Omg omg omg. One word thrilling. The book was all about alice. She was going after her heart to find hatter. She kept running into trouble and creatures along the way. She was also relieving memories. This book had me at the edge of my seat.

A different new twist on an old classic, this story is anything but your normal Alice in Wonderland story. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review..
Interesting retelling of Alice in Wonderland. You can see the classic story that was the basis of the tale, but it has been twisted and expanded to make an all new tale.
Hatter’s Heart is a wonderful read… I loved it.. This series happens to be one of many of my favorites that is written by miss Bedford.
It is full of a bunch of exciting events that happen with the main character Alice. With both Senior and Junior Cheshire Cat helping her along the way.. they make the story more exciting.
There is a twist I didn’t see coming that happens to Alice.. that I didn’t see or expect to happen.
Now I really can’t wait to read the next book so that I find out what happens to Alice and Hatter.
I really recommend reading the other books in The Underground Series and the prequels The crime of Alice and The lost Fae by Erin Hunter before reading Hatter’s Heart,
This story takes you back to the Underground. Alice wants to put her past behind and doesn’t remember much what have happened before she been prisonner of the Hall of Mirrors except of her love for Hatter. When one morning is missing she will go back to The Underground to find him. But things are not going well for the Fae. A strange sickness is spreading. With the help of Chess and his father Cheshire, she will go on an adventure to get Hatter back and find a solution for the sickness before its to late.
I have really loved this book and cannot wait for the sequel.
This is the newest installment in the Underground series. Hatter is missing and Alice has to leave the human realm in order to find him. The Underground is changing and The Sickness is killing the Fae. With the help of Chess and Cheshire, Alice has a slightly different adventure. What is going to happen to them? This was a creative and hypnotic story that kept me up late at night. It was worth it though now I have to wait to find out what happens next.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
The story enchants you, taking you on a trip through the Underground, tossing in a sickness and a solution and then—

Alice doesn’t remember much due to the hall of mirrors. She remembers Hatter, she loves him. She is working with her friend Kat now. Alice wants to put her mistakes behind her and move on with life. Alice gets home, Hatter is no there. She is worried about him. He makes it home but it feels like a goodbye. Alice wakes up and Hatter is gone. Alice decides to go to the underground to find him.
Things are not the same in the underworld, things are all different. Alice doesn’t know where to look for Hatter. Alice learns that there is a sickness now, there is only two ways to fix it. Alice just wants find Hatter. She keeps having these voices in her head.
Things will get interesting for Alice as she makes her way to both Queens, one talks in riddles, the other wants her head. Alice is going to learn a little about the times she can’t remember.
This was a good book, i wish there were more to it with her remembering more. Just feel like she was wandering around. Looking forward to the next book, to see where Alice and the others are.

Hatter has gone missing and Alice is off to find him with a little help from Chess. While in Wonderland she discovers that the sickness has returned and there’s only two ways to get rid of it and at the moment neither are going to work. Everyone is looking at her to solve the problem and all she wants is to find Hatter. Along the way she finds a piece of her missing past and some memories come back to her from her time in the mirror. An excellent read. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
The choices you have to make as a bookworm. I have an entire collection of Wonderland books and retellings, but I also didn’t wanna wait for the paperback to be available and delivered. Yesterday, when I scrolled through Booksprout, my problem was solved. This book was available for reviews and guess who was eager to read it right away and was easily gonna make the deadline for said review? Yes! You guessed it right. Me!
And damn, did I miss this version of Wonderland! Mixing Wonderland with the Fae-lore is one of the smartest moves I have ever seen and it makes the world of Wonderland even more dangerous and yet beautiful at the same time. If this is your first time in this Wonderland I’m sure you will be surprised around every corner. Familiar faces and new faces are mixed amazingly well. And familiar places and new places are located near each other. Therefore Wonderland feels like home AND yet also like a new place to discover.
My favorite part of this story however is Alice herself. I’ve always seen myself in the original Alice. A little know it all, a kid too smart for her age, but also a kid eager to explore the world. And this grown up version of Alice still feels like me. She’s firm, determined, emotional and once she goes for something she goes for it with her entire heart. But most of all this version of Alice is so human and realistic. She has flaws, she makes mistakes, she messes up and yet she keeps on going.
If you haven’t read the other stories in this world, this is a perfect point to enter, especially because everything is built up from scratch again. Wonderland is different, the characters are a little different with the focus on other characters and this is clearly the start of a brand new storyline. It helps that Alice has lost her memories of what has happened, in a very well explained way, which means that she has to rediscover everything too.
I can’t wait to put this paperback on my shelf and I can’t wait to read the rest of this new series!
This is the next book in ” The Underground Series ” I do recommend reading the others in the series first to completely know all that has happened. I could not put this book down. Its that good.
