Mine.
This is book is a dark stalker romance and contains dubious scenes.
He Hates Me Not is the second part of a duet and is NOT standalone.

In this book we pick up where book one finishes so you must read that before this one and we dive straight into the action where the cliffhanger left us.
Jasper is trying to keep Petal safe from the enemy and will do anything for that to happen. She doesn’t see it that way as he took her from her home and flew her to Italy. Petal though, the strong character she is, is always looking for a way to escape as she’s not sure how to survive Jasper and his dominant ways, but can’t deny the feelings she has for him and how good he makes her feel in a dark and delicious way. Jasper knows her wants and needs better than herself, throwing her mind into chaos.
“He’s not only my tormentor but also my captor now. He’s a nightmare.”
I loved Jasper even more in this book. His possessive nature was of the charts and he gave me chills every time he reminded Petal about it. I also really enjoyed the softer side we see of him, and his love note to Petal was beautiful and so totally him.
The story is dark, twisted, violent with a good mafia element and will completely draw you in. It’s fast-paced, addictive and the heat levels are turned up full!
This is my first ‘Stalker’ read and I really enjoyed it. I don’t always like when two authors write a book as sometimes you can tell who’s writing is who’s especially when you are more familiar with only one of the authors, but this story flowed, the writing was great and I would never have known. A definite recommend read.
ARC received for an honest review – thank you

is the second and last book in the & by , and what a duet it was.
starts right where ended. Now Georgina is at the mercy of Jasper. But he is not the Jasper she knew as a kid, he is Alessio Vitallio and she is Georgina Costa.
” , ’ .”
Their families have been enemies since ever, and now that Jasper knows who he really is; he wants revenge. He will not rest until he kills every last one of the Costa’s. And he will start with his Petal.
“’ .”
Georgina is confused at the turn of events, she is Jasper’s captive now and he will do whatever he pleases to her. A part of her hates it, but a bigger part loves it. However, no matter what Jasper does to her is never enough, she wants to meet her father because she does not remember him as the monster Jasper described, but as a loving father who did what he did to protect his only daughter.
It was very nice to see a softer side of Jasper with Georgina, the fact that he can never say no to her was super cute. But I kinda felt like the author skipped a lot of things.
Like how come Japer never remembered his family before but suddenly he remembers everything?? It would’ve been nice to see how he started remembering all of that. And also when Georgina’s father said he had nothing to do with the killing of Jasper’s family and that it was his brother and father who did it, but we never knew if it was true or not. And then there’s Georgina and her fear of spiders which the author explained but did not really explain. I would’ve really loved to see Paolo confront his brother Lucio about killing his wife.
Regardless of these things, I really enjoyed this book and I really liked how everything turned out. Jasper and Georgina finally got their happily ever after.
WOW! He Hates Me Not by Rina Kent and Isabella Starling is just pure dark and sinister stalkery madness.
The level of depravity and obsession is unmatched in anything I’ve ever read before. It’s a wild ride and it raw, gritty and full of violence, lies and obsession.
This book picks up right where book one left us. While Georgina is struggling to understand and accept some revelations, she can’t help but to still be drawn to him. Jasper is obsessed with her, he wants to consume her, taint her with his darkness. Does she have a shot of escaping when she’s been marked by the devils target? Or maybe she doesn’t want to escape at all!
Now this book is explicitly dark, I like dark SO I hope you do too, because it is dark you’re gonna get. It is full of so much violence, gore, suspense, murder, and blood.
Their banter and chemistry is explosive and possessive. It’s harsh and raw, and violent and oh so hot.
This was definitely a fantastically unexpected and insane conclusion to this duet. I had no idea what was coming my way from page to page. It’s kind of awesome when that happens !
Pick up this dark, dirty and delicious duet today!
Happy Reading Friends!

Cliffhanger Warning-No Cliffhanger! It’s all great in the end!

HOLY HOTNESS!!
The series is COMPLETE and my God its AMAZING.
I Absolutely love jasper because even though hes brutal and a dangerous killer, he takes care of his own with his all.
Once I started this I couldnt put it down, my heart was in my mouth and I was on the edge of my seat I shouted at my kindle more times then I can count.
I’m sad to see this series complete but so glad the lady ended it in style.
4.5 Perfect-Ending Stars!
I went into this expecting an epic ending and that is what I got. They cRaZiNeSs between Jas and his Pet continued, to new levels that were both exciting and twisted. It was all I could ask for in a mafia romance.
5 BRAVO STARS!! These two author have given us magnificent duet….book 2 picks up from the ending of the first book. We readers are still on the rollercoaster with all the twist & turns, so hold on tight it will get bumpy. Their story is sexy, tough, filled with drama and so much love in the dark world, but you will love every word. You should definitely read this duet.
The Last Petal of the Daisy: He Loves Me
This story picks up immediately where part 1 left off, placing us in Bella Sicilia with the two main characters cohabiting relatively peacefully while Jasper / Alessio assumes the head of his family’s business and the community that looked up to the Familia Vasillio. Petal remains, with a measure of reluctance, by his side ever enraptured by their tumultuous, steamy, and delightfully kinky relationship. As the story evolves and Petal learns about more her past and her place in it, this knowledge and her own independence begin to influence their relationship, in addition to Jasper’s plans for the future.
I enjoyed this stint in the old country, the personalities of the new characters I encountered, the internal conflict of seeking revenge, the two characters coming into their own, but I did find this book was slightly less engaging than the first book. The storyline was overly descriptive as to needlessly slow down its pace. My attention was lost in the middle. Still, I must commend the authors’ ability to render a full-immersion, film-watching visual of the storyline.
Overall, this book was fairly predictable mafia story with some passionate kink, some love rediscovered, and some angst which resolved themselves into a quintessential, heart-warming HEA. The originality came from (1) their time in Sicily where I do believe the authors nailed the sentiment of the region, (2) the steaminess of the characters’ love play, and (3) the stellar character development. Good read, classic more than inventive, amid substantial world building with two very kinky, very appealing characters.
He Hates Me Not is the final conclusion to the obsessive stalker love story of Jasper. Kent and Starling did hell of a job with this duet.
As Jasper kidnaps his little petal and locks her down, basically qurantining her for everyone but himself, things take a turn for good when love sparkles between them. But their enemies are way too strong to continue their sickly passionate love story ahead.
I loved He Hates me, it was just a Ker Dukey type of romance however, I wasn’t sure about the concluding act with this couple. As much as I expected the filth, it played out quite differently. For majority of chapters, we see Jasper battling his feelings for Georgina and vice versa even through having a wild passionate full on intimacy. But at the end of the day, both would close down. The action scenes were pretty less and I felt like the story dragged for majority of time. The duet could have been completed as a standalone without unnecessary effects. In any case, it made for a thrilling experience and I can’t wait for more of these two.
I received a complementary copy in exchange for an honest review.
He hates me not is the second part of the Hate and Love Duet by Rina Kent and Isabella Starling.
This book reveals the final answers we’ve still had left from book 1 and it didn’t disappoint!
Even though I would have loved a deeper insight in Georginas past, the book was great either way!
We got a lot of their time in Italy and how the whole family dynamics are working in either their families. Jasper is planing his revenge for his enemies there and we learn some things about his upbringing in Sicily.
The couple’s chemistry is just phenomenal. I loved them from the beginning (even though Jasper is obviously crazy )!! I just love how he will do anything for her – in any way she wants and needs him to (even if she’s afraid to ask ).
This book is a must-read if you’ve already read the first book in this Duet! I can also recommend it to anyone who loves Mafia romances, dark romances and Rina Kent in general
He Hates Me Not is the second book of the Hate and love duet and is co-written by Rina Kent and Isabella Starling.
Right of the batch, I have to say the writing of this book compared to the first one is so much better. I did not once feel like two different authors have co-written this book. In terms of the storyline, everything went inflow and was coherent. I also have to appreciate the fact that the plot wasn’t stretched or exaggerated.
The story starts off where it was left in the first book. We get to know about Georgina who is the lost Costa’s heir and how her family is the reason for Alessio’s families’ death. Alessio who is stuck in the middle of avenging his family and is unable to understand his feelings for Georgina kidnaps her and takes her away from the States to Sicily (his home town).
Alessio is the dark captive who can’t hide from his feelings for Georgina. he protects her and the way his character redeems himself, in the end, was just perfect in my opinion. Georgina’s character goes through a Stockholm syndrome with all her feelings for Alessio. One part of her wants to escape him and figure her life out but the other part of her can’t seem to get enough on him. Alessio and Georgina are both in a dilemma trying to understand what they feel for each other and in the midst of a war against the Vitallos and the Costa’s, their relationship is nothing but forbidden.
Georgina and Alessio’s relationship had their chance to build up and grow and from there on the story just got better. Their relationship is intense, passionate, and with a whole lot of kink. Compared to the first book, the sex scenes in this book were just the right amount (not underwhelming or overwhelming) and I really think this was a perfect ending. Georgina and Alessio went through their ups and downs and were able to figure their way through their relationship.
Overall, this was a great read for me. This book was just perfect to end the couple and I was fully satisfied with their relationship. The pace was perfect, I was intrigued to read further, and I loved the whole concept and storyline of this duet. If you are a fan of stalker romance, Stockholm syndrome romance, and the whole submissive/ dominant concept then without a doubt this duet is made for you.
I hate to say that this sequel and conclusion did not quite live up to the the first book- which I rated 4 stars. I’d give this one a 3, maybe a 3.5 overall.
I still enjoyed the read and devoured it in one sitting, because I was so into Petal and Jasper (secretly Alessio’s) twisted, obsessive Romance. The first book was so focused on the intense connection between our characters- the stalking dynamic, Jasper’s darkness, Petal’s undiscovered kinks- and the formation of a deeply emotional and obsessive relationship full of trigger-inducing sexual proclivities. (Jasper is dark and wants to control and own, Petal likes kidnap and rape fantasies- they are perfectly matched- his creep matches her damage) Sure, we had some mysteries and some side plot, but the focus was on the relationship. That is what hooked me.
This second half of the duet is more plot focused- and as the authors work to have the time keep up with the events, we’re often faced with some fast passage of time and told, rather than see, the emotional impact that has on our characters. The relationship is still the core, of course, but the plot felt choppy and more action oriented than before- little snippets vs. a fluid evolution, and I found myself skimming parts about the Costa subplot- anytime our characters were apart I wasn’t as engaged and felt it was a bit too often. Shows how dynamic Rina and Isabella made these characters, though.
The book picks up right where the other left off- after the big discovery of both Jasper’s stalking and true nature AND Petal and Jasper’s prior connection and true backgrounds, putting them both in danger and Jasper at a crossroads- balancing his thirst for revenge with his desire to consume Petal. We see an even darker more controlling and disturbing turn in their relationship (enter even more dubious consent) where we lose the snippets of tenderness and protectiveness that permeated the darker aspects of their physical relationship in Book 1- now we just see Jasper controlling, punishing, and enslaving petal- and her mostly angry and miserable but still addicted. I had a hard time getting through this beginning- a little bit too cruel for my taste (I like dark, but I still want some sweet with my dark) and also the whole setting the stage for Jasper taking over his family’s business just wasn’t all that interesting. Fortunately, Jasper realizes he wants to consume and own Petal, but he doesn’t want to break and destroy her- he wants her fire, her joy, her spirit- which means he needs to bring the tender along with the kink, to let her be his queen vs. his object. THAT made the second half much better and much more consumable for me- and was much HOTTER (but the steam in the book is through the roof- although not quite as much as book 1).
This duet ends on a high note, though, I loved the last few chapters- and hit back on some themes from book 1- embracing your identity, the good and the bad, and accepting yourself for who you are- and in this second half, accepting your partner and what they need. Also MAD bonus points for a man who protects the cats. HOT HOT HOT. #catladyunity
FAIR WARNING- triggers abound in this. We have violence, dubious consent, rough fantasies, lots of kinks, the slut/slave concept, etc.
The second part of the duet starts out where book one finished up: this is not a standalone and to even understand what’s going on book one must be read first. Jasper has taken Georgie to Sicily and after everything that was revealed in book one he is now trying to figure out how to proceed. He knows what needs to happen, but knowing what needs to happen and making it happen are two different things. His obsession with Petal/Georgie may end up being his downfall. When it comes down to it, can Jasper avenge his family by ending the Costa line?
Boy what an ending we get in this story! This story is not for the faint of heart; there is soo much going on, violence, danger, hot and spicy moments that are of the BDSM variety. If you have any type of issues with heavy BDSM practices then this may not be the read for you. I personally really liked every ounce of the story, I do think that book two wasn’t as good as book one, but it was still good. I give this 4 stars.
Oh Jasper and Petal!! I loved their ending. I love how Jasper’s character grew and changed especially towards his Petal. Their chemistry is strong and their love stronger. Jasper is determined to keep Georgina with him at all costs, but now that she knows she has family she does’t want to be held captive. But how does she leave when her heart is not letting her go. Georgina is torn and fighting between her feelings and leaving Jasper behind. This book is HOTT and steamy and full of emotions and I loved it from the beginning to end.
I thought this book was better than book 1. There was more of a storyline outside of the dark sexual relationship between Jasper and Georgina. We get to see the story move along as both Jasper and Georgina come to terms with their true identity.
He Hates Me Not by Rina Kent and Isabella Starling is the twisted conclusion to Jasper and Georgiana’s fateful story! This story packed suspense, sex and dark emotions in a neat package of brilliant writing.
Jasper has recovered memory of his old life. And he is hell bent on taking vengeance on the murderer of his family. Aka father of his little pet. He is ready to destroy her body and break down her feisty heart till she has no life left. But things don’t always go according to plan. Georgiana is falling for her captor and her tormentor and her enemy. Who will win? Love, hate or death?
This story took so called moralities and social rules to the last limit and then some. The chemistry between Jasper and Georgiana is volatile and depraved. I found asking myself how can I love their twisted love. But there lies the genius of the authors. They turned something revolting to something captivating. This one has an action packed story line and it was interesting to watch the puzzle pieces fall into right places. This story has a part of dark mafia world bleeding into their twisted love story that added to the adrenaline rush. Jasper is still the cold hearted killer with no morality and endless cruelty. But Georgiana’s sweet yet strong heart changed him to the core.
He Hates Me Not by Isabella Starling and Rina Kent was an explosive, deviant and sinful stalker romance. A must read for any dark romance fan!

***4 “Be a good girl for me!!!” stars***
“My poor Petal doesn’t know that not only her fate, but her entire life was sealed.”
The second part of this dark and intense story was even more better than the previous one!!!
In here, after the first part’s ending with all those revelations, the game has changed for both our heroes…
From some kind of lovers, now they are mortal enemies, but Jasper as being the bossy and calculated Jasper that we all know, he took matters in his own hands… and it was delicious to see how things were unravelling.
At the same time, enemies are on their tail and the danger is lurking around the corner.
What will happen after all???
“I’ve learned early on to never be blindsided, even by my own self.
It was the only way to survive.”
“I’m a Costa and he’s a Vitallio.
There’s nothing that can erase those facts.”
Well, i guess that i can not tell you much about this book…
In the first part, Jasper was obsessed with Georgina and he became her creepy stalker and then, he just fulfilled all her wildest and dark fantasies!!!
But near the end, things had changed for both of them….
Because both of them are not who they thought they are and the things are getting complicated as time was passing by…
“She tries to fight me, to get away, but doesn’t she know that prey never escape once they’re caught?”
“He’s not only my tormentor but also my captor now. He’s a nightmare.”
At the present, Georgina in a way is a captive to Jasper’s house…
And Jasper has other plans for her, sinister but also very calculating plans!!!
Of course, their kinky side is not satiated as the time is passing by!!! I can say that these two in the sex part are getting more insatiable than ever!!!
But still… Jasper wants to ruin Georgina in every aspect and Georgina wants to run away from him. But does she really want that???
Well, things were complicated for once again!!!
“If she thinks she’ll escape me, then maybe my little Petal doesn’t know me so well after all.”
“He’s breaking my walls and reforming them.
He’s not only fucking my body, but also my soul. He’s making me his whether I like it or not.”
Well, i love Jasper!!! I told you that he was crazy and creepy, but oh my!!!! His madness is sooo appealing!!! Bahaha…
Of course, as a man, he was having this illusion that Georgina wasn’t something more for him!!!
And yes, he was needing a reality check, but hell… it was delicious to see him struggling with her hold on him…
From the other hand, Georgina was having the same illusions…
She was “hating” him for what he was doing to her, but at the same time, she was loving every single moment of it!!!
Bahaha…. Yep, these two were both crazy and they were fitting so good together!!!
“The longer she fights, the harder I’ll break her, and deep inside me, I don’t want to break her, not in that sense anyway.”
“I knew he’d consume me if I spent more time with him and that’s exactly what he’s done.”
This story started as a stalker story, but at the end, it became so much more and I enjoyed this turn of events very much!!!
Can’t wait to read more of these authors!!! Together and separately!!!
“Maybe the next time you see us, we’ll both reigning over your empire.”

Oh please stalk me, Jasper had the advantage over Georgina as soon as she ran hiding in the woods, as soon as he pressed the button the shock collar alerted him to her whereabouts, she was in Sicily now in his territory, would he be her saviour or her death, Rina Kent and Isabelle Starling together bring such a dark suspenseful story which makes you want to read quickly but it to never end, I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed this book.
SATISFACTORY ENDING TO THE DUET
“He Hates Me Not” is the second and concluding book to the “Hate & Love Duet” by Rina Kent and Isabella Starling. The story picks up right where book one ended, with Jasper remembering his real identity as the last heir to a powerful Italian mafia clan.
Jasper continues to obsess over Georgina and he will do whatever it takes to keep her by his side while he faces challenges between the two rival clans. I really love his uncontrollable desires for Georgina and yet he can be so sweet toward her at times. As he tried to steer them away from the inevitable war that is about to erupt between the two opposing families, I can’t help but root for Jasper all the way!
Georgina, on the other hand, is irritating me to no end in this book if i were to be honest. I think I find her to be very immature a lot of times and i wonder if she really deserves Jasper’s love. This might not be a popular opinion and I won’t say further so as not to spoil it for those who haven’t read the book, but this is 100% my feelings about the heroine after reading the book. Arrghhh!
Overall, the story flow is okay but I find that the whole story is kind of rushed. There isn’t any character building or intriguing plot development and I have to say the entire book was fairly predictable till the end. Honestly, that wasn’t something that I have come to expect from these two authors – well, I had expected more shocking plot twists coming from them. However, this could be due my heightened expectation since the first book was too good (and also due to the delay in the release date).
For those who have read the first book, this will be a quick read to a satisfactory conclusion to the duet.

An EPIC CONCLUSION!
This book shot off exactly where book 1 left us hanging, at full speed, and I don’t think it slowed down once.
Questions? Answered. Bad guys? Revealed. Love? It’s something for sure. Consuming, depraved, and a lot dirty.
I definitely enjoyed this.
As always with anything I’m reviewing, mind your triggers. This book is not for everyone.
. . .
He Hates Me Not is the conclusion to this captivating duet and it is a perfect combination of dark, suspenseful and a twistedly romantic read.
Since book one the chemistry between Georgina and Jasper was almost depraved but extremely hot.
In this book it was so interesting to see the characters battle with coming to terms with who they truly are.
The path this book took was something I didn’t expect but the writing from these two authors is so incredible, I wasn’t ready for it to end!
