I absolutely, positively, and completely loathe the guy that took my v-card.He was my best friend and I thought we were finally becoming something more.…. Until the morning came and he was gone.Major Morris broke my heart. He was my best friend and we were supposed to do everything together. And apparently that included swiping my v-card.It was incredible, everything I always wanted, except for one … everything I always wanted, except for one small thing.
The next day, he disappeared.
Major Morris is still an a-hole.
We haven’t spoken for seven years and now he’s back in town.
He’s a professional baseball player but an injury has him sidelined.
And apparently he wants to rekindle what we had.
Absolutely no way. Major Morris can go sit on it.
I don’t care if he’s all grown up and even more gorgeous than before.
He can be as sweet and as charming as he wants, but I’m not buying it.
I hate my former best friend and I won’t let him anywhere near me.
Except things are different now. We’re not kids anymore.
I know it’s a mistake, but letting him touch my body makes me remember….
Well, exactly how amazing Major can be.
This is going to end badly, but right now, it feels too good to stop.
This is it! Hating My Best Friend is the steamy friends to lovers romance with all the angsty hotness you’ve been looking for! There’s some swearing, dirty scenes, and it’s off the chart on the heat scale. It’s a standalone and it’s totally safe, so get ready for that HEA!

In this book we meet Sara and Major Morris. These two were friends since they were little. So when it came time to decide if they were going to the same college or what their future would be Sara thought they would both be at Penn State. That is until 2 unexpected things happen that day. First her best friend who had never shown her that he was interested in her not only showed her but he also took her virginity. The second was not only was he not going to Penn State but after he took said virginity he was gone. He had signed a contract to play baseball in the pro league. 7 years later Major is injured and is back in town. Can these two find that they are still each others HEA or will they find that the past is more than they can over come?
This is a great story that shows you that you can’t always take things at face value. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say these characters will be with you long after the story is over. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Major and Sara were best friends and were inseparable. Major and Sara planned to go to Penn State together. Everything changes between them the day Sara gets her acceptance letter to Penn State. Sara gives her virginity to Major only to find out the next day that Major has signed with the New York Yankees. With Major refusing to answer her calls or texts, Sara goes to Penn State vowing to hate the man who used to be her best friend. Seven years later, Major has come back home injured and seeks out Sara. Major thought he was doing what was best for both of them but knows Sara is what he wants and needs in his life. Sara wants nothing to do with Major, but her aunt hires him to make flower deliveries for the shop. The more time Sara and Major spend together, the more the walls around Sara’s heart crumble. Major vows this time around that his father will not bully him into doing what he wants. Can Sara let go of the past and embrace a future with Major? Can Major prove to Sara that she is the only one for him? How will Sara react when she finds out the truth about what Major’s dad did the day Major signed with the Yankees? How will Major’s dad react to the truth about Major’s injury? The chemistry between Major and Sara is HOT! I loved Hating My Best Friend by B.B. Hamel. Hating My Best Friend is entertaining with lots of hot sex and dirty talk that will melt your kindle. I would definitely recommend getting Hating My Best Friend by B.B. Hamel. I received an ARC of this story, and I am leaving my honest review.
I love BB Hamel. I have read several of her books and I knew this one would be just as hot and sexy as the other books in the series. What a couple! Major and Sara turned it out with there sexy antics. I love a dirty talking man. If steamy great times and a good story is what your looking for then hurry up and one click this book. Until next time y’all happy reading.
A second chance baseball romance that steals your heart. The characters of Norwood are relatable and likable. Sara seems to be stuck in life after her best friend abandons their promises for the major leagues and the tragic accident that changed everything else. Major has lived the dream of his dad not the dream of his heart that he buried deep. Now with Major’s career in question he has decisions to make. This is a beautiful story with a happy ending that makes you feel warm inside.
Loved this sassy, sexy second chance romance! Sara and Major were best friends all through school and made plans for college, until one day when they took it a step further. She was in love and he ghosted her, though he never told the reason. Fast forward 7 years and Major is injured and the Yankees pull him from the roster. He knows now is his last chance to go home and try to get Sara back. Their story pulls you in and you can’t help fall for the characters. This is such a great book!
After 5 years of being disappointed and angry with Major, Sara would not be easy with him. But the heart had its ways and she found herself opening to reason. Interesting Sara’s inner struggling and her understanding of Major’s weakness. Liked how Major was facing his problem. A story with drama, strong emotions, romance, lot of heated passion and love. An interesting story that I liked
This was a good second chance romance. It’s also a friends to lovers to enemies to lovers. Major and Sara were best friends and then he left breaking her heart. He is back after seven years and wants Sara back. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get her back. Sara May hate Major, but the connection they had before is still there. They have amazing chemistry. These two were perfect for each other and I am glad to see Major stand up to his father. I really liked the storyline and the characters were fantastic. I loved Sara’s Aunt Dot. She was a hoot. Another great hate love book.
3 1/2 ‘s
So I have to say I did enjoy this story and the premise of it. Two friends that have been together as just friends forever and that are going off to college together. Then something happens that makes them leave each other right before they are about to head off to college.
Sara grows to hate Major with everything she has. But when he comes back after seven years what is she going to do or feel? Major, on the other hand, seems to want to take back up where they left off, friends that just haven’t talked in seven years.
See that is where I have a little bit of a problem. After everything, Sara went through and all the emotions she shows towards Major she seems to take him right back rather it be as a friend or more it doesn’t matter. I found it a little hard to believe. The rest of the story is good; I just had a hard time with that.
This was well written with wonderful characters that use to be best friends. Sara and Major were best friends in high school and planned to go to the same college. Things changed after they slept together which crushed Sara. Several years later Major was injured playing pro baseball and returns to their hometown. Sara is working for her aunt when she hears about Major getting injured. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
A best friend, enemies to lovers?! YES please. I loved this story!! Major and Sara were friends in high school then they ended up “hooking up,” and it ended their relationship. Life goes on and before they know it it’s years later. Major is home, back from his professional career and he and Sara meet again as adults. I loved the dynamics between them and the passion that they had, you could feel their relationship develop, but you can feel the emotions they had both from their previous encounters and their new ones. This is well written and a fun, steamy, sweet story!
Loved Sara and Major story from start to finish, They were best friends in school on till one night change everything, A must read,I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy. another great story BB
Major’s dad went way overboard! He had no right to force his son into so many decisions and life choices with his manipulations. Encouragement is one thing, but the verbal abuse and mind games went beyond what a father should do. I was glad Major pushed back finally (with good reason) to find the life/love he deserved. I was glad Sara took a second chance with Major and listened to him.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
This is a really good second chance sports romance. It’s well-written with wonderful likable characters. Major and Sara were best friends until he ghosts her after their first time together and he goes off to play professional baseball. Now, injured he’s back in town and determined to get his best friend back and to prove that she is his world. Definitely worth a read.
