From USA Today Best-Selling Author Daphne Loveling:HAWKI lost everything years ago. My brother. My family. Everything that ever meant anything to me.Now the Lords of Carnage are my life. Anything I need, the club provides. Anything else is unimportant. At least, that’s what I tell myself until I meet Samantha Jennings. She stirs something inside me I haven’t felt for years. Back when I had hope. … inside me I haven’t felt for years. Back when I had hope. Back when I thought life would give you what you asked for if you wanted it bad enough.
Wanting is dangerous. I’ve learned that lesson. But when I look in those deep brown eyes, I want Samantha. I want to possess every inch of her body — to hear her call my name when she loses herself in pleasure.
If I was smart, I’d push her the hell away. Do anything to make her hate me.
But I know I won’t. I’ll never stop until I have her. Even if it destroys us both.
SAMANTHA
I first saw Hawk McCullough from behind the safety of a camera lens.
I try to be invisible when I’m working to capture a moment in a photo. But the way Hawk’s eyes locked onto mine, like the lens wasn’t even there — I was exposed. They burned into me. Possessing me. Claiming me as his.
I can tell from the look in his eyes he’s damaged. Ruthless. A predator.
I should run far away from him. But I know it’s too late. I’m already his prey.
HAWK is a scorching-hot, completely stand-alone romance. It’s also the second book in the new Lords of Carnage MC series. HAWK has NO cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA You’ll fall in love with Hawk and Samantha. Guaranteed..

Lords of Carnage men are sexy, protective and charming. Hawk and Samantha have chemistry. Enjoyed the journey they took to find what they were looking for. Great Story!
This book continues where Ghost left off and when Sam meets Hawk she knows he is dangerous. Hawk can’t seem to get the hot photographer off his mind. But with a war starting with a rival MC he knows he should push her away but for some reason he just can’t. I love this series, after reading Ghost I couldn’t wait to read more in this series. Great characters and a story that just sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down.
Hawk is book two in the Lords of Carnage series. Hawk and Samantha have chemistry from their first meet. A good book and great story. Not a lot of relationship drama which I can appreciate, but plenty of MC drama which makes for good action. Add in a crazy grandmother and a cutie little boy. I really enjoyed reading this one. On to the next in the series.
All her books are great.
Hawk is book two from Loveling’s Lords of Carnage Series. This can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading Ghost first to get a better understanding of storyline and characters. Hawk is one sexy male lead who rides a Harley, plays guitar and is a tattooed bad boy. Samantha is a good girl, who has come to town to live with her grandmother after an awful break up. Sam and Hawk will meet and sparks will fly. Hawk is my favorite Lord so far.
Overall I enjoyed reading Sam and Hawk’s story and I can not wait to see who is next.. Happy Reading!!
Absolutely a great book. Love his authors style of writing. She has a way of pulling you into the storyline and you become part of the book. Such vivid details. Love the connection between Hawk and Samantha. Hot sexy and romance. Great book 2 in the series. Each book can be read separately. Must have.
I voluntarily reviewed this advance reader copy of this book.
I’m really loving this series, enjoyed Hawk and Samatha’s story, I also enjoyed 1. All the characters 2. The edgy suspense of the Club dealings 3. Cliffhangers knowing the rival MC will be in the next book installment (hopefully) 4. The shady mayor and the Clubs President has me thinking..hmm.
I dove right into book two when I finished Ghost. I loved the sweet wedding between Ghost and Jenna and also enjoyed meeting Sam, the photographer that has come to Tanner Springs. I like the instant attraction between her and Hawk and also liked the vulnerable side of him when he’s playing the guitar at the wedding. Sam is tough, having gone through a horrible break up, but she doesn’t let that get her down. Hawk has a past too and I like how he was a bit of a mystery. More secrets are revealed in this one, giving more clues as to who is out to get the Lords of Carnage. I still have my suspicions about who to trust and who not to trust and can’t wait to read more in this series!
Hawk is book two in this series and it starts at Jenna and Ghost’s wedding. Jenna is the photographer and her eyes clash with Hawk as the ceremony starts. There is a spark but Hawk is determined to stay away, but the pull is strong, maybe too strong!
In amongst all this, a rival MC is trying to make things extremely difficult for the Lords. Things could go to hell in a hand basket in a second! That thread through the books is keeping me on the edge if my seat!! That and the chemistry between these alpha men and the women that catch their eye!!
I really enjoyed this second book in the Lord of Carnage MC series. I thought Hawk was such a laid back dude, I really liked his personality, and his teasing nature with Samantha. Samantha is a photographer who becomes a client of Jenna and Ghost at their wedding. She is new to town and trying to get her business up and running, She moved in to her grandma’s carriage house to try and be closer to her.
I thought the story was a bit slow at the beginning at around half way it picked up and held my attention. I liked that this story had a lot more MC action, and it was suspenseful. Hawk was a so great and the ending , was so freaking sweet. I fell a little more for him. Looking forward to Angel’s story. I gladly read this ARC for my thoughts
