A very good ending to this duet, a dark and brutal mafia / stalker / dirty erotic read that will push your boundaries reading it!!
Jasper was besotted with Georgina, he stalked her and took over her life, giving her all her dark and dirty fantasies he found her looking at on her laptop. But then it turned out that Georgina was actually the missing mafia princess he was supposed to be looking for, and his whole outlook on her changed, and he took her away to Sicily to be kept as his Pet. His determination to keep her knows no bounds, she hates him and wants to go home to her newly found out mafia father, a Costa, the family enemy of Jasper. Yet their hate and depravity cover the emotions and connection they have had since they knew each other as children and its quite a beautiful thing to watch them both come to terms with the fact that they do love one another and want to be with each other.
But there is still an ongoing mafia war between their two families and they very many issues to get over if they are going to be together with each other.
It was good to see the softer and more vulnerable side of Jasper and how his Petal brought this out of him, don’t get me wrong he is still starkly possessive and alpha and extremely kinky, but then he would stop and consider how what he was doing was going to affect his Petal. Georgina also grew a bit of backbone and was determined to stand up to Jasper along the way.
Plenty of drama, action, violence and twisted suspense to keep you on your toes, coupled with the very hot, passionate and very dirty kinky scenes that make this one a winner for me, but won’t be everyone’s cup of tea being a captive / captor type read.
Jasper can’t let Georgina go and Georgina can’t let go of her family but when enemies cross and family secrets are revealed can what they have change their past?
This book was definitely dark and sexy and definitely on the erotica side.
I loved everything about it even when i thought it was wrong but i couldn’t help it Jasper is a hate to love hero but by the end of this book i was madly in love with him and Georgina is one of the most intriguing heroines i read about we learn more of their past and their story and we definitely get way more involved in the story in this book for me it was a page turner and fun and dark. they had an amazing chemistry and the angst was real. it was heartbreaking i cried i smiled and i gasped and i loved the ending.
Favorite Quotes
“It’s an unhealthy obsession, I know, but aren’t all the best people flawed in some way? Aren’t we all imperfect somehow?”
“For some reason, those twenty years feel like lost time with her. Maybe that’s why I refuse to let her the fuck go.”
“My little Petal is soft where I’m hard. She’s kind where I’m a no-bullshit type of person.”
Rina Kent finished this duet with a bang! I loved Jasper & Georgina from the get go but this book nailed it for me! It is definitely my favorite between the two books.
Seeing Georgina go from being this girl who did what she needed to to get by and survive to living her fantasies and eventually taking what she wants was probably my favorite part of this duet. With the appearance of Jasper into her life, also comes the revelation that her dad is still alive and this opens up a whole new part of her that has never had the privilege of living. However, the one person she has begun to feel for more than any other threatens this new possibility of life that she’s just discovered….so she has to choose.
Jasper is the perfect example of a controlling, possessive alphahole, so if that’s your kind of Hero then this is a perfect read for you! Georgina captures Jasper’s attention immediately and no matter how hard he tries to let her go; he just can’t. She has embedded herself into his mind…and so much more.
This is book 2 of the Hate & Love Duet. If you have not read book 1 (He Hates Me), do it now then come back to this one!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Wow! What a ride this duet was. This is the second part in the Hate and Love Duet. It picks up straight after He Hates Me, and you are straight back in the thick of things, with Jasper and Georgina. These two characters are so explosive together. I was on the edge of my seat, needing to know what happened next…
Can Jasper keep Georgina safe? Will she except him for who he is? Who can Jasper trust?….
So much happens in this book, and don’t want to spoil it by giving anything away. You will have to read to find out…..Great book!
FIVE STALKER STARS for Georgina and Jasper !!!
WOW!!!
I don’t what to write but everything I wrote for “He Hates Me” the first book from this duet also goes for this book too.
After I’ve read “He Hate Me”, I wanted the next book at the same moment because cliffhanger was unexpected!
And now when I’ve read “He Hate Me Not” I can say only WOW!
“He Hates Me Not” is an extremely dark and mind-blowing book that will occupy your mind and for every page, you read, you’ll need more and more answers.
Georgina and Jasper’s relationship trough the whole duet is intense and pure fire.
I couldn’t get enough of them.
If you like the first book from this duet, you should definitely read this one!!!
Jasper is Everything!!! He Hates Me Not picks up right where book one left off, and you’re immediately consumed by their lust! Jasper and Gorgina are so explosive! Truths have been revealed and now the game has changed! This book was so intoxicating and Sexy and thrilling and emotional! This duet is a triple threat! It’s a Dark/Mafia/Stalker Romance, it’s absolutely to die for! I swallowed it whole and never wanted it to end! I loved these characters so hard! I loved the way jasper’s mind worked, it should probably scare you but all it did was send out pulses to my sadistic heart! I loved how possessive and how downright obsessed he was with Georgia. These two have such a hard and emotional back story, it really hits you right in the feels! I loved how their story played out, it was sad and rough but it was beautiful! Starling and Kent are two talented Queens of darkness and experts in mafia romance and sin! They really created a magnificent story and I hope they come together again in the future. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Fantastic! This is an excellent conclusion to Jasper and Georgina’s story. It picks up exactly where the other book left off. It has ended and I still want more… that’s how good this book is! I voluntarily read an arc of this book.
I’ve been dying to get my greedy hands on the conclusion to the Hate & Love Duet! Jasper Cain still takes the cake for my Most Darkest and Depraved Favourite Anti-Hero of 2020.
Jasper and his Petal pick up exactly where He Hates Me ended, secrets and betrayals had been exposed and someone has to pay the price for the lives that were stolen.
I devoured this book without coming up for air! I love me some Rina Kent!!
This is the second book ion the Hate & Love Duet, and the continuation of Jasper, and Georgina’s story. This book pics up right where book one let off, and the web of secrets, and lies is starting to unravel, and new twists, and turns are discovered. This was another great read in the duet, this was well written, the characters are fire, and their chemistry explodes off the pages. This was dark. depraved, steamy, intense, twisted, gritty, suspenseful, mysterious, dramatic, and emotional.
5 OUT OF 5 STARS FOR THIS MASTERPIECE
This book was absolutely beautiful- in every way. It tugged on my heart strings and made me melt! A great conclusion to the story.
Beautifully written by Rina Kent & Isabella Starling The story of Jasper and Petal in this book is very emotional and gripping. The storyline gets you hooked and leaves you wanting more.
I LOVED the fact that we got to see Jasper’s soft side in this book, and a vulnerable Petal. Their love was so strong, it made me cry at times. Absolutely brilliant! I was on the edge of my seat since the start, the love that these two characters share was beautiful to read and the build up was great.
One of my favorite duets ever written.

My Overall Ratings:
Hero- 5
Heroine- 5
Plot- 5
Steam- 5
Angst- 5
Chemistry between the main characters- 5
I loved this book so much. I was hooked in the first book in this duet and it was just even better. I really liked the characters a lot. Couldn’t put this down at all. These two authors did an absolute amazing job with this duet and kept you on edge the entire time needing more.
This second book in this duet picks up right were the first book left off. Jasper has taken Georgina to his home country. There is a lot of push and pull between Jasper and Georgina in this book and its more intense than the first book. Jasper is every bit the alpha male in this book and he wants what he wants no questions asked and he will do anything to get it. Georgina is just trying to find her place in this world. The chemistry between these two is so intense that its sexy at the same time. Both Jasper and Georgina both have to face some dangerous situations and overcome threats from other people while trying to discover their true feelings for each other. This book was a great conclusion to this duet.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
Now that Jasper Cain has discovered who Georgina really is how will he deal with her? Will he destroy her like he plans on doing to her Uncle Lucio Costa or will he use her as a pawn/toy until he gets tired of playing with her?
Can Georgina prove to Jasper that she is loyal to him after everything he has done to her? Will his infatuation with her ever give her the chance to escape?
This is such an amazing conclusion that was so dark and at times I was hoping something terrible was going to happen to Jasper but then he would show another side of himself that would lead me to trying to figure out what I really wanted to happen.
Jasper really was a complex character and that was due to how he grew up and then what he learned about his past and how everything tied together. In a way I wasn’t surprised when we learn about Jasper’s real family and what happened to them and who was responsible. I knew why he felt like Georgina needed to be punished but at the same time she was an innocent victim in all of this, regardless of who she really was. I was so mad at the sadistic things that Jasper would do to Georgina and at times my heart was breaking for her.
Georgina was an evolving character as she went through the different things from both book one and book two. I gave her credit for not giving up as there were a few times that I wondered how she was going to handle certain things. Georgina saw how much Jasper cared when he did what he did with her cats.
There were a few scenes where my jaw was on the ground and I was so mad at Lucio for seemingly knowing everything. I knew that there wasn’t anything that Lucio wouldn’t do which was shown by everything he did.
I knew why Jasper had so much revenge on his mind but I was shocked towards the end with a decision he made regarding Georgina. I knew why he had to do it but I was still surprised given everything that happened leading up to that point .
The big event at the end left my jaw on the ground and I was so shocked at what Jasper did and my heart seriously broke. I was so happy when Georgina made the decision that she did after receiving a letter.
Loved the end and the journey was so worth it!!
Thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the authors for allowing me to review this advance copy. I volunteered to leave an unbiased review.
This story picks up right where He Loves Me ended. The game is still on. The stakes are just as high if not higher and the push and pull between Jasper and Petal steps up a notch, if that’s possible.
Jasper is desperate not only for the revenge he wanted in the first book, but for Petal.
Petal is desperate to fight her growing desire for Jasper.
This story is VERY dark. Darker than I’m used to reading. But this author duo make even this subject matter so addictively readable I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want to.
I said this in my review for book 1 and I will repeat it: Heed the trigger warnings! This book is dark and fucked up, therefore not for everyone. Like with book one, some of the things that happened were not my kind of dark. I was mostly at the beginning though so once I got through that I was okay. But outside of some of the things that happened between them – and hey, everyone enjoys their own kinks so to each their own – I still enjoyed this book. The writing was excellent and made you feel the emotions with the charters. While sometimes I would be getting angry with Petal for how she was acting, I was able to feel her emotions and understand why she was doing certain things. Then there is jasper, who is sadistic in a hot way. I loved his possessiveness and how he battled with himself against his feelings.
I would also like to see spin-offs regarding the side characters. I found myself wanting to know more about Enzo and Angelo, as well as Petal’s friends.
I love He Hates Me Not! Kent and Starling wrote a perfect conclusion to Jasper and Georgina’s story. I loved He Hates Me but this one was even better.
He Hates Me Not was a rollercoaster of a ride. I never knew if I was going up or down, but I knew it was going to be dirty and hot AF. Jasper is still the same jerk he’s always been to start, but as the book went on I really started to see a change in him. His possessiveness and ownership of her changed. Although he still wanted to own her it shifted to owning and possessing her because she loved and wanted him. Their past and families play a much bigger part in this book and I loved it. Being from enemy families and having to pick sides broke them both. Georgina ran and Jasper did what he does best and hurt. Kent and Starling had me on the edge of my seat with this book. He Hates Me Not is full of steamy, action, and emotions. This is a quick fantastic read. Jasper and Petal are the perfect pair. Their kinks and fantasies go hand in hand, and her need for affection works with his obsession with her. 5 stars for Kent, Starling and the Hate & Love Duet all around.
This story picks up right where book one ends and the continuing story of Jasper and Georgina was just as consuming as the first. Jasper is the epitome of stalker and obsessed and Georgina is the one who’s on the end of that obsession. She is so light to his dark and I loved how in the conclusion to the duet you actually see him softening, which from book one I thought wouldn’t happen.
After reading the first book in this duology I was so excited to dive into book 2 and OMG I was so excited. Jasper and Georgina’s ( or should I say petal ) relationship deepened in this book, it wasnt just all dirty dirty hot sex between them, there was so much more and I loved that we were able to see that development in this story. Away from the romance, the other plotlines were just as engaging and omg there some scenes that left me my mouth wide open lol . Overall this was a fantastic ending but again this is Rina Kent and Isabella Starling book, we are talking about here , they give us nothing but fantastic stories. If your looking a sexy , dark , erotic , thrilling story with perfectly talored HEA then you need to read this series now!
He Hates Me Not by Rina Kent and Isabella Starling is a real treat for dark romance readers. The second part of Hate & Love Duet is even more consuming, steamy, and dangerous. Honestly, I have never read a book so fast before. I did not want it to end. The plot was fast-paced and action-packed. Everything clicked perfectly and I loved how the game and chase changed into stronger feelings.
Jasper and Georgina’s story was truly amazing, of course, a little disturbing, but in the end very satisfying. The authors went for broke and they succeed! I loved the second book more than the first one because besides of the amazing plot-twist the heroes were more open to themselves and expressed their needs. Jasper stole my heart, he was even more possessive and protective of Georgina. He was ruthless and yet very caring. And like Georgina, I become addicted to him. She showed her claws and challenged Jasper and found a place in his heart. (even her cats)
Hate & Love Duet is very dark and delicious. I loved how authors balanced Georgina and Jasper’s story with suspense, steam, and feelings. Both, the heroes were amazing and their journey to happiness was really unforgettable experience!
HOLY WOWWWW! What a stunning and epic conclusion to this duet. Jasper and Georgina were everything. Jasper completely OWNED my heart and soul and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Y’all get ready for one helluva sexy, wicked, heart-pounding, jaw-dropping ride that will leave you reeling for days after. These authors pulled no punches on anything. The depravity, the steam, the violence this book had it all! And the greedy side of me devoured every single word. This is one if the best dark stalker romance I have ever read!
