Heal Me by Bronwen Evans is a fantastic contemporary romance. Ms. Evans has provided us with an entertaining read, loaded with amazing, lovable characters. There were quite a few typo kind of issues, very unusual for this author. Ric is a business owner along with two of his friends. When he breaks his ankle he stays in Coopers Creek to recover at his sister’s home. Kate is a vet and makes a house call for Ric’s sister while he’s puppy sitting. Kate and Ric’s story is loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover and look forward to reading more from Bronwen Evans in the future.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Instafreebie. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

After her fiance dies, Kate Donoghue has picked up the broken pieces of her heart and moved on and is building a new life in Coopers Creek, Colorado as the local vet and senior member of the mountain rescue team. This story follows on from Love Me. Another ‘unputdownable’ read from the author. Ric usually has one night stands & Kate hasn’t had a date in the eighteen months since Phil died. There is an immediate attraction between the pair, they start to take things slowly by having lunch but dinner in a cabin soon scorches the pages. The book has it’s light side, a broken bed, garbage bags & duct tape. However Horizon is facing some difficulties as Chase acted out of character & made a mistake, hopefully that will be revealed. The chemistry between Ric & Kate is so hot, but their relationship is more about being willing to love again & to compromise for the joy it brings.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
Having read the first book in this series, Love Me, I was interested to see how this book would pan out. In this gentle romance, both local vet Kate and big city financier Ric have experienced loss of love. Even though they are strongly attracted to one another, neither of them want more than surface relationships, as they are unwilling to commit their hearts. I found the plot interesting and my attention was captured from the opening sentence, wondering how the unlikely couple would find their way through their difficulties. However, when faced with ultimatums and business backstabbing, it’s amazing how problems can be solved. The story is well written and romantic, leaving the reader feeling good when the last chapter closed. Although this book is part of a series and characters from the previous book appear in this one as well, it is nevertheless a standalone and has a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift for free and this is my honest and voluntary review.
