue is dealt with the real test for Christopher comes in the form of trying to not break the rules and pursue Pauline, as he really is attracted to her. Pauline is also attracted to the model handsome doctor but figures he would never go for a curvy woman. But things change a few weeks later, before her next follow-up, when Dr. hottie cannot stay away from the curvy beauty and goes on the hunt for her at the local park. He knows she likes to fly kites, which he also did with his now deceased nephew, and while he is at the park he comes across an old friend from his kite flying days. He is lucky enough to find Pauline and this starts them getting to know each other over the next several weeks as they share flying kites together.
After a kite flying competition in which Pauline wins a ribbon he is ready to finally celebrate and make her his for now and forever.
This is a sweet and fun story with nicely written characters that have some depth and emotion to them. They each help to heal the other through their shared enjoyment of kite flying, a nice metaphor for soaring freely in life.
Great story. Pauline is having trouble with concentration and feeling sluggish and no energy. She visits a new doctor who after a few blood tests find that she has a thyroid disease. Christopher (her doctor) also finds out that she likes to fly a kite. He ends up at the park where people go to fly kites. They are getting to know each other as they are both attracted to each other. Love the insta love and the time they get to know each other. I really enjoyed the premise of this book. It’s not just your run of the mill doctor sees and falls in love with patient book. Pauline has a medical issue that Christopher is the first in a long line of doctors to actually diagnose. His willingness to listen and actually explore what could be causing her medical issues, to believe that their is an issue not just tell her she needs to lose weight, is the key to winning Pauline’s heart. In turn, Pauline brings Christopher a joy that has long been missing in his life. After a personal tragedy, Pauline is the first to bring Christopher back from just surviving to actually living again. This is a surprisingly deep story for being a short read. Well worth your time and money. Loved it!

When Pauline goes to visit a doctor, all she knows is she is tired all the time. After her visit, she knows that her doctor is perfect and that he might be able to fix her condition. When she mentions her love of kite flying, he is smitten. An older man and a younger, curvy woman whose insta-love flies as high as a kite.

I enjoyed this story. There are a lot of feels in this story. The characters are relatable.
Christopher is a doctor and he’s not supposed to fall for his patients. After meeting the curvy beauty Pauline he knows that he’s going to have to figure out a way to be with her. Christopher finds out that she loves flying kites, so he looks for her where he used to go with his nephew. He has to convince Pauline that she is amazing and that he loves her and her curves.
There were times during this story that I wanted to cry, but there were also times I couldn’t stop smiling. Christopher was all-in and just had to get Pauline on the same page. The way that Christopher encouraged her to follow her dreams was wonderful. Pauline helping Christopher to heal his grief was sweet. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.
