The final instalment of the Hate & Love Duet was the perfect ending to Jasper and Georgina’s story. Jasper is equally as dark as he was in the first book and you’ll love to hate him. I really enjoyed the writing duo of these two amazing authors. He Hates Me Not by Isabella Starling and Rina Kent is a MUST read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Here I thought that He Hates Me was a massive book hangover, I wasn’t ready for the thrilling and epic conclusion to the Hate Love Duet. This book CANNOT be read as a standalone! You must read He Hates Me prior to diving into this.
Much like the first book in the duet, this book is dark and it will destroy everything you think you know. It will shred you into pieces. But unlike the first one, this one will piece you back together when it’s all said and done.
I am usually not huge on books as dark as this one. And there were times that I did flinch due to some of the graphic scenes it portrayed, but the intensity of the scene kept me there, regardless of what I wanted. You are drawn in completely, with disregard to what you like or what you don’t like. So if you don’t like intense dark with graphic scenes that you can literally see and feel while you read, this probably isn’t the book for you.
Just like with He Hates Me, you will hate Jasper just as much as you want to love him. He will mess with your mind, tie you up in knots and still cause you to want more from him. He is the quintessential kind of dark romance hero, but is he really a hero if he is also the source of your greatest pains? Or in this case, Georgina’s greatest pains?
Isabella and Rina weave their words together so masterfully that you know you can’t help but be impacted by every single part of this duet. I hope they work together more in the future because this duet was STELLAR!
Five stars for this intense dark stalker romance that will bring you to your knees, tear you apart, and then put you back together again.

I practically live for Rina Kent’s twists and turns!!
The long awaited conclusion to the hate and love duet is finally here!! this is the last book of jasper and Georgina ‘s story. However there was nothing much ”stalker-ish” about this book of the duet but the conclusion of the duet was pretty good according to me.
This book sure did not disappoint me. The major twist in this book was a bit shocker for me, I mean should have seen that coming , but somehow i did not and that really surprised me!
The books in enjoyable for all the kinky-romance and mafia-touch books lovers. The story line was good for me and the characters were perfect.
The only thing I disliked a bit was that , the heroine, at times was a bit of doormat and that really irritated me, Other than that I found no fault in this book and like all rina kent’s books, this one is also worth reading and enjoyable!
He Hates Me Not is the second book of Hate & Love Duet. You need to read the first book before this. We can read the story in present time, from Jasper & Georgina’s POV. I love this book more than the first. While I was reading I have some theories, but I’m on wrong way haha! It didn’t happen what I expected. It MUCH BETTER! I knew Jasper had a heart! I knew! However I wasn’t expecting Georgie’s actions. She was stronger than I thought.
He Hates Me Not is and exciting dark, stalker romance. I love it so much! You need to read it!
Hot damn
That was awesome!
Just as dark and dirty as the first part but it also had a super sweet ending. I love Jas and Pet, they are so perfect for each other.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!
I’m still in love with Jasper Cain – he is definitely my favourite character that Rina has created. He’s so dark AND I LOVE IT.
Once again, Jasper and Georgina’s chemistry is amazing and I absolutely love getting to see them develop throughout the duet – especially Jasper. This is because he is introduced as this cold-hearted killer but as you read on you see that everyone has a weakness – and is his case, it’s Georgina.
On top of everything else, it was steamy, hot, erotic and it turned me into a blubbering mess. Yes, yes I cried.
And I also have a thing for the ‘rival families’ trope – so yeah, that made it even more enjoyable to read.
I just love reading about Jasper and Georgina’s story and I really hope that we get to see them in some of Rina’s other books.
I’m definitely going to re-read this.
This book isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you enjoy twisted fuckery then I’d definitely recommend that you read this.

Scorching hot sequel!
Wow! What an awesome sequel to the terrific stalker/captive romance book He Hates Me. From the very start I loved the obsession Jasper has with Georgie (his “Petal” as he calls her). And the fact that he found out everything about her by stalking her, breaking into her apartment, lurking in the shadows, following her, watching her sleep. He was so very creepy. But in truth he seemed to be right up her alley with her kinks and the fantasies she had.
When Jasper finally let her know he existed in He Hates Me and they became intimate, he seemed to be perfect for her until she discovered how he had been stalking her for such a long time. That is when she got scared. Though there were forces at work that were stranger than either of them ever expected when they discovered they had known each other as children when they were living in and orphanage.
The opening scene in this book is after Jasper, who now knows he is Alessio Vitallio, has kidnapped Georgina to Italy and the scene seems all sorts of dark and depraved, but in reality he is fulfilling one of her fantasies and she admits later how much she loves it. The intimate scenes between these two are kinky and super steamy. I give this book a heat index of five out of five flames .
I really enjoyed how so many of the references in both of these books went back to their shared childhood even long before they discovered the fact that they were friends. Jasper from the first called Georgie his Petal like the daisies she used to pick apart when she was disguised as a four year old little boy Joseph and Jas was older and protected him. She would pull he petals asking if “he loves me” or “he loves me not“ referring to Jasper. Both kids needed each other back then when they had nobody else.
I don’t want to give to much away about this book, but though the romance is hot, Georgie is still a captive and no woman wants to be held anywhere against her will no matter how smokin’ hot the man you are with is. Also, Georgie is a Costa and Jasper is a Vitallio. The Costa’s murdered Jasper’s entire family and all their associates. Now Jasper is determined to get back at her father, Paulo and Lucio, not to mention to fact that Lucio still wants Paulo’s heir killed so he can take over the Costa family. So much to keep these two apart.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I was so intrigued by this story from the very beginning of book 1. This books took some twists and turns that i didn’t see coming which I always enjoy in a book. This book was dark and deliciously twisted and I truly enjoyed Georgina and Jasper’s story.

Amazing ending to a great duet. This was a dark, twisted and utterly awesome book. I loved it!
I can highly recommend it!
He Hates Me Not is book 2 in the duet series. It starts off where book 1 ended with Jasper kidnapping Georgina, Petal, and taking her to Sicily, his home. She is his captive but her feelings are being tested everyday. She finds out who her father is and that he is alive, so she yearns to escape and go to him. During her time in Sicily she has learned Italian and made a couple of friends but she still wanted to escape and find her father.
Through all the betrayal, the need for revenge and this love/hate relationship Jasper and Petal long for each other. It is a love that started when they were kids and grew more when they were united many years later. It was fate that brought them together and love that brought them together for the 3rd and last time. They belong with each other and Petal finally realized that after Jasper admitted his true feelings. This is a story that contains pain, revenge, betrayal, suspense, murder and of course a dark twisted love. These two authors did an excellent job incorporating all of this into a book and keeping the reader intrigued and wanting more. I received this book as an ARC copy and I want disappointed.
Isabella Starling and Rina Kent deliver the perfect ending I wished for He Hates Me Not! We get more twists and turns and fantastically enthralling writing form this duo and I ate it all right up!
Georgina and Jasper got hotter. They chemistry sizzled with throughout every single page electrifying the story and leaving me fully amped once I was done reading. These two were such a freaking amazing couple. I loved seeing them get their HEA after the wild, but wholly satisfying, ride that is the Hate and Love duet.
Love and lust, suspense and romance, hate and need and some freaking epic writing made He Hates Me Not one stellar, not to be missed read! Dying for more from this writing duo. 5 stars.
The Hate & Love duet finally releases its conclusion with He Hates Me Not. Jasper and his Petal encounter much bigger roadblocks than they do in book 1 and it definitely ups the stakes.
I loved these two, especially in book 1. I really fell for Jasper and Petal, even through all the craziness that is Jas. However, book 2 did not live up to the relationship that book 1 Jas and Petal had. Book 2 is much more focused on wrapping up the veiled plot from book 1 and I think something about these two became less believable. I really enjoyed the first 25% as well as the last 25% percents of the book. The ending was particularly sweet to read and I loved how the relationship emulated what it was like in book 1.
Jasper is ever so possessive and sinfully delicious and rough. I wish I got a bit more of Petal as her own person, rather than Jasper’s Petal or her father’s daughter. Overall, these two get the HEA that they needed/wanted and I was definitely here for it.

4 Stars!!
From the second that I reached the end of He Hates Me I started counting down the days until book two! I absolutely had to find out what was going to happen next in this story! I picked it up the second that it landed on my kindle and I was glued to it from that point on.
It felt like no time had passed since I reached the end of book one to when I started book two which I loved! This world and it’s characters once again got into my mind and didn’t let go!
This second book in Georgina and Jasper’s journey was so addictive just like the first one! I wasn’t sure which direction their story was going to go in next and there was no way that I was going to put down my kindle until I reached the end!
This one hit me right the chest with every page turn and I couldn’t get enough of how I felt every bit of this story!
With He Hates Me Not, Ms.Kent and Ms.Starling brought the feels with this dark continuation! The Hate & Love Duet is unforgettable! I so hope that these two join forces again in the future!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wildfire Marketing Solutions / the authors*
A great conclusion to this love story. I generally have to be in a certain mood to be able to dive into dark romance stories. This is one of those books that definitely pushes my dark romance loving buttons.
What I love about this story was how their relationship progressed from something perverse, into something I was rooting for. These authors made me believe that even the most profoundly dark characters are worthy of love. And that’s not always an easy thing to do! Yes, there’s lots and lots of boundary pushing intimate scenes, but this is one of those books that has me realizing that maybe there truly is a special someone for everyone or there who “gets” them.
The darkness continued with the second part of this mouth watering duet.
I was captivated throughout the whole dark experience. You’re taken to a whole nother place when you get trapped in Rina Kents novels, and this duet with Isabella Starling really made it utterly captivating.
Another amazing duet brought up from the ashes of a broken romance, I never saw this book going the way it did but I loved where it went and I never expected the ending but… well you’ll have to read and find out 😉
This is the second book in this series and picks up right where the first one left off. This one continues with the suspense, intrigue, drama, excitement and twists and turns that the first one provided us.
Georgina, or Petal as Jasper calls her, is captive in Sicily with Jasper, or Alessio Vitallio, as her captor and at times tormentor. She is living a boring life captive in his home. She wants to go back home to her life but Jasper wont let her.
Things continue to grow between these two. There are feelings between these two that are getting stronger the longer they are together. Jasper ends up going back home and something happens to him. Petal takes off and also ends up back home with her father. That is when everything changes. This storyline blew me out of the water. I was not thinking that this is how this one was going to go. I was pleasantly surprised with how this one was written. I absolutely loved this ending to this duet. Rina and Isabella wrote an amazing duet that was intriguing, full of suspense, twists and turns and had me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend reading this one.
The conclusion we’ve all been waiting for!
4.5 Stars
I loved this series right from the start. The darkness, the fire and uncontrolled passion is everything but I did find the conclusion a little too quick for my liking. I found that when things started to come together it happened all at once. Like one big bang and then done.
Don’t get me wrong I devoured this conclusion and definitely recommend it, but I just feel like towards the end it was a little rushed and missing that something to keep my attention.
You know that feeling you get when your reading a remarkable book and you hate that it’s the end of the line because you love it so much ? Well these two authors hit the nail on the head with this duet.I’m hoping maybe in the future we can read another book about the continued lives of Jasper and Georgina and their family ties. I applaud you and would give you more than 5 stars if I could on a excellent duet.

You guys I have been dying for this book since that cliffy from book 1, and I am here to say that I was not disappointed. This story pulls zero punches taking you into the depths of this dark and dirty world. Jasper and Georgina’s journey is not for the faint of heart, it gets dark and twisted, but you can feel their connection all the way through. It never wavers it only gets stronger as the story plays out and new revelations come to light.
’ ’ — , . . ..
Jasper and Georgina do not have a conventional love, obviously, if you’ve read book 1 you know that. But it’s that unconventional feel to their romance that makes it so much better. You live for their push and pull, it’s intense and oh so dirty. But it’s the bond that you can feel between them that really sets this apart. Did they come together in a more rudimentary way? No. Does that mean their romance is wrong? No. These two have this visceral connection for each other that you can’t deny and it’s that relationship that flows through the story, even as things come to light and decisions are made, it’s still there pulsing like a heartbeat throughout.
“ , ,” , . ’ ’ — . “’ . ?”
I simply could not get enough of this story, reading it cover to cover in one sitting. From the moment you open it, it starts out running taking off right where book 1 left off and doesn’t stop until the last page! Rina and Isabella, have you completely at their mercy from the moment you open its pages, this story will dig deep into your soul reaching parts you weren’t even aware of making all your dirty twisted fantasies come true!!!! These ladies have crafted a deviously delightful tale that will leave you on the edge of your seat waiting desperately to see what’s going to happen next, and I loved every single second. Sign me up for every single collaboration between these two because it sure to be pure devilish delight.
Mehhhh. This was the second and final book in the duet and I wasn’t impressed by it. Georgina kept going back and forth with if she liked or didn’t like what Jasper was doing to her. She wanted to leave but then cried about having to stay. Just fucking figure it out already, damn.
And Jasper… he turned into a real prick for 75% of the book. I was fine with how he was in the first book but now? No.
I don’t know… I didn’t know this would be a mafia type of book from the description that I read. I’m not really into mafia romances so maybe it was just me? Who knows.
