Last in the Prime time series trilogy. Xander and Sean are both larger than life characters. Is going to be really hard to let them go. I really enjoyed how much of Bailey and Henri we got to see! Ella always develops such rich and exciting characters and story lines. Love these men! Best yet love to see these men so happy! Bravo!

Sean and Xander are fiercely adorable. Not a lot happened in the last book of this trilogy but there’s a heavy dose of angst from Bailey who takes issue with his ex dating his brother. I actually teared up at one point and that’s why I adore Ella’s books…the emotions she pulls out of me. From book one where Sean is emotionally shut down and alone to now? I wanted to bear hug that man and soothe his cranky soul. His character has shown so much growth. And Xander? Mr. workaholic playboy? He’s sweet and nurturing and protective as hell. All of the things that light me up. Steamy goodness and a swoonworthy ending to this handsome couple.

Headlines is exactly what I wanted for a conclusion to the Prime Time series. Once again, Ella Frank did not disappoint with the sometimes intense but always sexy continuation of the love that is Xander and Sean. These two never expected to find in the other a forever kind of happy but after what they have endured, I couldn’t imagine them with anyone else. And thankfully, they were in complete agreement.
Picking up two weeks after the explosive ending for book two, the fall-out from Bailey’s discovery of Xander and Sean’s semi-private romance is still hurting all parties involved. It made me sad for all of them, that they couldn’t get past what had transpired with Bailey seemingly the most stubborn man ever. I did love, however, that Sean reached out to Henri, especially since their relationship is anything but friendly on a good day. Knowing how destroyed Xander was at losing his best friend, Sean really stepped up for his lover and showed how much he has grown just by having the anchorman by his side.
Despite all the drama they were experiencing with Bailey, that didn’t stop Sean and Xander from getting even more passionate in and out of the bedroom. These two couldn’t keep their hands off each other and no one was more pleased about this than I was. You haven’t lived until you’ve read an Ella Frank sex scene, and she brought her A-game once again when it came to the trysts the detective and his anchorman thoroughly enjoyed.
The tenderness that stays at the forefront of this book made me smile and often. Whether it was Xander and Sean falling even more in love than they thought possible or the pain Bailey finally allowed Xander to see in their eventual showdown, there is a sigh factor that can’t be beat with these well-written and endearing characters.
Thrilled that everything turned out the way I wanted, I sincerely hope we get to see more of the Bailey brothers, perhaps with brother Kieran finally getting his turn at finding an HEA of his own.

Ahhhhhh, swoon. That’s how I feel finishing Sean and Xander’s story in Headlines by Ella Frank. These two made me smile, made my heart feel full and kept me cheering for their relationship throughout all three books. For two people who are so different, they are truly so perfect for each other. ” I’m talking about the man who took me out into the middle of nowhere and showed me there’s plenty of glitter beyond the city. You just have to look up.”
Headlines finishes the Prime Time series with Bailey, Sean’s brother/Xander’s ex, adding waves to their blossoming romance. There is so much more back storyline that I need to devour with Henri and Bailey’s story sitting on my Kindle patiently awaiting my attention. Don’t worry boys, I’m coming for you!!

This is the third installment and the final chapter in Xander and Sean’s story. I have really enjoyed reading their story and I am actually sad to see it come to an end. Every time I read a book by this author she takes me on an adventure and her words just always provoke so many emotions. I can’t wait to see what’s next in store!
Xander and Sean are adjusting to a new life after Xander’s stalker has finally been caught but with Bailey still not talking to them, it’s hard to enjoy their new founded relationship. Their bond gets stronger every day and their relationship steps up to another level. But even though doubt seems to creep into Sean’s mind, he wants to fight for what they have found. With everything seems to go against them, their love for one another is blossoming and getting stronger. Will their relationship survive the ultimate test?…

What a way to end a series. I honestly did not want it to end. Sean and Xander needed their HEA with everything they went through. There’s soo much I want to say about this book but I will give it away. Honestly, all I can say is that Ella Frank has done it again. She introduced us to another couple and I don’t want their story to end. I highly recommend this series for anyone who loves a story where the love of their life was in front of them their whole lives and didn’t see it until it was almost too late. I am looking forward to Ella’s next book.

Headlines is the very anticipated conclusion of the Prime Time series and it needs to be read in order. If you haven’t read the previous two books, be warned that this review might contain spoilers.
I fell in love with Xander and Sean in Inside Affair and that love has only grown with Breaking News and now Headlines. Despite the fact that Sean hadn’t been with a man before Xander, the transition was very smooth, yet realistic. They were just inevitable, so well-suited for each other and it was refreshing that aside from a small stumble in this installment, they handled everything thrown their ways with maturity. Of course, the fact that they had scorching chemistry didn’t hurt matters. 😉
I felt the whole thing with Bailey dragged for a little too long and that’s my only complaint about this book. It was understandable that Bailey felt hurt, but his reactions were too OTT. But oh well, all’s well that ends well, right?
All in all, this was a fantastic, emotional read, and that epilogue was the best thing ever and left me crying tears of joy. Ella Frank has a way to bring characters to life for me and make me fall for them as hard as they fall for each other and I can’t wait to find out what she’ll have in store for us next.

Headlines is book 3 of the Prime Time trilogy. The entire trilogy is about Sean and Xander’s developing relationship and should be read in order.
The cliffy we were left with in book 2, Breaking News, left some doubt as to whether Sean and Xander’s relationship could survive their most recent dilemma.
Like all relationships, the difficulties can often determine the strength of a couple’s love for each other. Sean and Xander were no exception.
Ella Frank’s stories are addicting and her writing is top notch. I have no idea what awaits her readers but rest assured we are all looking forward to reading it

Headlines is the third book in the Prime Time series by Ella Frank. You can NOT read this as a standalone, it’s the conclusion to Sean and Xander’s beautiful, complicated, and suspenseful love story. It picks up a few weeks after Breaking News ended. Ella is one the queens of cliffhangers and I love it.
Over the last few months their lives have changed in so many ways. Sean and Xander weren’t exactly friends when Sean steps up to protect his brother’s best friend/ex-boyfriend. But over time, with many talks and an unexpected attraction their relationship moved step by step into love. Nobody saw this coming especially Bailey and now he feels betrayed, hurt, and in shock. Can the three of them move on or will Sean and Xander have to make a difficult decision to save their relationship with Bailey?
Wow! What a conclusion to this couple’s story. They definitely have their ups and downs to deal with. It’s not easy but worth it, right? Love always is. I just love their banter and passion. Their strength within themselves and to each other. They bring out the best in the other and it’s amazing.
Quotes:
“When did you become my favorite thing to look at?”
Damn, there went my heart. “About the same time you became a serious smooth talker.”
“Aren’t you curious?” I asked.
Kieran looked up from his phone and waggled his brows. “Bet that’s not the first time you’ve said that to him.”
“Will there be Pop-Tarts?”

“Sometimes opposites could attract–they just had to compromise and meet somewhere in the middle. We both knew and believed that. Now if only everyone else in our life could get on board, that would amazing.”
Finally the finale for Sean and Xander! I love these two so much! Now after all of the major events of the last two books they are getting back to real life, heading back to work, and dealing with the fallout from their relationship being exposed…most notably to Sean’s brother and Xander’s best friend/ex-boyfriend, Bailey. He is not taking it so well. And they both are struggling with guilt, regrets, and fear that Bailey’s response will either ruin their relationships with him or worse end up tearing them apart. And they also now fodder for gossip and speculation in all aspects of their lives. They are definitely not hiding anything anymore.
These guys have come a long way and finally seem to know what they want. But at the same time, they do not want to hurt anyone, damage their careers, or destroy longtime relationships. So they will be faced with choices and have to decide what is most important.
This one frustrated me a bit. Well, one character mostly was seriously annoying me. But I completely adore Sean and Xander and had faith they would be able to fix the situation. But this drove the most emotional plotline for this part of their story.
I have loved the growth of these two during this trilogy both individually and as a couple. These two seemed like such opposites at the beginning of their journey but have learned to give and take and be true to themselves. Detective Dick has become his softer version of Sean and is such a more healthy, open, happy, put-together, and loving person. His walls have been shattered and he is actually finally living and enjoying life. And previously playboy and work-a-holic Xander has learned to slow down and enjoy life and understand what a real connection with someone can bring. These two are sweet, tender, sarcastic, and so freakin’ hot together. I love how they challenge each other and bring out the best in the other. Their bond is so real and their chemistry is scorching. They have definitely become one of my fave couples from this author.
I have enjoyed each installment getting to know them better and loved seeing how their story played out. I hope we might see one or two more of the side characters show up in later books.

We have finally come to the last book in this amazing trilogy. Sean and Xander have survived a stalker attack, a radically changing relationship from friends to lovers, but now we have their biggest hurdle; surviving family scrutiny.
You’d think family would be the least of their problems as Xander and Sean’s younger brother, Bailey, dated years ago and were now best friends, but unfortunately their new couple status throws Bailey into a tailspin. The guilt and turmoil thrown into their new relationship is a weight that may just rip them apart.
Bailey has a hard time coming to terms with his brother’s new found status, especially with his old flame. Both Sean and Xander weigh the pros and cons of what is more important, family and friends vs. their new relationship and what will stand the test of time.
As much as you want to shout at everyone to keep their noses out of Sean’s and Xander’s business, on the flip side, given that Sean has never once stepped foot in the other camp, per say, I understand why everyone in their lives are weary that perhaps this is just a passing fancy. Something that both of them are experiencing given the high intensity emotions that they were both under with the stalker and Sean getting shot, etc…
With that being said, both men are just that, men. They are old enough to make their own mistakes and for that their family should let them if that is what they are making. Everyone should be more supportive, but there are lots of individual reasons as to why they are not, but I won’t give those away since you need to read this wonderful book and experience it on your own.

I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the Prime Time series, or for a better ending for Sean and Xander. This book was everything I hoped for and more!
The end of book 2 left readers on the edge of their seats with how Bailey reacted to finding out about Sean and Xander. This book picks up a few weeks after, and Sean and Xander are trying to navigate not only their new relationship but how to fix their relationship with Bailey. The question is, can that relationship ever be mended, or will Sean and Xander have to say goodbye for good?
Absolutely loved this story, and this series! From page one to the very end I devoured this story. I had to know how everything was going to play out. I’m sad to see this series go, but I’ve loved everything about Sean and Xander. They are the epitome of opposites, yet the way that they complement each other is perfection. I also really enjoyed that we got to see a little of Sean in action at his real job. And the chemistry between Sean and Xander is out of this world!! Talk about steamy!! You won’t be disappointed with this one!
