I hate him. I want him. I can’t stop thinking about him.ChloeNice to see you, sunshine, wearing black again?Dean Maddox spent high school pushing all my buttons.Seven years later, we’re working together. So much has changed, but he’s the same arrogant ahole with the same penchant for teasing me senselessly.I still want to slap the cocky smirk from his face. And tear off his clothes. And kiss him … cocky smirk from his face. And tear off his clothes. And kiss him like the ship is going down.
I hate him. I want him. I can’t…
No, I will stop thinking about him.
Dean
Seven years ago, I took Chloe’s vrginity. It was supposed to cure my cravings for the pint-sized spitfire. But now that she’s working under me…
The more she glares, the more I want her.
The more I tease, the more she eye-fcks me.
The more I brag about my Prince Albert…
Let’s just say it’s obvious she’s picturing me naked.
She owns my thoughts as much as I own hers.
I should stay away. She’s my subordinate. She’s off limits.
But there’s no way in hell I can resist her.

I love Dean. His personality makes this book so much fun. Chloe is a strong brave character. Their story was funny and emotional. With the first book I was sure Emma was going to be with Dean, but Chloe complements Dean a tee.
dean and chloe stole the show with this story. they made me laugh, swoon and have all the feels.
I loved this book so hard
I’ve been looking forward to Dean’s story for awhile now. I knew he had a story to tell and it’s not pretty.
When Chloe is hired at Dean’s tattoo shop, she’s less than thrilled. After all, he’s the boy who took her v card and never called. Yep, he pulled a serious douche move. Did he have a defense? Not really. Do teenage boys ever have a defense for the loser moves they pull? Will Dean be able to redeem himself? Will he grow up and do the adult thing? Chloe doubts it, but Dean did not let me down. He manned up, in all kinds of sexy, sweet ways.
Seeing these two dance around their attraction and seeing Dean try and succeed in redeeming himself was sexy, flirty fun. He’s always been the clown in the group, and he is still, but I liked his serious side and that Chloe brought it out in him, along with his flirty, arrogant side.
I’ve loved this series, can’t wait for more!
Great book! Book four in the Inked Hearts series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Told in dual POV with HEA. Dean and Chloe knew each other in High School. Now seven years later she is apprenticing in his tattoo shop. I really liked that there was not too much story just in their heads, but of them actually spending a lot of time together. I loved Dean, wow how the mighty fall hard! I liked how once he gave in to his feelings, he was ALL in 100%. Dean was really sweet making it his goal to get Chloe to smile and see the beauty in the world. Chloe really opened up and trusted Dean despite their past. I liked that when there was conflict it was not drawn out over a long period of time. I loved this couple and the epilogue was sweet! I highly recommend and I can not wait for the next book in the series.
Another success for Crystal Kaswell. Chloe and Dean met in High School, and when he never called her after their night together, Chloe resented him. Years later, Chloe wants to continue her artistic background by becoming a tattoo artist. To do this, she goes to apprentice at the salon owned by Dean and his brother Ryan. Can they be friends, or more? The chemistry is still there, but can Chloe get over the past? I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
