From New York Times bestselling author Kate White comes a gripping novel about one woman’s dangerous quest to recover lost memories someone would rather she never find. The key to her missing memories could bring relief—or unlock her worst nightmares.
On a cold, rainy morning, finance journalist Ally Linden arrives soaked to the bone at her Manhattan office, only to find that she’s forgotten her … Linden arrives soaked to the bone at her Manhattan office, only to find that she’s forgotten her keycard. When her boss shows, he’s shocked to see her—because, he explains, she hasn’t worked there in five years.
Ally knows her name, but is having trouble coming up with much beyond that, though after a trip to the psychiatric ER, she begins to piece together important facts: she lives on the Upper West Side; she’s now a freelance journalist; she’s married to a terrific man named Hugh. More memories materialize and yet she still can’t recall anything about the previous two days. Diagnosed as having experienced a dissociative state, she starts to wonder if it may have been triggered by something she saw. Could she have witnessed an accident—or worse—had something happened to her?
Desperate for answers, Ally tries to track where she spent the missing days, but every detail she unearths points to an explanation that’s increasingly ominous, and it’s clear someone wants to prevent her from learning where those forty-eight hours went. In order to uncover the truth, Ally must dig deep into the secrets of her past—and outsmart the person who seems determined to silence her.

I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and the way the story is built made me suspect of several people and still did not see it coming!
Love all of her books. A great writer.
Wonderful audiobook with great narration. My first read by this author and I plan on reading more.
This is a well-written, entertaining, fast paced, psychological thriller with mystery, intrigue and suspense. It is a real page turner with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the surprise ending.
I enjoyed reading this one. It kept my interest throughout.
Kept me guessing the entire time. It was hard to put down but not scary. I enjoyed it very much and thought it was very well written
I loved this book. First of all, it was easy reading. It captured my attention right away. I hate when the story finally gets interesting half-way thru a book. Secondly, the characters were soo real. It could’ve been anybody I knew. And thirdly, the plot twisted and turned so as you never expected what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed this one.
Ally Linden shoes up to work one day, disheveled and without her keys, purse, or her phone. When Damien, The CEO of the company arrives, he wonders why she is there, telling her that she hasn’t worked there in years. So begins Ally’s journey to discover how she lost her memory, and to try and piece her missing days and missing memories back together.
Along the way, Ally recalls a traumatic event from her childhood, wondering if that could have been the trigger for her fugue state. Her marriage to Hugh has some fissures, and Hugh admits they had an argument prior to her disappearance.
There are many red herrings in this book, and multiple story lines to keep track of as you try to work out what happened to Ally and how everything goes together.
I enjoyed this thriller, but I was a bit surprised at what the trigger was, thinking that was just a bit far-fetched.
I am thankful to Edelweiss+ for the ARC.

I just loved this book, it keeps you in its grip from the first page and just when you think you know what happens, you find out you don’t! I was very surprised at the ending, I stayed up last night to finish it, yes it was that good. A great suspense book for sure.
Thank you to the publisher and the author for a complimentary copy of this book
Suspense and more suspense. Financial advisor Ally shows up at her former place of employment drenched from the rain. The strange part is, she hasn’t worked their for five years
Ally struggles mentally to uncover the story of where she has been for 48 hours. Her character seems to verge in the state of a total breakdown as she recounts a childhood tragedy she stumbled upon. Ally had a strange sense she is being followed and her life is in danger. Meanwhile husband Hugh is distracted by work on a high pressure case.
Can Ally solve the mystery or will she die trying?
I have read a few of the Bailey Weggins series and have been loving them, so when I saw Kate White was coming out with this standalone, Have You Seen Me?, I knew I had to read it. I’m happy to report that it did not disappoint!
While some people might find the major twist a little out of left field and abrupt, I was definitely surprised by it and it wasn’t at all what I expected to happen which I loved. I really liked the addition of the event from Ally’s childhood and how it ended up fitting together with her current situation. It also added even more layers to an already intriguing plot.
I absolutely loved Ally and her friend Gabby, and the dynamic reminded me a little bit of the Bailey Weggins series. I thought that in general the majority of the characters were likable so if you don’t want a book full of characters you hate, Have You Seen Me? would be a good novel for you.
Have You Seen Me? is completely binge-worthy and I ended up reading it all in one day, in basically one sitting. I was so into it and I just had to know where it was going. And of course, in true Kate White fashion, you don’t get the big reveal until the VERY end. I don’t know how suspenseful I thought it was, I didn’t really have any pulse-pounding moments, but it was definitely addictive and kept a pretty quick pace throughout. Plus there is enough going on that I didn’t feel my attention waver even once.
Random thought that I just have to add, Ally’s therapist Dr. Erling reminded me SO much of Dr. Evelyn Vogel from season 8 of Dexter. Even though the characters aren’t similar in age or looks I couldn’t help but hear and picture Vogel every time Ally had a session with Erling. Anyone else? Just me? Okay.
If you love Kate White’s other books then I would definitely check out Have You Seen Me?
Thank you to the publisher for providing me with an advance review copy of this book, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
3 1/2 Stars
This story was interesting. Ally Linden lost two days of her life due to suffering from a dissociative state. She hires a detective agency to help her put together where she was over those two days. She hopes finding this out will help her remember. Many things are going on in Ally’s life, any of which could have triggered her. I liked reading about the P.I.’s process of tracking Ally’s movements.
Ally Linden arrives at work, starts her regular routine, just like any normal workday… but it’s not. She hasn’t worked in the office she is sitting in for a couple of years now, and her former co-workers are looking at her like she has lost her mind, and she has no idea why.
Things aren’t adding up, memories are missing, and the last couple days of her life are a complete blur… something is definitely not right.
Have You Seen Me is a riveting story about a woman who has lost her memory and is struggling to make sense of things. She keeps finding little clues that start her on a journey that not only helps to rediscover the two days that she lost, but also helps uncover a tragedy she witnessed in the past. There is a lot going on between the pages of this one, and it is evident someone near and dear to Ally isn’t being truthful, and the life she thought she lead isn’t all that it appears to be. Hold on tight because this mesmerizing little page-turner will take you on one heck of a ride! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley request, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Kate White has done it again. Her latest novel, Have You Seen Me? stars Ally, who shows up at her old job with no memory of why she shouldn’t be there. White starts with a bang and keeps the suspense high throughout, weaving together a labyrinth of buried memories and disturbing revelations that blur the lines between what’s true and what’s not. An addictive, up-all-night stunner.
Meh. Another supergirl with a mysterious malady.
Kate White never fails to deliver!
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me guessing and was a thriller but not so scary I was afraid to turn out the lights.
Wow! I can always count on Kate White to take me for a ride and HAVE YOU SEEN ME? did not disappoint!

Terrible
I finished this book but was profoundly disappointed. The core premise about missing time was intriguing but the author didn’t develop this with interest or effectively. Just not well written. The main character was 2 dimensional and boring. I kept hoping it would gather some momentum and improve but the ending literally made no sense. Only feeble attempts were made to tie in the back story and that was never resolved either. A waste of time.
