But I’m going to tell you a secret…They got it wrong. Not only that but my story isn’t over yet. Far from it. I left wonderland changed, broken, incomplete. To fix the pieces of my soul and find the memories that were stolen, I’ll have to devel even … that were stolen, I’ll have to devel even deeper into Wonderland than ever before. Hatter’s Heart by Erin Bedford is an amazing story to read. This is book number six out of seven in this amazing series that I have loved reading and can not wait to read the rest of this series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romance.

Great and interesting take on Alice In Wonderland; well written with interesting characters and a well built world.
The Crimes of Alice is a prequel to the Underground series. Wonderland. A magical place most people only read about in books. Except me. So this is the real story about Alice and wonderland and it’s no hea fairytale! I really enjoyed this book about Alice and her adventure to find hatter and his heart. I hope they can find the cure for the underground and make it and all the fae better.
Looking forward to the next book

An interesting take on the idea of wonderland
I could see the characters and world they lived in with every word I read
I would recommend this author however I dropped the series due to constraints on my time
Note: will pick up series again later and edit all reviews

This is book 2 in Alice’s story but the 6th in series. We’ve learned allot about Alice she helps the Fae and works to be the intermediary between humans and Fae and she has her Hatter. But not everything is as perfect as Alice wants now her Hatter is gone yo chase what he lost and Alice she will have to go back to the Underground face and unruly Queen a find her man and lost memories and help the Fae who are suffering from a mysterious sickness.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Our heroine is back in Wonderland, trying to find what is lost and make things right. That can be a challenging prospect in the best of times, but Wonderland just adds a whole new layer to the problem.
This is book six of the series, but also both book two of the second story arc. I recommend starting with book one (first arc) or book five (second arc).
This second story arc is a fantasy story and something of a retelling of the original Wonderland story. And yet, while the setting and characters are familiar, this is not the same story. The story is well written, easy to read and very engaging. Once again, our heroine is in Wonderland and things are just as crazy as ever. I am really enjoying this series on multiple levels and this one continues that trend.
Highly recommended.

Hatter’s Heart continues to the story of Alice, after she betrayed everyone and lost her memory. It’s a gripping tale, and I can’t wait to see where it goes next.

This book continues the tale of Alice. Although casually based on characters from Alice in Wonderland, this a completely unique and different tale. Alice seems to find trouble wherever she goes as she embarks into the Underground to find where Hatter has gone. The story has adventures, sickness, lost memories, love, and searching. Like most (all?) of the Underground books, this one ends on a cliffhanger, so be prepared for that. I really enjoyed this unique and interesting take on the AiW characters.

So this is the real story about Alice and wonderland and it’s no hea fairytale! I have loved the Underworld stories from the very start and was excited to carry on with Alices and Hatters adventures. A fantastic storyline and great characters old and new as we go back to The Underworld to get the answers they Need! I have to say this intriguing read just grabbed me from the start and I look forward to reading the next instalment!
Wow what a different take on Alice as she returns to Wonderland aka Underground. All the characters we know from the usual Alice in Wonderland are here but not like the movies we know. I loved this different take and continuation of this series but with Alice in the lead. The story was interesting and kept me reading to the end to see what would happen in the next chapter and how it would all end up. Would Alice find what she needed and regain her memories.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Oh Alice… what will you be getting into next? I really enjoyed going back the the Underground/Wonderland. There were so many questions arising throughout the book. Alice is struggling with what is going on around her and in her head as well.
I can’t wait for the next book!
Once again, Erin Bedford has given us another great addition to this series. The characters are well written and the story line is engaging. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

This takes place several years after the end of Alice’s Crimes. Alice and Hatter are living together and Alice is the liaison between the fae and humans now that the humans know the fae exist. Hatter is late one day getting home and he seems preoccupied, looking for something he’s lost. The next morning he’s gone with no word and has left his cellphone behind. Alice knows he’s gone back to Underworld to find what he’s lost. Alice is determined to find him so she dresses as everyone expects Alice to be dressed and goes through the looking glass to the Underworld and then the adventures begin.
This is not your Lewis Carrol interpretation of a girl’s understanding of Wonderland, but a real world with its own, very grownup dangers. The Underworld that the author has created is full of both good and bad and is very well drawn. Alice, though an adult, still has a very immature look at things, so you know that she is damaged and is described very well by the author.
My only complaint is this book picks up several years after the first one ended and it takes a bit to figure that out and, for me, caused a bit of confusion, but not enough to mar my enjoyment of the book.

This is book 6 of The Underground series. I love the characters and the storyline. One of my favorite fairy tales has always been Alice and Wonderland so this series grabbed me from the start and I’ve not been disappointed. It’s one of my favorite series and I would recommend reading.

Erin Bedford brings us back to the world of Wonderland and it’s still amazing as always.
Alice left Wonderland a change woman, pieces of her memories and soul that were taken. Alice must return to Wonderland to fix herself. There she finds things has change. I love how the story progresses in order for Alice to find her whole self and he feelings for Hatter. A definite must read.!

Really enjoyed this action packed, emotionally charged journey from beginning to end. This adventure was filled with engaging and exciting charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists, unexpected turns and thrilling danger around every corner. Great reading!
Hatter’s Heart is the continuation of Alice’s story from The Crimes of Alice and I definitely recommend you read it before this one so you fully understand what is going on. This is an intriguing, twisted story filled with interesting characters. These characters may have the names of the characters from the fairy tale but they are nothing like them, well maybe a twisted version of them. Hatter’s Heart ends in a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Alice states that she is not trouble but trouble finds her. I think it is a mixture of both since like is attracted to like. Hatter all but says goodbye and talks about having found his heart and then he disappears the next day. Not knowing what else to do Alice embarks on a journey to find her beloved Hatter. Unfortunately, that is not all that is going on in the Underground as a sickness has spread. I would say that you really should read the Crimes of Alice before you read this book otherwise you will have to just accept a lot of odds and ends and frankly it is Alice in Wonderland type of story so that is just a way of life anyways I guess otherwise it is not an Alice in Wonderland story. It has been a while since Crimes of Alice and I had to be reminded about the dual names caused by the shadow. Very happy she wrote in the explanation of that to jog the memory but that should give you a taste of what I mean about needing to read prior books instead of starting with this one as some of you rebels do. Other than that side note, I think if you have gotten this far into looking into this book, you would love this adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.
I was so happy to hear that there was a new book for Alice and her adventures! While Alice may remember Hatter and her love for him that is the only thing that she remembers due to the hall of mirrors. I love how the author keeps you on the edge of your seat with what is going to happen next, and can not wait to read the next book.
Hatter and Alice Forever
I’ve always heard that your tastes change as you get older. I believe this to be true. Case in point, growing up “Alice in Wonderland” was probably my least favorite story. Ms. Bedford’s take on this “world” on the other hand is one of my most favorite series. Each trip to the underground leaves me craving more. This new adventure with Alice is no different. For anyone that hasn’t started this series….why? You really have no idea what you are missing
