Have my baby. That was what my single dad best friend Seth said to me while I was waitressing at the diner. His little girl wants a sibling. But Seth is a workaholic millionaire and doesn’t have time to meet someone.Someone who won’t screw him over, like his kid’s mother. Only problem is this someone has secretly been in love with him since high school. I’ve been hiding it forever, not wanting to … love with him since high school. I’ve been hiding it forever, not wanting to risk our friendship.
Sleeping with him is my biggest fantasy. And I’ve fantasized plenty, being a virgin. Another thing he doesn’t know.
Now I have to make the biggest decision of my life.
Is having a no strings attached affair just to make a baby better than never having him at all?
Author’s note: this case of insta-love and insta-naked-time has been brewing for over a decade. Babymaking has never been so hot…or so funny…or so complicated.

An emotionally sweet, and endearing journey to go on with Seth and Ally.
I love it!
I love baby romance and this was good, it had everything friends becoming lovers, a little sweet girl and a hot dad.
There’s heart and soul in this story, lots of feelings.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
Well described characters that’s developed in to realistic personalities
Sizzling chemistry between the main characters and a hint to a new story for some secondary characters (I really love that)
Very easy to read and great entertainment, 5 stars
I loved this book. Seth and Alison are adorable. All the feels with this book. Prepare yourself to laugh, sob and be frustrated all within a few pages. The HEA had me ugly crying in the best way!
Have my baby is the first book of the Dirty Dilfs series. It’s a super fun and sexy contemporary romance. It has a nice storyline that is based on the friends to lovers theme, and it’s focused on the crazy baby offer and the sexual attraction between the two main characters. It’s well written and the erotic scenes are extremely hot. The characters were just your normal everyday people. There wasn’t any important information about them and the on and off parts became a bit tiring since there wasn’t any explanation to why that was happening. As an erotic story is great but the relationship needed a little bit more build up. I enjoyed it and I will rate it with 3.5 stars.

This is the first in Taryn Quinn Dirty DILF series. I loved Seth and Ally’s friends to lovers journey. This book is a good, well written story that elicits great emotions and reactions from the reader. I couldn’t wait to read the next book in the series.
How do you convince your best friend to have your baby? Seth is a single father of a perfect feisty little girl who wants a sister. But Seth needs a little help with that. The only person he trusts enough to ask is his best friend. But that takes a lot of work to pull off. I loved this storyline. I loved the character chemistry. This was a great book from beginning to end. Some very funny moments some very tender moments. First one I have read by this author and I will be reading more.
Boy did I enjoy Have My Baby! Friends to lovers…check! Strong funny heroine…check! Hot single dad…check! Cute little girl…check! This rom com checks all of my boxes. The supporting characters are fun from the uptight brother, the looking for Mr. Right best friend and the emotionless father. I was engaged with Seth and Ally from the first page and I wanted these two to figure it out so badly because everyone knew that they were meant for each other but them! It’s told from dual POV and I am going on to the next book in the series now. I completely recommend it.
Loved this sweet friend to lover story
Young Love
Ally & Seth have been best friends since they were 15. She was in love with him but never wanted to lose her best friend. He never really thought of them as a couple and his ex wife got pregnant and bailed, Ally has always been there especially for his little girl Laurie. Now he wants a 2nd child and Laurie wants a sibling. The only he would that with is Ally, he just has to admit he loves her.
Another fun read from Taryn Quinn as friends finally discover that there’s more than just friendship between them. Have My Baby has fun, quirky characters and a storyline that has humor and heart. Ross and Kennicott do an amazing job with the narration. Combined, this is a wonderful listening experience.
This was my first Taryn Quinn’s book and I love her writing. I really enjoyed my listening. This is a friends to lovers story. I love the two main characters Seth and Ally and of course the little one, Laurie, Seth’s daughter. I also love the other characters, Oliver, Seth’s brother, and Sage, Ally’s best friend. This story is sweet, funny and heartwarming. The narration was very great and easy to listen, as always with Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I can’t wait to listen to Sage and Oliver’s story! I have read/listen this story. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
Really liked the story just don’t need the F-word all the time. Not everyone talks like that!!!
I really liked Seth & Ally, but the story dragged on a bit for me. Their story is a little too angsty… no, that’s not the right word. It’s not like teen angst, it’s just that they have a lot of back & forth where EVERYONE around them knows they’re in love, but they can’t admit it. So, those kinds of things annoy me.
However, it was overall an enjoyable story! And Laurie is super cute, and the HEA is SUPER sweet & funny & adorable. : )
I was surprised at the nature of this book. Despite the title, the book is well written with a good storyline and the progression from friends to lovers was realistic and believable. Ally has loved Seth from afar ever since high school. She has fantasied about him for years, but has kept her feelings tightly under wraps because she doesn’t want to spoil their special friendship – a friendship that was obvious to everyone that knew them but not to Seth and Ally. When Seth puts a proposition on the table for Ally to have his child, all her dreams are handed to her on a silver plate. Whilst Ally wants more, including to be loved for who she is, she stalls on giving Seth an answer because if the relationship goes south, she will lose what little she has of him. I loved the main characters in this book and Laurie adds a special blend to the story. Seth is charming and likable and his respect for Ally is tangible throughout the book. Ally is loyal to a fault and her tendency to give of herself has drained her to the last drop. Everyone needs a friend like Sage and the twin brother who was most affected by their friendship, finally rallies and comes to his senses. This was a most enjoyable friends to lovers romance.
Have my baby is my first book by Taryn Quinn and it was an okay read. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it. The sex in this book was smokin’ hot and written well. I also love friends to lovers books but I didn’t connect to the couple. I didn’t feel their relationship. There wasn’t a build up it was just assumed they were besties. But I never felt the their bond. I also didn’t really understand what the conflict was. I didn’t understand why Ally kept running. Nothing was setting her off, no clear problems. It was just like drama for drama’s sake. Still it wasn’t a bad read. It would have made a great shorter story erotica. But for the lenght of the book I would have like more relationship development.
Awww my heart can’t stop from swooning all over the place! Have My Baby has to be one of the sweetest, cutest friends-to-lovers romance I’ve read in a long time. And sexy, too!
Ally and Seth have been best friends since they were 15 and she’s been in love with him the whole time. He’s had women in and out of his life but none stuck until he had a baby 4 years ago. His daughter may have stuck around, but her mother didn’t. But, that’s OK, because Laurie has Ally, and Seth has Ally, as his best friend only. Until the day he presents her with the most ridiculous contract ever – she have his baby (because his 4 year old daughter has been asking him for a sibling) and he give her enough money to pay for tuition at whatever college she wants. To say Ally’s taken aback is an understatement. But, she’s always been in love with the man, and he’s hot as hell, with his inked up, muscular body, so she takes him up on the offer, but not really. She never signs the contract, but she does steam up the sheets with him, after an awkward first time (view spoiler) when he fell asleep right after, but she’s just biding her time because she knows it’s all she’ll ever get from him aside from his friendship.
Of course, sex always changes things, even a closer than close friendship, so miscommunication, repressed feelings, revelations from not so friendly members of Seth’s family, and Ally’s penchant for running away from things she doesn’t want to face, all hamper the burgeoning relationship the two have started to develop. Will they ever get their shit together and really talk? Will they admit to the feelings both seem to have? Or is it all sex, then baby, then Ally walks away, as the contract states?
Have My Baby is sweet and sexy and Laurie has got to be the cutest, most precocious, independent little 4-year-old, EVER!! Seth is a sweet, sexy guy and it was entertaining watching him fall and not realize it. Ally, my God, that poor woman. She had been taking care of her mom for so long, and Seth, and Laurie, and had never taken the time to care for herself, so it was nice to see Seth get his head out of his ass and take care of Ally for once. Their chemistry is sexy for sure, but more importantly, because they’re best friends, they’ve got that emotional intimacy that’s so necessary in any relationship. Kudos to Taryn for this wonderfully sexy and emotional friends-to-lovers story!
Recently I made a Facebook post asking for book recommendations that centred on a man wanting a baby and the woman providing that, erm, service, for lack of a better word, and them falling in love in the process, why you ask? Well, I’ve read a few where it’s the other way around, the woman wanting the baby and although I like them, I wanted something a bit different. I got a couple of recommendations, but the consensus was that it’s a theme I wouldn’t really be able to get my hands on unless I pitched it to an author. So, imagine how excited I was when I read the synopsis for this book. And it combines two of my favourite themes; single parent and friends to lovers. I felt it was done really well. It was fun and sexy, sweet and heart-warming. It has an insta-love feel to it even though Seth and Ally have been friends for years, it’s like once they crossed that line, they really crossed it. Although this is a sexy book I think it has different dimensions to it and the listener will get something different out of it depending on their mood at the time. You have the typical sexy times fun, which if that’s what you’re looking for you won’t be disappointed, but it also has a story of a woman that is a mother even though she didn’t give birth to the child and that thread of the story is what really stood out the most for me, then, of course, you have the friendship aspect and how that changes and grows. It’s an easy listen, fun, sweet and sexy. Something for everyone. And have you seen this cover? Gah! Swoon! It’s just adorable, talk about melting panties (yours, not mine!), and it includes both narrators names, which I love.
I loved these characters, Seth, Ally and Laurie make the perfect family, how did they not see this before? Gah! Talk about wanting to bang heads together. Ally has had a lot to deal with in her life and it’s understandable that she’d be reluctant to do something that could ruin her friendship with the one person that has seen her through the tough times. She’s always been there for Seth and Laurie, they’re her family. Seth, swoon, he’s all the things, successful, charming, sexy, a great dad. What’s not to like? No wonder Ally is in love with him. Sure, he’s frustrating, he doesn’t see what is right in front of him, but he’s a guy, we gotta give him a break somewhere – he makes up for it.
Laurie is the sweetest thing, a little madam at times, but sweet none the less. That little girl knew what was going on before Seth and Ally did, and it was cute to see that play out. There were a couple of scenes that really hit you in the gut between Laurie and Ally and they really gave the book an emotional aspect to the story that I wasn’t expecting. Oliver and Sage were fun side characters and I’m looking forward to listening to their story because their chemistry had sparks.
I liked that this book didn’t waste any time getting to the proposition and that the bulk of the story was around these two friends becoming more. The banter between Seth and Ally was fun and gave a feel for their friendship, it made it believable that these two people had been friends for years. The sexy times are melt your headphones hot, Taryn Quinn really knows how to turn up the heat and write a fun and sexy scene. I liked the progression the characters went through and how their thoughts changed and the realisations of their feelings. It made them feel real. The conflict wasn’t overdone and didn’t last long, long enough to wonder what was going on and wanting to bash heads, but not long enough to lose interest in the story. The way everything and everyone came together was heart-warming.
This is another wonderful duet performance by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. Their voices complement each other perfectly. The chemistry between the characters is always evident and that is no different with this book. Their comedic timing is spot on and seems to go with the author’s vision. The emotional aspects of the story were performed with heart, that makes the listener react, I’m not saying tears were shed, but…. yeah, ok, I am, tears were shed, just a few though. The sexy times are pretty hot, blushes are to be expected, especially when paired with Kai and Wen’s voices. You want to talk about a swoonfest? Wen Ross performing a single Father, of a little girl, no less, if you don’t swoon, I think you might be unswoonable. It was heart-meltingly sweet, some of the scenes between Seth and Laurie were just… sigh, I can’t even. Speaking of Laurie, Kai Kennicott was on fire as that feisty four-year-old. It kinda stole the show, is there anything she can’t perform the heck out of? I say, no!
The production was great with no issues I noted.
From sunshine moments to cloudy days, in life we all experience our share of rain. What makes it tolerable is a strong sense of family and a great group of friends. What happens when family ties are non-existent and the bonds of friendship are put to the test? Taryn Quinn blurs the line between friendship and lovers. Seduction is on the agenda when hormones and hearts collide, but will the growing pains along the way prove to be the reason why a longstanding friendship is on the verge of dying? Have My Baby is a tale of sacrifice and new beginnings that leans more toward naughty with a hint of nice. Once I got pass the dirty talk, Seth and Ally were a pleasant surprise.
HAVE MY BABY is the first installment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult DIRTY DILFs erotic romance series. This is thirty year old, single father and successful real estate agent Seth Hamilton , and waitress Allison ‘Ally’ Lawrence’s story line.
Told from dual first person perspective (Seth and Ally) HAVE MY BABY is a best friends to lovers story line that follows the building, romantic relationship between high school best friends- a relationship years in the making.
