It won’t take long for the reader to realize they are onboard the PN2 (Product Number Two) spaceship perhaps with a crazy crew. Tur’s “in a nutshell” preface to his explanation to Bonn Ventara about distance and time in space travel – an explanation that went on and on and on – caused the commander, Brax, to ask if he knew what the human phrase “in a nutshell” meant? Brax explained that what followed the phrase was supposed to be a short version that could fit under a nutshell. Tur proceeded to argue that it made no sense at all unless you wrote extremely tiny text to fit. If a nutshell is literal, why use it if it makes no sense… and the conversation rolled on.
As we get into the heart of the story, Dorothy (“Dott”) is a working at a burger joint. Tur, whom we met earlier, is a Grolgath warrior. Num is Tur’s egg he is watching until it hatches. Dott has an interaction with a mob guy which she wasn’t supposed to have and, as a result, is able to predict the future, so the mob goes after her. Tur tries to help her and adds to the chaos. But the bottom line is that they somehow find time to fall in love.
This is a wild and chaotic story that will either tickle your funny-bone to have you hysterically laughing, or it will drive you crazy. The characters are really likable and goofy. I hope you enjoy your copy of the story. It is truly unique, especially if you are familiar with the Star Trek theme and other references thrown in there.
This story was a very well-written intense book that had wonderful characters and great story-line. It was funny, dramatic, suspenseful, life and death moments and love. It had some really funny lines that had me laughing so hard. I really enjoyed this amazing book. a must read

This book starts off not too far from the ending of the last book in the series, so you see Bonn and Brax with Tur on a ship together, but it’s still a standalone, so you don’t need to read the last book before this one. This was a fun read. Tur brings a lot of humor to the book, and he and Dott make a good couple. There is also the situation Tur is put into with a sidekick that is hilarious at the beginning. This turned out to be one of my favorites in the series.
Could any story be funny and steamy at the same time? This was it. When aliens base their human language on old gangster movies I couldn’t help but groan and laugh as I was reading.Tur is a sarcastic pilot who has no filter to his language. Dott is a former junker turned waitress on a seaside resort. Dott gets herself in trouble with a mob connected casino owner. Tur is there to rescue her. Throw in a alien egg about to hatch, hover skates and a lot of steam between these two and you have an interesting read.

This story was something else. It was funny, dramatic, there was suspense, battles of life and death. It it were not for some of the funny lines in the story that had me laughing tears it would have been too intense. Of course it may have been just funny to me because some of it could have been seen as warped. Tur was in the last book that I read by Athena in this series. He has a mouth that runs on automatic, in other words he doesn’t think before he talks and he talks all the time. He is sent to this planet with his egg to build the link between the two of them and it is here that he meets Dott. Dott works as a car hop at a dinner, she is given a crystal by accident as part of a tip from some guy that works for the mob. Before you know it Tur is saving her life from the mob over and over. His egg hatches into a worm that eats everything in sight and grows. It is just on calamity after an other. The book kept me reading to see if they were ever going to make it out alive. This story has a more complex plot than the other stories that I have read so far. What surprised me more was the fact with all the different names of the different characters running through out the story I did not run across a mistype or naming someone by the wrong name making me to pause in the story. I did have to stop a few time to catch my breath but all in all I would say this is a fantastic story.

This series absolutely rocks! Each book seems to be a little better than the one before it. Tur is the complete package. Although he can never seem to keep his foot out of his mouth, he was perfect. Loyal, brave, funny, handsome and protective. There are just so many layers to him. Dott will have her hands full with him. At least their life together will never be boring. These stories will completely enthrall you. I love the humor they are filled with. Action from the first page that guarantees you will not be able to put it down.

I enjoyed reading this book, it has a good storyline. There is action and adventure, the chemistry and interaction between the characters of Dott and Tur is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Tur is back with a mission to mirror the Alliance with a Kleid-like companion. He’s sent to a pleasure planet to hatch and bond with the creature. Dott is a carhop serving up orders for way too many orders for her feet. She is accidentally given a power chip as a tip which cause her Big Problems! And that doesn’t even include her meeting with Tur. It’s a wild ride evading the bad guys while keeping up with Num!
A wonderful story about Tur who thinks he’s “God’s Gift to Ladies” and Dott who is a waitress at CosmoBurger. From the very first pages a smile was on my face when reading this story with the dialog between Tur and Brax and laughing when Num is born, but there is some serious and romantic things too. Tur gets summoned by Alru and is given a egg and sent to Glimner a paradise vacation planet to take care and bond with the egg. Dott while waitressing serves a regular customer named Kopala who is in the mob. Kopala in a hurry gives Dott money and a strange crystal as tip. Dott goes home and stares into the crystal and sees equations inside and gets a headache and goes to bed. Tur after landing on Glimner is hungry and stops at CosmoBurger for food and meets Dott and asks her out which she accepts. When Kopala with crew approach Tur and Dott on their date and demand Dott go with them, Tur fights them back defending Dott. Dott and Tur go hiding from Kopala’s boss. This is the beginning of the antics and adventure of Dott, Tur and lets not forget Num. This is a very enjoyable second story of the crew of PN2 in the Coalition universe. This is the most hysterical book that I’ve read so far from the storm. Turk no Tuk is a galaxy pilot. Supposedly the best in all of the galaxy. He is set to a planet to babysit and had an egg to be his… Partner as a government agent. As he is trying to hatch the egg and bottom of the egg he falls for this waitress. Dorothy a.k.a. Dott. She gets her self mixed up in the basically alien mob because she was given something on accident. Was he tried to give it back it was excepted but “defective. From then on everything it’s a Stericha. It is funny. It is tearjerking Lee comical to wear the stuff that you know you just can’t believe it. There is an HEA at the end of the rainbow. I enjoyed every single minute of reading this book.

The second book in the Champions of Ataxia series a story that had me laughing as I read. A well written story that held my interest throughout. The introduction is great. Dorothy/“Dott”and Tur’s story is witty, and unpredictable. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tur (who was in a previous book) is to bond with an alien creature. He’s living the life on Glimner. Dot works a burger joint. There’s a guy who likes her but doesn’t give him the time of day. Mr Kopala gives her a nice tip but something like a crystal pendant is among the coins. She holds it up to her eye and something happens. Tur ends up a the burger place Dot works and he plans to bet but Dot tells him to bet differently. He wins and wants to take her out. Kopala comes looking for his pendant. He notices that it sin’t as it should be. Tur tries to protect her and gets out of there. This is the beginning of their adventures. Kopala tries again and she gets taken by him but eventually gets taken by Gorn, as he has plans to use her. She gets rescued again, thanks to the “creature”. Dot gets hired on and they are off again. They go to pick up their next crew member. I assume the story in some way or another continues on in another book. Was a great read!
Dotti is a lonely human girl working at a dead end job serving burgers and shakes. Tur is a Grolgath warrior who is supposed to be on vacation bonding with his egg until it hatches. Dotti is accidentially given a crystal from a mob member that comes to the CosmoBurger. When she looks at it, it implants a formula in her brain that can predict the future with 100% accuracy of anything. Now the mob is after her and Tur is determined to save her, being a superior warrior and all! Only problem is he can’t keep his mouth shut and just keeps getting them into more and more trouble. When Tur’s egg hatches it imprints on him and Dotti, while it is eating everything in sight. Follow them on a hilarious roller coster ride as they end up falling in love. And of course Tur does save her, with the help of his friends and his “egg” Num. Another great read in the Athenaverse Saga!
