The writing of the story was good, but personally I struggled connecting with it. I felt it was 30% hot sex, 60% Pet conflicted with wanting Jasper but then wanting to leave, 10% maybe less of them actually being in love. Honestly while reading the story I felt bad for Jasper and had a hard time liking pet.
Loved that these two characters get their happy ending, but this second book felt a little dimmed down in comparison to the first book. An enjoyable read though.
This book was amazing. I love Isabella Starling and am never disappointed with her stories. This book is dark, angsty and keeps you reading from the very beginning.

4.5 Do you love stalker ?? Then you’re gonna love Jasper I really loved this duet, it has everything i like: obsession, passion, raw and deep love, secrets that keep you glued to the pages … And I also liked the whole “Romeo & Juliet” situation , but luckily we had an HEA here
He Hates Me Not is the second book in the Hate And Love Duet whose story started in the first book of the series entitled He Hates Me which should be read first. The second book picks up at the conclusion of the first novel and continues the story of Georgina/Petal and Alesso/Jasper. This fantastic and well written novel has amazing characters and a plot with revenge, secrets, unexpected twists, eroticism, and sizzling passion.

He Hates Me Not by Isabella Starling and Rina Kent is book Two in the Hate & Love Duet. This concludes the story of Jasper and Georgina, so you really need to read the first book ‘He Hates Me’ before starting this one. This book picks up with Georgina being taking again with Jasper being hurt but is fighting to find her. We learns some shocking things and feelings are coming forward between the two. This was a very action packed book and series. Loved it.
Whoa! After that mind-reeling revelation and ending of book one, He Hates Me Not continued where it left off. This book is filled with thrilling, action-packed moments, with steamy, twisted relationship/ chemistry of Jasper and Georgina that’s still fire as ever. However, this book gave off a new vibe- a modern day, mafia style Romeo and Juliet vibe with a very dark twist. These two had a one hell of a bumpy ride to their HEA- imbued in blood, heartaches and tears but truly worth it all in the end. What a perfect ending to this duet!
Epic conclusion to this duet! Petal shows her strengths in book two. She is resilient in many ways especially when dealing with Jasper and her Uncle. Her love for Jasper blossoms as we!l even though he is more than a handful.
Jasper is the one man that you want to hate but you also have to love. Book 2 shows a human side, even a man in love side that one could never imagine for him.
He Hates Me Not is super dark so please be aware, but still such a good read!
I love this duet! Its a definite twist. For a moment, it brought me back to the times you’d pick flower petals and say “he loves me, he loves me not.” In this case, he hates her not. However, thats not all. You have the danger; the mafia. You have the dirty; the sex. This book definitely have your typical mafia drama, so if you’re into that, I recommend a read!

This is an amazing finale to a great duet. It is dark, action packed, twist and turns and will keep you riveted on the edge of your seat!Jasper and Georgina will overcome so much to finally have an HEA and peace. Their romance is intense but the end justify the means ,

This is the epic conclusion to the Hate Love Duet. This second book picks up right where the first one left off. The chemistry between Jas and his Pet is off the charts. In this book it starts off Jas and his Petal in Italy as his “captive”. These are are so hot together. Jasper really understands what Georgina likes, wants and needs. There is just one thing after another that happens and it takes you on quite the ride. You must read book one to understand book two.

He Hates Me Not is book two of the Hate & Love Duet and a great conclusion to this dark and twisted story. This book is packed with danger, suspense, drama, violence, intrigue, steam, unexpected twists and an ending that is worth the read. I definitely recommend you read book one first to completely understand what’s going on. I can’t wait to read the next collaboration of this amazing author duo.
A steamy, suspenseful book that kept me on edge throughout the whole book
I couldn’t wait to pick up book 2 in the Hate and Love Duet! Jasper may have discovered his and Georgina’s past, but he still has to find himself in his old family home with Georgina as his captive and make plans for the future. Georgina just wants to go back home to meet the father she never knew, but can her life ever be the same without Jasper? Will Jasper’s battle to avenge his family’s deaths impact Georgina’s reunion with her father? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turn the last page.
A deliciously, steamy conclusion to this duet. Jasper is one very hot, claiming stalker who ticks all the boxes of a twisted, dark fantasy. Georgina may appear all prim and proper but she desires things devilishly dark that only Jasper can give her. While their inner and outer battles play out, it only makes you want to dash your way through the pages.
Sometimes books don’t quite meet our expectations and unfortunately for me book 2 of this duet did not. Not that it’s bad, I just wanted more. The first book grab me from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down. This book I couldn’t wait to finish because I just wanted to be over with. I like very dark reads, but this one wasn’t one of my favorites. I still enjoyed the book, but not as much as book 1. Do yourself a favor, both books are available on KU so with a subscription, you can read for free and see for yourself.

What an amazing way to end this series!!
This book is dark, dangerous, deep and intense with a lot of heat, passion and self exploration. This will take you on a wild ride that will leave you spinning when you get off!
This book will keep you up all night desperate to finish and pleading for it to not end ever. It is dark and amazing.

A satisfying conclusion for this duet that picked up right where the first book ended and the intensity of that cliffhanger carried over to the start of this book. Of course Georgie should be scared of Jasper, given the intensity of his obsession with her, but at the same time they seem to be kindred spirits with their for certain kinky things. The chemistry between them is all kinds of hot. There are still secrets that start to come to light that answer plenty of questions and I couldn’t wait to see how things would play out for these two.
This is the second book in the dark Mafia-stalker Love & Hate duet. He Hates Me has to be read first because this part of the story continues immediately where the first leaves off. This book feels different from the first-there is less push & pull between the characters as Georgina settles into her captivity. I liked Jasper in all his craziness, and Georgina had me stumped at times, not knowing what she wanted. The chemistry between them remains strong, and the story gets darker before the action hits its peak. I wanted to deal with Lucio myself! In all, I enjoyed it less than the first part but still a good read.
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
This is the intense conclusion of the duet. It’s filled with more gripping drama, intense heat and chemistry, dark and kinky . Twists and turns, backstory that gives you more of a glimpse into who they are, and who they are to each other. Dark, intense, secrets, and erotic, while being touched by the mafia. I won’t give anything away. You need to dive in for yourself
