After graduating from college with a degree in elementary education, mountain lion shifter Hope Parkins is thrilled to accept a job at Ashland Elementary School. She heads to Ashland to stay with her best friend, Treasure, a fae-dragon hybrid. When she arrives in town, she’s greeted by not only her bestie, but three mountain lion males who she and her cat recognize on sight. They’re her mates, … and she knows her life will never be the same.
Owen, Ben, and Nathan Fallon have felt an odd longing for years. They believe they’re meant to share a mate, but none of the females they know are her. While visiting their Uncle Rhett, they sense a presence that draws them to the farmhouse, where they meet a beautiful mountain lion female. They know immediately that she’s their shared mate. The gorgeous Hope is everything they ever wanted and more, and they can’t wait to make her theirs.
Despite finally finding her truemates, Hope feels compelled to help the female mountain lions who were cursed by their goddess to never know love. When her one opportunity to set things right for her people fails, she believes that all’s lost, and the females will never know the joy of family and finding love. Will a phone call from an old friend of the pride help Hope to change the course of the females’ lives forever?

Reader may hate that the much loved ‘Ashland Pride’ series is ending, but there is no better way for it to end than the fantastic and thrilling conclusion found in this romance. For the most part the story is cheerful, full of good feelings, inspiring, passionate and heartwarming as Hope and her three mountain lions look forward to building their future and happily ever after. The heroes and heroine are strong and lovable and of course, all the ‘Ashland Pride’ is along to share in their joy and readers can’t help but take part in all the loving feelings.
The story is fast paced and has a bit of upset and suspense as well which gets the adrenaline pumping and while providing no spoilers, there’s a bit of a twist in the curse that has the readers meeting a goddess and experiencing an amazing event that has them holding their breath during an exciting adventure in this wonderfully magical and heart pounding conclusion.
I love this whole series. You’d think after 11 stories set around the same type characters and town that there would be some books that lag behind or duplicate, Not So! Every romantic group has a fresh spin to it and you get to see what your old favorites are up to.
I have loved the Ashland pride since book one, and now to see it come to an end was a bit heartbreaking. But true to form this book was outstanding. Along with one day finding her mate or mates Hope has one goal in mind and that is to break the curse put on her kind by a Goddess. First to get to her new town to start her new job. Ben, Owen, and Nathan have waited for their mate for wwhat feels like forever, and then they walk right into her. They are so great together and the last of the Ashland pride to get mated in the series. The book is fantastic, not only for Hope and her mates, but her desire to free the other lion females. This book had everything, love, excitement, sorrow, new friends and old friends coming together. I loved the ending, but still want more. The Ashland Pride series was an amazing journey not to be missed.
This one has it all! There is adventure, humor, love, family, new beginnings, the righting of wrongs and all our old friends. I loved seeing Owen, Ben and Nate find their mate once fate allowed. Hope’s giving nature wants to see all the lionesses freed from the curse that left her and so many others without their mom. It was wonderful that the wolves from Callie’s old pack were so willing to step in and help. The whole book brought everything full circle. Highly recommended author and series This one has it all! Hope has wanted one thing to stop the curse a goddess put on the females lionesses. She is the only one who can take it off. Treasure and her tried once and failed and wow what trouble they got in. What a satisfying story!
I love the camaraderie within the members of the Ashland pride. They’re such a close-knit group. They watch out for each other, lend a hand when when anyone can use it. Good people. Hope is a loving young woman who really wants to see the curse on the mountain lions lifted. She’s a very busy girl – not only is she starting her first teaching job, she has met her truemates. Their romance is sweet, and they help her in her perilous quest to appeal to the Goddess. You really need to read this to see the outcome of her story. I love it!
