Two years ago she ruined my family’s life. Maybe she thought it was only a little lie. That she did the right thing, that the worst was behind her, that no one had gotten hurt. Oh how naive the black haired beauty was. Fate has finally brought her back to me, to Blackthorn Academy.Once upon a time I was obsessed, consumed with the need to make her mine. Now I just want revenge, and I’ll do …
Now I just want revenge, and I’ll do whatever I can to get it.
You see the beautiful, sweet, Willow doesn’t realize the mistake she’s made yet. She doesn’t realize that she’s entered the lion’s den and there won’t be any escaping her fate.
I’m Parker Rothschild, and I’ll become her nightmare, her enemy, her bully.
By the time I’m finished with her she’ll be begging me for forgiveness and pleading to confess her sins.
*This is a standalone DARK bully romance. This book contains scenes that may be triggering to some readers. This is not a YA romance novel and should be read by those only 18+ or older. *

Holy Bully Romance Baby!! I on a big time Bully kick as of late and this is just what I was hoping it would be and oh so much more.
Parker Rothschild is the ultimate bully. The gorgeous rich god of the school and the guy out to destroy Willow in every way possible. I mean it’s only fair, she destroyed the life of someone dear to him. So an Eye for an Eye! Parker is untouchable, so it doesn’t matter the links in which he will go to to serve up his revenge either. He’s loved and protected by all. The games he’s playing with the beautiful and deliciously innocent Willow are dark and sinister. He will enjoy every. single.second of torture he gets to inflict on her. But is it possible he might start to fall for her somewhere along the way?
Willow is feeling the pressure as well. She shows up to school and comes face to face with Parker. A guy who harbors such deep rooted hatred towards her, she really would love nothing more than to tuck tail and run, but familial obligations prevent her from doing so. Soon she finds herself in a twisted game of cat and mouse. She is being controlled by her father to seduce Parker. She strikes a deal with Parker, the devil himself and it’s all to protect someone she loves. My heart felt like it literally took a beating with a sledge hammer over this character. Everyone was always poo-pooing on her. But she was strong. I loved the fight she had in her. With Parker she gave back at times( not always ) she was a great match for him. Will she bring the god among men, Parker to his knees or will the lines become blurred and she forgets who’s playing who?
All is not as it seems in this book. So be prepared for jaw-dropping moments. That last like twenty five percent y’all. I was so shocked about the turn of events! It was crazy. This book has so much tension and frustration. You seriously want to throttle Parker for like seventy percent of the book. There are moments here and there where you catch glimpses of a good guy underneath but for the most part he is a total bass-turd. In his defense so much is due to misguided protection of the ones he love though. Now, no matter what Parker and Willow were so, so hott!

My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
-This is Bully romance! This is not sweet or sugary! But I happen to love Bully so I am a happy, happy girl!
-OMG!!So some of these scenes are pretty dark! They are straight up smokin’ though Y’all! Boom
Cliffhanger Warning-No cliffhanger! After you have been up and down and turned all around. You get your HEA!
Trigger Warning-This book does have some scenes that could be considered triggers for some. They are fairly graphic. If you have concerns you can PM for more information.
This author duo has done it again! Through the characters of Willow and Parker they have come up with a brilliant plot written in an engaging manner. As the title suggests there shall be some triggers for some people in this story. For me I got to do something I absolutely love doing – reading another dark book from two talented authors.

Just wow! I love when you both get together and and write, it’s like magic.
Another hit for Josi and Cassy. This is a dark read, that will have you gasping, it’s twisted and will leave you reeling. It will leave your jaw dropping. Willow is going to college when she runs into Parker. Parker warns her to leave or else. He wants revenge after she put his brother in jail for something he did against her sister. She doesn’t want to stay at the school, but she has to. Her father is blackmailing her into going to the school so he can get his business back up. All he cares about is himself and no one else. Parker puts Willow through so much that you want to hate him. Then, you hate to love him and love to hate him. It’s a think line between love and hate. Which side will they be on by the end? This has suspense, revenge, lies, hurts, anger, lust, confusion and twists and turns that made me gasp. The writing and storyline were very well written and I did love the characters. I can’t wait to read Warren’s story.
Parker and Willow….wow! What a love/hate relationship and the chemistry between those two….hot! I loved them together and would love to see an extended epilogue. The end was a little shocker, though. I’m also hoping Warren has a story with the mysterious girl who showed up at the end.

J.L. Beck & Cassandra Hallman do it again!! Their stories suck you and then leave you with the worst book hangover. I’m serious! I haven’t been able to get into another book since I finish Hating You.
The story follows Willow and Parker. Willow destroyed Parker and his family in order to protect her sister. Two years later Willow is excited to be starting school away from her manipulating father. Coincidentally, she ends up at the same school as Parker, who hates her. It is his mission to destroy her. He has not forgotten what she did to his family. He makes it his mission to remind her of his hate everyday. Despite his hate for Willow they are drawn to one another. Does their hate develop into love? Will he forgive her? Will she forgive him for all the horrendous things he’s done to her?
This was one outstanding read with a great storyline and well created characters that hooked me right from the very beginning! The chemistry between Willow and Parker was so HOT that I was worried that my kindle would combust before I finished reading the very last page!
Hating You is dark, twisted and oh so delicious! This is Parker and Willow’s story that will take you on a rollercoaster ride with your emotions. Parker is out for revenge against Willow for what she and her sister did to his family. This story has everything drama, lies, passion, twists and turns and steam. This writing duo has written another fabulous, captivating story that kept me fully engaged. I highly suggest if you love dark and twisted bully romances to grab this one!
Dark

Jaw Dropping
Unpredictable
Shocking
Hot ASF
When your life crumbles in front of your face and all you can see, feel is revenge you stop at nothing until you’ve gotten it right?? But what happens when things you thought you knew turn out to be, well… read to find out!! This is a dark, twisted story with an ending I never saw coming!! I can’t bc wait for the next book in this series!!
Wow, what did I just read! This book was a brilliant bully romance /romantic suspense as you just don’t know what is going to happen. At times it is super twisted, passionate and sad with so many emotions thrown in between.
Willow is not your average girl. She only meant to help her sister but somehow has condemned herself to playing a role to not only keep herself safe but her sister too. She is forced into a new school where she comes across Parker Rothschild and from the beginning, he does nothing but try and make her life a misery as does some of the other students around her (the things people do!) Willow has no understanding of what she has done wrong until about 2/3 of the way through when everything comes out into the open and man is it explosive!
Throughout this book, Parker definitely is Willow’s nightmare, but because we see both POV’s throughout the book you kind of come to terms with why he is being the way that he is and you do feel some empathy for him. When everything comes to light though…. OMG, you will be left with your jaw hitting the floor!
I really enjoyed how both Willow and Parker try and keep to their plans and you see how strong and vulnerable they are as characters. My heart broke for Willow as she was put in a position that she just couldn’t get out of and it is heart-breaking to watch and understand what is going on in the background.
If you like dark, bully romances, then this is the one for you. The scenes between the characters are steamy, often punishing but keep you wanting to turn the page to find out what is going to happen. For some people there may be some triggers, so be warned in advance, but you are missing out if you don’t give this book a try!
ARC received for a fair and honest review.

4.5 !!!
I’m pretty sure this just became my favorite book by JL Beck and C Hallman! They definitely showed us more of their dark side in this new college bully romance and I am loving it!
Hating you is a bully romance with a good amount of dark and twisted in it, alone with a sexy, psychotic, alpha male. It definitely walks a fine line with consent but I think they did a great job with it.
“’ . .”
Parker has been holding onto his anger for Willow for 2 years and his hate has only grown as time went on. But when he sees her again, the feelings he had for her before she destroyed his brother’s life begin to grow again and his feelings start to overtake his anger. Soon he’s not sure if he want to give her pain or pleasure, so usually it ends up being a little of both.
“ ’ . ’ .”
Willow knows she should hate Parker seeing as he has been doing a fantastic job of making her life hell since school started. He has tormented her, humiliated her, and claimed to own her (and her body) but she can’t deny how her body craves his.
“ , , .”
Parker and Willow had some hot chemistry weaves into their messed up situation. And despite all the awful up things Parker does, I completely understood why Willow still wanted him!
“ ’ .”
I also did not see the ending coming. I could not put this book down, read it in one sitting, and already want the next book! Each book in the series is it’s own stand-alone and focuses on a new couple.
JL Beck and C. Hallmam sure can write bully romance!
Hating You is an emotional story loaded with secrets, lies, angst and twists and turns that you won’t see coming! It will take you on a wild roller coaster ride! This story was fast paced and I couldn’t stop reading! I’m so looking forward to the rest of the books in the Blackthorn Elite series!

Hating You is a fast paced addictive bully romance and the first in this new series of Blackthorn Elite by JL Beck and C Hallman and let me tell you this book was so good! Willow and Parkers story is off the charts hot! Willow is trying to protect her sister . She is in a tough situation being bullied by her father and her old friend Parker. She has to tread lightly to keep everyone happy. Parker is king of Blackthorn and everyone listens to him . He blames Willow for what happened to his brother and he is out for revenge but he hates her and he wants her even more and this angers him to no end . This story is full of secrets , angst and a shocking twist that you won’t see coming . If you love a good bully romance with suspense and emotional twists that will leave you reeling than this is the book for you !
Oh what an emotional rollercoaster this book takes you on. Parker and Willow bring us on a journey that you do not want to miss. Willow is in college going to get a better hold on her life away from her father but what she doesn’t realize is that being at the college she’s at possibly puts her in a worse situation. Then we have Parker who runs the school and is out for vengeance against Willow for what happened a couple of years before. The ups and downs and twists and turns of this story keep you on edge and turning Pages like you wouldn’t believe you can’t help but want to get to the end and find out what happens. Right when you think you know how things are going to go we get slapped with one last twist none of us saw coming. In ending this review all I’m going to say is thankfully this is a standalone because with that ending twist I don’t know how I could wait for another book the ending was perfect actually the whole book was. Another phenomenal job by these two authors who seem to never disappoint with their writing ability.
Devilishly DELICIOUS!
Intense twisted and unexpected twists that had me shaken with fear and filled with excitement from one nail-biting page to the next. It’s dark devious & hot riddled with angst and heartache and incredibly gripping that me gulping up the pages at lightening speed as the story unfolded at a nice steady pace with a sweet peaceful ending that made all the heartache and chaos worth every amazing word.
Holy moly! This is dark but sweet, obsessive, hot, and a whole lot of everything.
I went through a plethora of emotions. There are some triggers I think but done so tastefully.
I couldn’t put this down and just like Willow, I couldn’t help but question myself as to why it was so enjoyable.
Parker and Willow are both complicated but their pairing worked perfectly and was what each other needed.
5*
Parker is desperate for revenge after Brett was sent to prison and Willow is his target.
Willow has no choice but to follow her father’s request to help her sister Ashton.
Unfortunately both Parker and Willow are unaware of the truth.
I couldn’t put this book down the twists and turns within the story the characters.
The authors have done it again leaving us desperate for Warren’s story!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Loved it.
“We’re chaos riding a slippery slope into hell, and if we’re not careful, we’ll both get burnt to a crisp.”
~Parker~
The push and pull of these two characters is phenomenal. Parker is conflicted about what he’s doing to Willow, but it doesn’t stop him from doing it. To him, she has dues to pay and he’s not going to be satisfied until she’s broken.
Willow just told what she knew and started a war between her and Parker. Her sister was attacked and Willow spoke for her sister. Little did she know the trouble it would cause. Going to that school was supposed to fresh for her, not almost life and death.
I always thought if they would just TALK to each other, and stop with the bitterness, maybe things wouldn’t have gone as far as they did. Have gotten as extreme. But, they don’t talk, they argue, antagonize and push each other, and things get dark for them both.
No matter what they feel for each other on any given day, whether it’s hate, jealousy, lust or just wanting vengeance, they can’t deny the attraction to the other, and that makes things so hard for Willow but also easier in a way.
My heart breaks for both of these characters at times, because neither asked for this. Willow was trying to do the right thing, and now she’s a pawn. Parker, also things he’s doing the right thing. It doesn’t take long for it go beyond revenge to something more. Parker fight with his heart and brain as much as he fights with Willow.
There are some things in the book that may cause triggers for some readers so be cautioned for that. Parker and Willow were meant to be though, and none of the adversities will keep them apart.
