Hayden’s Timbre
Amazing!! Perfectly beautiful! You can’t get much sweeter than the tough on the outside, soft on the inside rocker named Hayden. While he has some crazy, literally crazy, skeletons in his closet that leads to one amazing story. For so long he put his son first ahead of everything and now it’s time for Dad to have his time.
Meeting Timbre turns out to be the best thing for him regardless of the way they meet. Timbre who is going through an extremely hard time in life has to learn to accept the help of others to pull herself back up.
Mixing a hot rocker, single dad with a stubborn down on her luck woman is going to explosive. Finn really weaved a beautiful tale that kept you wound up until the very end!!

Hayden’s Timbre is a companion novel to the Assured Distraction series and if you loved the guys from AD you would have wanted more of Hayden. Thrown into fatherhood at 18 and the life he thought he had planned out being totally turned around with the birth of his son Crew, Hayden did what he did best and that was make the best of what life had dealt him. Fast forward on 12 years and this man had put his personal life on hold for the most important person in his life, his son. That is until some unexpected meetings between Timbre and Hayden have him wanting more for both himself and Crew. These three take us on a roller coaster of a ride as life changes throw all of them for a loop but it might just be the youngest one of them all to work it out quicker. Their story is about not only love but family and the importance to it even if family is not blood. Hayden’s Timbre will have you gripped and addicted with no hint of distraction. Their story is drama and action packed with some seriously hot and steamy scenes that will have you totally fulfilled and content.
One bad day leads to more and has a domino effect. When life hits a wall and goes completely sideways on her Timbre isn’t ready for the results. When Hayden meets and then later finds out about the crap storm that hit Timbre he makes it his mission to help the lady who won’t leave his mind. A great story with characters that make you want to learn more.
I didn’t read the Assured Distraction series but I did enjoy reading this book which is a spin off of the series. Since it is a standalone it wasn’t needed, even with the carryover characters and story since it was all filled in. I love the book with the added suspense.
This story is not only Hayden and Timbre’s story but also Crew’s as well. This kid had me cracking up throughout the book. We got an idea about Hayden and his life in the AD series but here is where we get to go deeper and learn all about the passionate and caring man and father he is. The way Hayden and Timbre first become aquatinted with one another is not the best of ways but everything happens for a reason right?. Hayden goes through a string of bad luck but she is one determined woman and nothing can stop her from achieving her goals. Hayden has a heart of gold and has everyone’s best interest at heart always, he’s upfront and honest with Crew and I love their conversations because he doesn’t ever lie to him. Crew being mature and rather intuitive makes some of the conversations that much more interesting. Things occur that I never saw coming and through me for a loop and WOW it just added to the story that needed to be to told, we needed to hear it. Even though Hayden technically is not part of the AD band he’s part of their family and this was such a wonderful way to close the series. I could say so much more but I don’t want to give any spoilers. This is a must read. Well done once again Thia Finn. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
