Things are going well for Roland Greene. High school is behind him, he has a sweet new ride, a good job, and he’s making plans for his future. At eighteen, he’s one of the strongest werewolves in his pack, and he already has more vampire kills than most wolves have in a lifetime. Life is good. Almost. It’s time for the annual pack gathering. Wolves from all over Maine come to take care of pack … of pack business and socialize – and to find mates. Everywhere Roland turns there are unmated females, and as the Alpha’s nephew, he’s prime mate material. The last thing he wants right now is a mate, and he’ll do all he can to stay a free wolf.
Until he meets her.

Haven is the story of Roland & Emma and occurs after the events of the Relentless Trilogy.
Roland is back home after his adventure with Sara this past winter & is struggling with other’s expectations of him. Since he is of age, all the unmated wolves want to see if he will imprint on them, but the last thing Roland wants it to imprint.
Emma’s past is filled with horrors that most cannot even begin to imagine and she struggles with how to move past it. Thanks to Sara, she comes to Maine to see if she can find a way to move on.
These two have an adorable love story, even if they both act like idiots at times. This is a great series & the audiobook is amazing! Definitely one to read.
Karen Lynch knows just how to tease a story…
Karen Lynch knows just how to tease a story until you are sitting on the edge of your seat turning the pages to find out what happened next. A slow burn instant attraction keeps you turning the pages and a taste of mystery keeps you impatient for the next scene. Roland and Emma had a lot to work out in their relationship. She was human and he is a werewolf. He knew she was his mate even though it was unusual for a human to be mated with a werewolf. And Emma had a lot going on with her unusual previous life. She was so sure once Roland found out about her past life that he would be sure to run from her and want nothing to do with her forever. After some dips and bumps they come to a satisfying conclusion. I liked the slower pace of this book compared to the previous books in this series. Don’t get me wrong, the series is fantastic. However, this one dealt more with the werewolf pack and their ins and outs. Roland turned out to be very dreamy and sweet even though at first he wanted nothing to do with finding a mate. I’m glad he finally found his happiness ending with a scene at the end that was handled very tastefully by Ms Lynch. I’m very much looking forward to the next book in this series.
Oh my gosh!!! I can’t believe I was actually right about who Roland was going to imprint on and also about who he was destined to be!!!! Feeling very satisfied and happy!
It’s another epic story by Karen Lynch…may not be as fast paced as the others but still a very very good read.
Get ready to be sucked into another amazing story from the Relentless series and to see more of one of our much loved characters Roland.
Now in the meantime I shall be looking forward to the release of Karen Lynch’s next instalment, Fated and will be more than ready to fall in love with Sara’s cousin Chris even more 😉
Until then thank u Karen Lynch for the amazing journey you take me on everytime I open one of your books. I love your work and can’t wait to read any other stories you may release.
Happy readings
Not my favorite Lynch book BUT I enjoyed it none the less. Roland’s story is a little tame compared to Sarah and Nicholas but an entertaining read nonetheless.
