Keyes Dixon’s life is challenging enough as a full patch member of the Disciples of Havoc Motorcycle Club but being a gay biker leaves him traveling down one tough road. With an abusive past and his vow to the club cementing his future, he doesn’t believe in love and steers clear of commitment. But a midnight ride leads to a chance meeting with a sexy distraction that has him going down quicker … quicker than a Harley on ice.
Cocky Assistant District Attorney Alec Pierce lives in the shadow of his politically connected family. A life of privilege doesn’t equal a life of love, a fact made obvious at every family gathering. Driven yet lonely, Alec yields to his family’s demands for his career path, hoping for the acceptance he craves. Until he meets a gorgeous biker who tips the scales in the favor of truth and he can no longer live a lie.
Can two men from completely different worlds…and sides of the law…find common ground, or will all their desires only wreak Havoc?
While Havoc is a stand-alone with no cliffhanger, the story continues March 5, 2019.

I am lost for words right about now…how did I not expect this book to end like it did… I’m dying here.
This is again an amazing read by Kindle Alexander. I can’t explain how much I love these two men. Never have I ever read a story where the saying opposites attract is more true. You can’t help but fall in love with Keyes. You could feel his frustration with how his life is going. And all I wanted to do was wrap him up in my arms and tell him it will all be ok. Cue Alec and his need to keep Keyes close and happy. I loved his forwardness with his wants where Keyes was concerned.
Now I’m sitting here contemplating how in the world will I survive till book 2 comes out so I can see how much more are these men gonna have to suffer before finding their HEA.

I have learned that a book by Kindle Alexander is either a hit or miss with me. And, I’m sorry to say that Havoc was a miss.
I didn’t read the blurb, so I went in completely blind. I just knew I wanted to read it, because it was a new book by this author.
And I was surprised when I got to the end of the book..learning that I have to wait for book 2 to get to know what will happen to the two main characters..
I thought the book was well written, however the story was a bit tedious at times. It did take some time before I got into the story.
I felt the story was drawn out, I didn’t like any of the side characters..even the main character’s friends was horrible.

I loved Havoc, what a great start to a series, Tattoos and Ties, that appears to be about Key and Alec. I loved this first book, where we slowly get to know Key and Alec, I definitely think there’s lots to tell. I might have even read that on FB. There were so many great descriptions, especially Keyes’ tattoos and I could definitely imagine where the story was taking place. The story had lots of interesting secondary characters as well. Havoc was hot, sexy and fun to read. I love big books, and I think this series will be nice and long, but this is a HFN ending, which I don’t mind. I was panicking a little when I realized there was too much left and not enough pages, so I was glad to know there’s going to be lots more. I definitely recommend this story.
I was given an arc for a honest review.
I loved this book! Let’s start with the cover. I have read alot of books where the cover doesn’t match the description of the character. Not this time, That yummy guy was definitely Keyes. Keyes was in a biker club that skirted on the wrong side of the law. A late night encounter brings Alec a lawyer who works in the DA’s office into his life. If you want to read about the sparks flying with these two then you need to buy the book! The editing was on point. It was a captivating storyline and a good start to the Tattoos and Ties series!
Havoc is book one in the Tattoos and Ties Duet by Kindle Alexander. I’ve had this duet on my tbr list for a long time and finally decided to jump in. I love the cover of this book so much and definitely used it as a muse while reading.
Keyes (Key) Dixon is twenty seven years old and is a member of the Disciples of Havoc Motorcycle Club in Dallas, Texas. Key, who has always known he was gay, grew up with an abusive dad who is also a member of the club. He’s been on his own since he was sixteen but when his father had health problems, he moved back home to care for him out of duty to his club. He spends seven days a week working at his dad’s tire shop. His life is one cold day after another, working in the shop all day and living with a man who can’t stand him. Key doesn’t do relationships, never has. Only has the occasional hook up. The only time he truly feels at peace is on his bike. It’s on one particular late night ride when he meets him, a man who stole his breath away. The most beautiful man he’s ever seen. The man who would change his life.
Alec Pierce is twenty nine years old and works as an assistant District Attorney for the Dallas area. Alec has also always known he was gay. He grew up privileged but without love. He was an embarrassment to his family. His father has always had high political motivations and now Alec’s sexual preferences can be a positive addition to his career. So his father has planned out Alec’s career to give more weight to his own motivations. Alec sees this as acceptance from his dad, a way to be accepted as part of the family. But on that night, when a tatted up man wearing leather came upon his broken down car on a deserted road, he saw another future for himself.
The District Attorney has it in for Havoc. Even though Alec isn’t involved, there is no way that any contact between he and one of the club members would be viewed favorably at work. And for Key, if he started anything with Alec, and his club members found out, it would be the end of him. They both try to do the right thing, but the choice is not in their hands. They just can’t stay away from each other. Which surprises them both because they couldn’t be more different. Or are they really?
“Their backgrounds were as different as day and night, but they couldn’t be a better fit.”
I loved this book. I love BOTH of these men! They both had been hurt by the people that were supposed to love them the most. I loved how they affected each other, providing something neither of them had ever experienced before. Just that peace, that sense of belonging. I just had a feeling I was going to love this book and I definitely did. I’m immediately going on to the next and final book, Order. I have to see what’s next for these guys!
I liked this start to a new series with it’s opposites attract couple. This author is always a pleasure to read and a one click for me
The blurb is simply great. But… that’s about the only thing great about this book. Oh no, wait. I did really enjoy the cover picture. To be honest, that ripped torso was definitely one of the reasons I decided to read Havoc in the first place. And I was in the mood for som M/M. 🙂
This is the first time I’ve read anything by Kindle Alexander (that has to be a pen name, right?) but Alexander has published several more novels. That’s not the impression you get when reading Havoc though. The beginning of the story has all the telltale signs of an unskilled writer. The characters are simplistic and rudimentary, their emotions are too forceful to be anything but personality caricatures. Also, Alexander tries to cram all background information into the first chapter which is truly the hallmark of bad writing. Forcing the backstory is always a bad idea. It’s always stilted and unnatural and instead of achieving what the author wants – namely all the info needed for the ”real” story to begin – the readers will notice and reflect on writing style instead of the content. So, yeah. Not a good beginning.
But then it should get better after that right? Yeah… no. It doesn’t. Beacuse nothing happens. Sure, Keyes and Alec fight their attraction for a while before starting to bone. But nothing of what you’d assume could happen actually does. Keyes’ motorcycle buddies don’t find out about his DA lover, Alec’s stuck up family don’t get to learn that he has a trashy biker boyfriend. Alec’s boss doesn’t discover that he’s involved with a member of the gang that she so detests. There aren’t even a close call.
The only thing that happens is the emotional back and forth of both Keyes and Alec when they’re unsure of the other guy’s feelings and when halfheartedly trying to dissuade themselves from having a relationship with someone so unsuitable.
And there are some nudy scenes. Nothing to write home about though.
So I wont be picking up anything else by Kindle Alexander, I’m quite sure.

My first ever biker romance, so I don’t have a frame of reference to go by, but Havoc was an enjoyable read with some characters I loved and others I wanted to hit in the face with a cast-iron frypan (who knew, right?), which of course speaks to Kindle’s talent as a writer.
This is my first encounter with Kindle Alexander but it definitely will not be my last! This M/M romance is hot and played on my emotions. Key is a brother in the Disciples of Havoc MC. Alex is an attorney working in DA office. They both have histories of broken family relations that have made them the men they are. Their chemistry is so hot I thought my kindle might ignite! The ending was a little dissapointing… but it is a duet so I shouldn’t be surprised. Looking forward to the rest of their story.
This was my first time reading a Kindle Alexander book and it was wonderful. I really enjoyed the storyline of an MC guy and and an ADA hooking up.
The characters Keyes and Alec really yank on your heart. Keyes doesn’t think he’s good enough for Alec because he doesn’t come from money and all he has is his club.
They have a lot of obstacles due to no communication because of their lifestyles. They have to keep everything in secret.
I really enjoyed this book because it took a situation and love that seemed impossible and made it possible even if it was just for the two people involved.
This book is a cliffhanger so you will have the next one but that made it perfect too because it kept you wanting more just like the entire book. – By Kristina
What a emotionally read! The secrets, the tension, the connection and the growinf love between Key and Alex is evident from the first meeting ….desperately waiting for Order!
Keyes is a member of an mc and gay. His father won’t accept his sexuality and belittles him. Alec is trapped into a political future because he wants to please his family. They also don’t accept Alec’s sexuality. Keyes and Alec meet and sparks fly between them. Alec goes after Keyes even though both are from different worlds. A good read to be continued in the next book.
A classic tale of cross-lovers but what a twist it spins….
We have two strong characters unknowingly/subconsciously doing things to seek approval and acceptance from their family, even if one doesn’t want to admit that deep down he is doing that. Two strong, independent men, who have been shunned(alienated in the case of one) by their family because of who they are. Their lifestyles may be total opposites, but both are hurting because they cannot be truly themselves in front of the people who are suppose to accept and love them unconditionally. I love how, despite the differences, both Keyes and Alec are open to the attraction that they feel for each other, even from the start, and once they got through all the “thinking it through” part. We have two smart men who, once they started talking, began to get to know each other like normal people do, without boundaries and status, they started to learn about each other, and although they may be from different worlds, basically, underneath all the status and labels, they are just two lonely people who crave for love and acceptance.
The love scenes are amazingly HOT, HOT, HOT! In every one of these lovely scenes, how it played out and the way it was written is just so AMAZING, you can vividly see and feel everything. Ms. Kindle Alexander, this is one of the most erotic (for the love scenes) novels I have ever read. This is another confirmation of the masterful way you write your stories, and I have read all your stories. CONGRATULATIONS on another bestseller, can’t wait and see the continuation of Keyes and Alec’s love story. Can it come any sooner, please?
A CLIFFHANGER! REALLY! AHHHHHHHH! You mean I have to wait until next year to find out if Key and Alec and make it work? What I really can’t wait to see is for Alec’s date to get a beat down. Please say I get that in the next book! Pleeeeessse!!!
A book that will cause Havoc in your life because nothing will get down until you are done with reading it!
Alec and Key come from two different worlds but when they come together, the sparks fly. Key has some serious insecurities. He sees that Alec has money and doesn’t understand why he’d want to be with him. This goes on for most of the book. Key comes from the bike world, which is something Alec knows very little about. Both characters have their family issues that I’m hoping in the next book they stand up and take care of. This book will leave you wanting more..This was a good start of the book, i can’t wait to read the next book!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
Keyes is a fully fledged patched member of the Disciples of Havoc club. Alec is a member of the DA’s team who seems to have it out for the club. Can the biker see past the suit? Can the lawyer see past the tattoos?
I love Kindle Alexander and their work, you know I do, but I did struggle a bit with this one!
It took me til well past half way to fully engage with Keyes and Alec and I’ve no idea why, and you KNOW that pains me so! And just when I thought we would get an HEA?? NO, its a bloody Happy For Now sort of ending and that really did annoy me! There is a bit at the back that says about the continuation of Key and Alec’s story, but that’s not the point. I was expecting a Happy Ever After, I WANTED a HEA, and I didn’t get it.
Once I’d fully immersed myself in the story, I did enjoy it. Both guys have a say, both guys are polar opposites and it shows in so many ways, but I love those sorts of pairings. Key and Alec have instant and powerful attraction, hot off the charts chemistry that burns long and bright the whole way through to that HFN ending.
We still don’t know just why that particular DA is going after the group, I expect that will become a little more clearer in the next book.
There are a couple of mentions of other Kindle Alexander characters, and they slot in well into the overall plot line. Not gonna say who though, and they ARE just mentions. But well played there!
I really do need their next book, Chaos, to see if that gives me my HEA I want for these guys.
Now I’ve gotten over my little hissy fit about the ending, I’ve decided NOT to let it show in my rating, cos that’s really not very fair. So, ONLY because of the long time it took me to engage, . . .
4 stars
**same worded review will appear elsewhere**
I’m always excited when a new book is coming from Kindle, and again we got delivered an amazing book!!
If you have read Kindle’s books before, you know you get sweet romance, hot ass HELL sex and freaking sexy alpha men and this one is no exception! Keyes & Alec comes from two different worlds, but could NOT be more perfect for each other.
Can not wait for more!
My only real gripe with this book is that there isn’t really a story… Two guys from different sides of the tracks have a lot of sex. That’s about it. There is going to be another book, that I’m sure will have the actual story. So maybe pick that one up or if you’re here for two hot guys going at it, pick this one up.
Havoc is unlike any MC romance that I’ve ever read – in all the best ways. The MC is there, but this is more about the romance between Alex and Keyes. These guys aren’t just opposites, they’re from completely different worlds. Whether because of that difference or in spite of it, these guys have great chemistry and they are absolutely scorching hot. The story is well-written and full of terrific characters, some that I couldn’t help but fall in love with, and some that I really, really wanted to punch right in the mouth. It’s emotional, angsty, fan yourself sexy, and totally captivating. These guys have wormed their way into my heart, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them.
Kindle Alexander is my go-to for M/M romance. I love M/M when I read it, and there are few other authors I’ve found that pull out the depth of emotion as Ms. Alexander does. Keyes and Alec’s story felt a lot different than most of the other work I’ve read by them, but it still had all the feeling and warmth I’ve come to expect.
Havoc was a slow-burn romance. The pull and the chemistry were there between Keyes and Alec from their first meeting, but, man, it felt like it took forever for them to act on it. I was on tenterhooks waiting for them to give in to all that electricity sparking between them. Once they finally gave into their connection, I was fully invested in making sure they figured out their incredibly complex situation.
Outside of the romance brewing between Keyes and Alec, there was a ton of build-up to what I’m sure is going to be an explosive second book. I can’t wait to see what is going to happen with all of the pieces that have been working in the backgrounds of their lives. Though admittedly, I’m not looking forward to seeing the stress it will undoubtedly put their relationship through.
Havoc is the first book in Kindle Alexander’s Tattoos and Ties series. Havoc ends on a minor cliffhanger, Alec and Keyes’ story will continue in the second book, Order. Havoc is written in third-person limited perspective, alternatively following Alec and Keyes thoughts.
