Betrayed and sold at auction, Thalia is a long way from home. When she’s given the opportunity to bring those who abducted her to justice, she’s all in. One problem. Her alien partner hates humans, and he really hates her.Too bad for him that she loves to tease the monstrous cross between a devil and an orc. He’s big, dangerous, and hits all her buttons. No problem. She can keep it professional. … it professional. Right?
A disgraced warrior.
Havik’s arrogance lost him a mate. Determined to regain his honor and complete this mission, he will not allow the human female to distract him.
He can’t trust a liar and a thief.
And he definitely shouldn’t be kissing one.
This books contains one grumpy alien, a woman who won’t give up hope, villains getting their just desserts, an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhangers. While Havik can be read on it’s own, the book is best enjoyed after Jaxar.

Love the series
This is a funny, action packed, happily ever after, spoiled alien boy grows into a good alien man story. Havik’s father lied to him about his first Terran mate saying she died along with their baby. His mate did not die and, after meeting her and her true mate much later, he realized she was never his true mate. Havik met a spunky Terran who grew up being a thief but she still had values. She was his true mate but they did have a few battles to get through before getting their happily ever after.
A wonderful action adventure finding a new mate and fighting evil. Loved the characters and the writing style. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC gifted by the author with no obligation
This is a great alien romance! The book blurb gives an accurate description of the story. The characters are not only sympathetic but also very likable. This book captured me from the start and I couldn’t put it down. Havik and Thalia are reluctant partners (on his part, at least) trying track down smugglers. I love them. Behind his gruff exterior, Havik is really just a big old alien sweetheart and Thalia is the spirited human woman who works her way into his heart. This story has a bit of everything, adventure, danger, humor, betrayal, romance and passion. I loved it.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Wow I loved this book so much because it was different from the rest being that to get the HEA Thalia and Havik had to work really hard to let go and trust each other when they only had themselves. Thalia had a hard life and got worse when her mum died when she was so young but she was taken in by Nicky who trained them to be thieves but as she got older and bigger she needed a new job other than sell herself so she worked with the doctor and learned at lot which saved her again but all that changes when doc dies and Nicky has no use for her so she runs but doesn’t get far and now she is sold at auction. Waking up 3 yrs later she will be sent back to earth but she doesn’t want to go it’s not safe for her. Havik has lost his mate and son and has wondered around lost for a year but when he learns the truth from his best friend REN that his father lied about his wife being dead but his son did die in child birth so his father hates earth females that he sent her back. Now Havik leaves to find his mate but finds she divorced him and has a new mate and he is devastated. With REN and himself looking for a new clan Paax and his crew/clan of the Judement spaceship gives them hope and that’s where Thalia and Havik meet and they fight the attraction between each other because one doesn’t trust anyone but wants to learn and one doesn’t think he deserves a new mate after treating his last one wrong. With the twists and turns and danger following them on there mission and his father trying to pull them apart by deceit and or death at any cost, can they find away to trust the love they have found in each other and have the future that they both long for.
Havik lost his first mate. His devious and evil father lied to him, and she was gone. Thalia has been on Earth scrabbling for scraps and trying to stay out of trouble. However, trouble finds her, and the adventure begins. Throw in a baby scorpion, pirates and an atmosphere not suitable for humans, and it’s one more adventurous tale!
I love this series and hope it goes on and on!
