I admit it! There may have been a couple of times while reading this book that I was tempted to shake some sense into Bailey. I understood where he was coming from, but hey, he already got his HEA, and if anyone should have been rooting for Sean and Xander to get theirs, it should have been him. Still, this particular complication was one that I was really curious to see resolved. Kudos to Ella Frank for ensuring that there wasn’t some quick and easy fix, allowing for certian characters to come to their own realization that Sean and Xander were the real deal. That ending? So sweet! Five stars for Headlines.

This is the final installment of the Prime Time series and it starts off right where the previous book ended. Sean and Xander have some groveling to do when it comes to Bailey. Sean and Xander being together totally devastated Bailey but he needs to really look at why he is so tore up about it. They enlist, much to Sean’s chagrin, Bailey’s lover Henri to smooth things over for the couple. Can Bailey come to terms with his best friend dating his “straight” brother? At first Bailey’s feelings about their relationship seems to tear them apart, but can it push them closer together? Overall it is a fantastic book as well as series. I can’t recommend it enough!!

5 Stars of Smashing Love! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Sean and Xander falling hopelessly in love with each other is the best thing ever. These Two men have a whole lot going on… love hate… kinda childhood friends… brothers best friend… brothers ex… opposites attract… well, it actually makes for the perfect combination for off the charts chemistry. They obviously care for each other in a I’ve known you my entire life way, neither of them ever expect to find the best thing in each other.
In the third book all the tension is revolved around Bailey having to cope and come to terms with his brothers relationship with his best friend. I really enjoyed the fact that we saw how this affects Sean and Xander. How hurt they are by Bailey’s reaction. It makes it all that much better.
I loved this trilogy so much and wish there was more.

Oh my GOD how I love Sean and Xander. There is something about the way Ella Frank is able to convey the tenderness of their relationship, but also the strength and masculinity of both characters are that grabs my heart and won’t let go. This is the conclusion of their trilogy, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I love these books so much that I had to pace myself so I didn’t devour the entire book in one sitting and then sit there all lonely and bereft!
This final chapter in Sean and Xander’s story is about them trying to get Sean’s brother, Bailey, to come to terms with their relationship. Not only is Bailey Sean’s brother, but he and Xander have been best friends since they were kids, and they are also ex-boyfriends. Bailey finds out about Sean and Xander’s relationship by accident, before they tell him about it, and he feels unbelievably betrayed. I struggled to understand why Bailey had such a hard time accepting Sean and Xander together. I haven’t read Ella’s Confessions series, which contains Bailey’s story, so I plan to go back and read that one, I think it might help understand where Bailey is coming from. But even when Bailey is in the throes of his struggle for acceptance, and he is lashing out at both Sean and Xander, the tenderness between Sean and Xander shows us how very strong their relationship is. I think what I loved most about this story was that once Sean figured out he was falling for Xander, he was utterly, 100% committed, and he didn’t give one tiny rat’s ass about who knew about it, or what they thought. For someone who had believed himself to be a straight man for his entire life, I thought he came to terms with that with so much grace.
The love between these two characters just seems so beautiful and real. I know it’s a fairy tale, but I REALLY want it to be real!! I loved the whole series, and I can’t wait to see what Ella will bring us next, but I’m excited to go back and read all her earlier books in the Confessions series, because if they are half as good as the Prime Time Series, I’m going to love them!

The final installment of Xander and Sean’s passionate romance was full of emotions, they were more in love with each other than ever, but still the world didn’t seem to believe in their relationship. That doesn’t really matter, right? But when your family seemed to feel that way, their love would be tested for sure.
I enjoyed this series because the two main characters that love is just love, no matter the gender or what your preferences were in the past.
When you fell for someone, you fell for what this person made you feel, for she or he represented, like you cannot live without this person.
Xander and Sean were totally in phase but somehow still in their safe bubble. When they had to get back to work they would face people’s judgmental minds, assumptions and their relationship was increasingly questioned. But it didn’t discourage them, strengthening their bond and minds about their feelings.
They took another step in that story. The one that solidified everything. I adored this couple and how they shared their feelings and giving to the other entirely. Of course, nothing wasn’t perfect and they still had to learn from each other but at least they knew how to communicate and find their balance.
I appreciated reading this series but it could have been one long book or maybe a duet but not a trilogy. Not much was happening in the last book. However, it worked for me.
There were some adorable and sexy moments. Xander and Sean were such an endearing couple.

Aweee…. I find myself at the end of another 3 part series by Ella Frank and I am already looking forward to what she has next. Headlines is book #3 in the Prime Time trilogy and can’t be read as a standalone. Book 3 picks up basically where book 2, Breaking News, leaves off. Sean and Xander continue in their relationship, but sadly Bailey is not having it. This book focuses mainly on Bailey and his reaction to Sean and Xander being a couple. while I loved this book, I think 2 books would have been more impactful. That being said, Ella is is so good at the emotional and sexual connection and chemistry between her characters that I did find that aspect truly enjoyable.

Headlines brings to an end Xander and Sean’s unconventional love story. Picking up from Breaking News, this story focuses on the deepening of their relationship, as well as dealing with the consequences and repercussions when it comes to Bailey.
I have to admit, I was a little taken aback at Bailey’s response to them as a couple. I understand him being surprised, concerned, and even a little hurt. And he had ever right to feel the way he felt. But I never expected him to react the way he did.
I’m glad Xander and Sean didn’t let his reaction come between them, although it did add some stress to their relationship for a bit. But they were grown-ups about it, unlike a certain brother, and took the time to discuss things between them, and worked through it all together.
I really enjoyed seeing them grow stronger as a couple. For such opposites, and for having such a contentious start to their relationship, it was nice to see a couple like them find their hea.
I’ve seen a couple other people mention this, and I have to agree- I think overall as a whole, this trilogy would have worked better as a duet.

I have so many feelings about this conclusion to Sean and Xander’s story. Mostly love for these sweet men but there was something else too. Anger towards Bailey that translated to anger at Ella for making lovable Bailey act this way.
Sean and Xander were the couple that never should have happened but they’re also one of the sweetest. Everything is so effortless between them. They just fit. There’s no ego or jealousy. Even when they argue, you can feel the love between them.
That’s why Bailey’s reaction to their relationship made me so mad. I can understand him being upset that his brother and best friend hid things from him. After all, Bailey values honesty. But his reaction seemed way out of proportion and not very Bailey-like. He’s always been the sweet one. But as I kept reading, it became more and more obvious why he felt the way he did. And when I thought of it that way, I finally understood.
I love that Ella makes me feel like her characters are part of my family. I feel so protective of them and want to punch anyone who hurts them. I hope she never stops making me feel that way.

The final book in the Sean and Xander story does not disappoint. When the headlines come calling these two stick to their guns and what is important to them both. This is a story of love and mending friendships. Dealing with family and friends who get upset at how relationships start or progress show how true emotions run! I am in love with this couple and could love the ending more! I could not put this book down but didn’t want to see it end! Love these guys!

I loved it, but I felt like I needed a little more; here’s why.
What I loved:
Sean and Xander, of course! Their relationship has been fun to experience.
Tieing up all the loose ends that were left from book two.
What I didn’t love:
It started a little slow for me. I kept thinking we were going somewhere with it, but it took a while.
I needed more action, more drama. It felt stagnant.
Overall:
I think she could have done these books as a duet. This book felt like it stretched to the story when it could have been condensed into the other two books.
I still like it a lot; Xander and Sean are amazing! Again felt like the three books could have been two, and it would have been perfect.

Perfect ending to this amazing series. The author gave us exactly what we wanted with this conclusion. Xander and Sean are so perfect for each other and we get the best of them with this story.
For the most of this incredible read we deal with The guys and their relationship with Baylee. All three of them hurting and trying to fix things to mend their broken relationships. One scene with Bayley and Xander I broke down for these two wonderful friends.
I loved everything about this book and the series as a whole and totally recommend it. It’s sexy, sweet and full of love. I adored it.

An unbelievable ending to a breathtaking series. Xander and Sean were the hottest and most charismatic characters i have read about this year. This stinking year that has gone so horribly wrong, these two have given me immeasurable joy and memories. Laughter, tears, frustration, arousal, wonder. They were just a hint of what they had me feeling. This story was edgy, dangerous, powerful and passionate. I could not have wished for a more perfect series. Their beginning was messy and fraught with tension and bickering. Their middle was full of sexual frustration and discovery. The ending was sublime. So happy to have read this fine series. So sad it had to end. 5 stars

Brave, brilliant, beautiful.
I think these guys became my favorite couple at the moment (I always say that when I read a new couple, LOL). I absolutely loved this series.
This books starts off when book 2 ended. We have the conflict between Sean and Xander’s newly-found reltaionship vs Bailey’s finding out. The drama is low but intense, this is how real friendship works. Then we have thy lovey-dovey times and sexy times, where both Sean and Xander keep exploring their love and how good they are for each other. And finally, the HEA they deserve so much.
To be honest, I hope we read more about them in the future, otherwise, I will miss them.
Remember that this is a trilogy (at the moment) and you have to read the 3 books in order.

Headlines was a good wrap up to the Prime Time Series and Xander and Sean’s story. It was filled with all the usual emotion, steam, and humor that I come to expect from an Ella Frank book. I will admit that a certain character, who I normally really like, frustrated me quite a bit in this book. Luckily, this character pulled their head out of their butt and saw the big picture. Sean and Xander are a very cute couple. Even though they are complete opposites, and will admit that, they make it work. They make each other better individuals and think of things from a different perspective than they used to. They haven’t had an easy road to love and a happily ever after by any means, but after all they’ve been through I’m very happy with where they ended up. I’m sad to see this series come to an end and to say goodbye to all these wonderful characters. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

Headlines is the third and final book in the Prime Time series by Ella Frank. This series is a M/M bi awakening romance filled with so many swoons, it’s a wonder I didn’t just melt away. I’ve been waiting for the conclusion to Xander and Sean’s love story and it was every bit worth the wait.
What started out as Sean protecting Xander from a stalker and posing as his fake boyfriend in the previous two books quickly turned to more. Sean, who was straight, and Xander, who was not, fell in love. And this was no crush, no experimental, temporary thing. This was true, deep, soul stirring, forever love. Up until now, Xander and Sean have kind of been in their own little bubble. But when Sean’s brother, Bailey, who is also Xander’s best friend and ex-boyfriend, catches them kissing, the bubble is burst.
“When did you become my favorite thing to look at?”
“About the same time you became a serious smooth talker.”
Xander and Sean are completely devoted to each other and what has grown between them. But Bailey is angry and hurt. And he’s not letting them in, at all. Xander has known Bailey his entire life. He and Sean have to decide, are they all in, no matter the consequences? Or, do they walk away, not wanting to lose their relationship with Bailey?
“You give me purpose. You make me want to be the one who fixes things, and is all brave and strong. You give me a reason to want to come home at night.”
At the same time, they are forced to deal with the public’s knowledge of their new relationship since Xander is a well known news anchor, as well as other family members. Their new found love is most definitely put to the test.
“Without you, nothing makes sense anymore.”
What did I love about this book? Everything! I loved that there was no issue between these two. They knew how they felt about each other and owned it. The only issues were outside of their relationship. I have to admit here that I was pretty unhappy with the way Bailey was handling this. Although later, I did understand his feelings. But my feelings are based completely on my love for Xander and Sean. I’m like a protective mama! And the ending! So amazingly awesome.
If you enjoy M/M romance and want a series that early on has suspense, and will make you sigh and swoon and just make you happy, this is it. Ella Frank is amazing at making me fall in love with her characters. I hope you fall in love with them too.

What a perfect way to end this trilogy!! I have been waiting for this book since that cliffhanger and we finally have Sean and Xander’s HEA! This is a continuing storyline and cannot be read as a standalone.
I love how how Sean and Xander are perfect for each other. I love the progress of their relationship and this book had all the feels and steam. Bailey, on the other hand, was a total 180 from Confessions. I felt his behaviour was a bit childish and annoying.
While I loved this story, I would have preferred a bigger book instead of three small ones. But still adored this series and can’t wait for more! And the epilogue was just swoony!

Swoon! I am the human emoji of the swirling hearts right now. I took the afternoon off work as soon as this hit my Kindle and honestly, best day off in a long time. What an emotional ride Sean and Xander finding their HEA was. My heart hurt for both men, as well as Bailey, as they tried to navigate Bailey finding out about their relationship. There was so many hurt feelings between these men. While they attempted to navigate those feelings, I enjoyed seeing Sean and Henri forge a bond with each other. I loved how Sean and Xander’s relationship unfolded. They faced some tough challenges along the way, and neither man shied away from their feelings. Sean owned his sexuality and his newfound feelings for a man, and dared anyone to question the feelings he had for Xander. Sean and Xander finding their HEA was something special. I couldn’t have picked a better way for it to have unfolded. Ella has once again done a wonderful job at bringing us some equally amazing men. I’ve loved living in her world she’s created for us readers. I absolutely loved this series, and I’m sad to see it end, however I know it’s one I will revisit!

Like always Ella Frank has knocked it out of the park. This is the perfect third and final book with all the elements you need to leave you feeling satisfied.
There’s a little drama to deal with but it’s necessary for their happy ever after and it’s all handled very well. Xander and Sean get stronger and stronger even with the odd bump in the road.
Sean really has been a revelation from when we saw him in Bailey and Henri’s story. It really is the case of not judging a book by its cover.
The last few chapters were my favourite and the epilogue a delight. I really hope we get to visit these guys again.
I admit it! There may have been a couple of times while reading this book that I was tempted to shake some sense into Bailey.

Awe this was such a sweet closing to this series. I have to say I’d love to see Sean in action! That first chapter whew! I just love seeing Xander and Sean tug their finals strings to make the knot that holds them together. This series sure went by fast and I look forward to what Ella brings next.
