Hawke is shocked to find that he’s inherited the art museum his father had owned. He thought his father would take his riches to his grave, but he has given Hawke another chance at life. It’s about time he grasped it; he always harbored the opinion that anything could be a canvas.Despite being out of his depth, Hawke is ready to make some changes as he meets his new staff – particularly the … the elusive Jenna Camden. She has fought through blood, sweat, sacrificed, and tears to get the management position in the museum. She speaks her mind – and her sharp-whip intelligence staggers Hawke.
A wager is drawn up between them, which will make the difference between business and pleasure. If he loses, he must step back and run the museum-like his late father had done. The museum is under new management – and Hawke is not one to have his authority challenged. The more Hawke gets close to Jenna, the more he wants to paint her sculpted body with sinful shades. Will they yield to the temptation, or will it be another easel fallen off the stand?
Publisher’s Note: This is a steamy and sexy bad boy bachelor romance with a HEA and can be read alone.

Hawke is an unexpected treasure. Just the opening few pages tells you that this is not going to be the typical bad boy story. It is a story of love that goes beyond a man and women. It is the love of a family.
This is the first book I have read from Nikki Rider, but I am looking forward to many more of her stories.

This is book 1 that is the start to what looks like an interesting read, by an author who is new to me. I enjoyed the plot and the author’s writing style. The characters are likable, have some depth and some funny dialogue as they view art from a slightly different viewpoint. A good book to be introduced to this author.

Two unique artists brought together under unusual circumstances but find more than either expected
Hawke by Nikki Riker is a really well written debut book. I had not known what to expect from this new author but I enjoyed the her writing style and ability to create well developed characters that you can believe and a story-line that for the most part is pretty realistic. Sure there were a few rougher parts to the story but the editing was quite good and the proofreading was better than some established authors so this was a real nice treat.
The story of Hawke and Jenna is fun and interesting. They each have their own strong identities and thoughts on what they want to do. There are some clashes and good banter between them but there is also a lot of chemistry that is just bubbling under the surface and once it explodes then all bets are off for these two.
If the next books in the Miles Brothers series are anything like Hawke then I will definitely be reading these also. I would recommend Hawke to any reader that likes a bit of drama, some twists and turns, chemistry and a some fun all rolled into an engaging and entertaining story.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

The first book in the Miles Brothers Romance series and I know I will be reading the next book. A well written story that kept me turning pages. Jenna Camden and Hawke Miles have a lot to go through before they get their happy ending, the worst is her Mother. I enjoyed reading their story. This is book one in the Miles Brothers series. Hawk is not holding his breath at receiving anything from his now deceased father. He figures that his father will take all his riches with him to the grave than leave them to him. Hawk is shocked to find out that he is wrong. He has the Art Museum. Can Hawk make a second shot work for him? He had plans but those plans are challenged by the current manager of the place, Jenna. Jenna is a woman that is upfront and honest and speaks her mind. She is not going to hold back when it comes to the new owner. The only way for these two to coexist it seems is to make a wager. If Hawk loses, it is not in him to lose, Jenba keeps running the museum as it is. If Jenna loses, he gets a date with her Simply enough but the chemistry between these two is taking its toll. Does the wager play out and a winner crowned or does it fall to the way side as lust takes over? Definitely interested in reading the next book in the series. Enjoy!

This is the first book in the Miles Brothers Series by Nikki Riker. This is Hawke and Jenna’s story. It’s a fast-paced book with enjoyable characters. The book is well written and to story flows. I really liked this book and have already downloaded the next book in the series to my kindle.
The Miles Brother’s father passes away from cancer and leaves his art gallery to Hawke. Jenna is the manager of the gallery and not at all happy that the gallery has been left to Hawke. A bet is made, if Hawke wins Jenna goes on a date with him and if Jenna wins Hawke has to leave the running of the gallery to Jenna. Hawke has some insecurity issues to work out (don’t we all) and Jenna hasn’t quite figured out how to say no to her very controlling mother.

This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it immensely the story line flowed well I became connected to the characters and it kept me engaged until the very last page and what more can you want from a book than that
Jenna a dancer whom was injured has been managing an art gallery for the senior Mr Miles she loves the job as he basically leaves her alone and lets her do what she wants. Now he has died of cancer and Jenna has a new boss his son Hawke will he let her manage her way or will he try to take over. Hawk is a graffiti artist who enjoys spreading his art all over the streets When he meets Jenna he is interested and a bet is laid if he wins she will go out on a date with him if she wins she gets to run the gallery her way. Who will win and will these two damaged people realise what is actually between them and let their walls down enough to connect You will have to read to see
The first book in the Miles Brothers series brings Hawke and Jenna’s story. The author brings an entertaining story with strong characters, gives them a a hot chemistry and throws in just enough drama, fun and romance to keep things interesting as they work through their issues. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading. I’m looking forward to the next book.
