I loved to hate her…She made it so easy. She was everything I wasn’t—everything I didn’t want to be.A reminder that from the moment I was born, I was the outcast. The rebel.I went against everything that was expected of me and created a life on my terms. I built my own empire, carved out my own destiny. Then she shows up at my tattoo studio, representing everything I tried to escape. She expects … everything I tried to escape. She expects to just fit in… like she ever could.
Tabitha Anderson.
The posh girl trying to prove everyone wrong… that she can be something else—someone else. She hates me because she knows I’m right.
Or so I think. Turns out this isn’t the first time we’ve met, and our hate has history. We have history.
I might not have remembered, but I damn sure won’t forget now. Won’t forget how her smile is always directed at everyone but me.
If everything changes and she proves she does fit in, will it still be hate I’m feeling or something else entirely?
And if I’m wrong, then she’s right where she belongs… with me.
Dear Reader,
Zach’s story is finally here! Hate You is an angst-filled, action-packed, steamy enemies to lovers, best friend’s brother romance. If you’re a fan of dirty-talking, hot alphas then you’ll love Hate You.

I love a good enemies to lovers, and this audio ticked all the boxes. Sexy, judgemental and extremely angry (he lost his temper loud and often), tattoo shop owner, Zachary Abbot thinks he’s got Tabitha ‘Biff’ Anderson sussed as soon as he sees her. Spoilt society princess. He hates her on site. Shame he didn’t take more notice, he might have seen a bit of himself in her, because she’s in exactly the same mindset as he is. Trying to find her way without her family interfering, she’s just going about it in a less dramatic way. There’s a lot of hate between Zack and Biff, with that hate comes a lot of frustration and a LOT of sex. They seem to love to hate each other. Lots of family drama, friendship drama and let’s not forget all the lies and deceit and I’m not talking about just Biff. Addictive and enjoyable, helped by the fact that Shane East narrates Zachary to absolute perfection. I could listen to him all day. Duet narration worked so well with this story.
What an incredible story!! I loved everything about it. Zach and Tabitha are the type of couple who when they say they hate each other, you just know they are lying. These two have such incredible chemistry it is mind blowing. Zach owns and runs several tattoo parlors and one day Tabitha just happens to walk into one of his. Thing is, she remembers him from the past, but he doesn’t. Can she keep that to herself, and not let him know who she is? I loved their interactions, their wit, their lust and their love. I highly recommend this book, it will make you laugh and cry and give you all the best feels in the world!
In true Tracy Lorraine fashion, Hate You, brings the heat at a five-alarm fire level! Tabitha struggles to find her way in the world while working to obtain her Masters degree. While she knows what she likes to do, it isn’t necessarily what is expected of her by her snobbish parents. To them her love of art is a passing fancy until Tabitha locks down a rich husband and becomes a kept woman. In a spontaneous act of rebellion she accepts a job at a tattoo parlor, Rebel Ink. Low and behold the owner of said parlor is none other than Zach Abbot, someone that Tabitha knows, even if Zach doesn’t remember her. Zach instantly hates her, on principle alone, and thus a tumultuous enemies to lovers relationship is born.
Hate You sets the stage beautifully for future books in the Rebel Ink series. While Tabitha and Zach are the main characters, Lorraine ensures that you are thoroughly invested in all of their friends and what the future holds for them. I would love to get Danni and all the tattoo artist’s stories. I’m not sure when the next book comes out, but I’m definitely keeping my eye out for it!
Rating: 4.5 Stars
The author has written a note that’s very important for readers to pay attention to. I read it but personally I had no issue. But it did help me to remember the characters speak with an accent.
Tabitha seems a little pensive. She seems to be putting on a good front for her friends. Then something happens to change the funk she’s in. Not long into her story, the author had me wanting to pack my bags and explore the places this character has been.
Zach Abbot seems to think his word is law. But that was before he met her. It was fun to watch his brick wall crumble when the right person has entered his world. You’ll love to get to know the people he works with. I could picture wanting to sit in his shop all day listening to them banter back and forth.
Our author has done a fantastic job of making me laugh. It was a great way to keep the scenes moving. The heat she created between her main characters was intense but it’s not all that this story is about. We get to know who they are as individuals and what their thoughts and yearnings are. I loved how the ending of this story blends into the beginning of the next. A great incentive to read this series in order.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
This is book 1 in the Rebel Ink series. I started with book 2 so I knew a little of Tabitha and Zach’s story going into the book. Zach is a total alpha but he is also a successful business owner that his hidden who he really is from his family. Tabitha have lived under her parents thumb for long enough and she is ready to live her own life. There was tons of passion in the story. The plot twist was great and completely unexpected. If you are looking for an enemies to lovers book with tons of chemistry this is your book!
This awesome story had lots of highs and lows emotions wise! Our leading guy is definitely put through the ringer a bit. Our leading lady is only part of that! She also has to go through a few things before we come out the other side with love.
Hate is such a strong emotion that sometimes hides many others. This story shows is this in many ways.
Big props for the humor moments, the high intensity heated moments and for those emotionally charged moments that get us to the end.
Hate you is not exactly what you expect when reading, but it’s about finding your place in a world you are running from or so it seems. When Tabitha or Biff to her friends is told to spread her wings and fly by the only person who knows that she hates the stereotypical life she is told to live and expected to live. Its time for her to break the chains and do what’s best for her, but with that comes the unexpected territory she never thought in a million years she would be in.
Is it possible that Biff can tame the Devil or ruin everything she is working towards? Will, she let her angelic ways show or will she let her bad girl side, show who she really is and totally be free?
Zack has a reputation of being the Rich boy who is nothing that you would expect, a man on a mission to prove that he is more than his family. Never one to show his true self until a specific angel shows up. He is not only intrigued but also on a mission to destroy her. While finally finding out that his Rich life is not as it should seem, secrets are revealed that could bring his world crashing down.
Can Zach be the one to destroy the only angel to really see him for who he is or will she be the one to Ruin him for all time?
Tracy Lorraine is a new to me author and I can’t wait to read the next installment in Rebel Ink. Hate you has been a fun read and characters you will have a insta love for. Full of quirky dialog that will have you rooting for the characters to decided to fall in hate together.
From the get go Tabitha aka Biff (FMC) & Zach seem to rub each other up the wrong way. Zach has a preconceived idea of the type of person she is even if its a stereotype and based on the way he was brought up. I really liked Biff’s character though. Shes smart, quick witted and also caring too. Which im surprised about with some of the crap Zach put her through and their history together. Still i couldnt help but want to see these two characters get over their problems and get together. A damn good read
5 STARS
OH MY REBEL STARS! This is by far my most favourite audiobook! Like Holy Hotness…the dual narration between Shane East and Kylie Stewart was superb! Zach and Tabitha’s story was all consuming! I definitely need more from the Rebel Ink series! Hate You by Tracy Lorraine is a monumentally EPIC listen/book and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
I’ve read books by this author before and I really enjoy reading them
and this one did not disappoint. I couldn’t put this book down right from the beginning.
I absolutely love this authors work and her style of writing and I always look forward to reading her books. This is book one in the Rebel Ink Series and I really can’t wait to read book two.
This is the story of Biff and Zach.
Tabitha ‘ BIFF ‘ – When she gets the job at the tattoo studio she’s chuffed to bits, that is until a few days later her boss comes into the studio and tells everyone that they can’t have a princess wannabe being the face of the company. However there is only one problem with with that Tabitha doesn’t take it lying down.
She stood up for herself to him and when she next comes in, she has gave herself a make over. Clothes, hair make up you name it she’s done it and now he can’t get her out of his head and she hates him.
Zach is her boss and the owner. All he thinks is that she’s just a posh girl trying to prove to everyone that she’s not some stuck up posh girl and that she can be just normal.
Once they start working together he can’t get her out of his head, he wants her and he definitely doesn’t want anyone else to have her.
Can these two put everything there feeling aside and work side by side?
(NO SPOILERS).
I absolutely loved reading this book and really loved the characters. I loved seeing the journey that these two characters go on the hate the love and I especially love Biff. I really liked her and the fact that she didn’t take no crap from anyone.
This book is told from different points of view which I always prefer and I can’t wait for the next book in this series is with Danni and Titch and I cant wait to read it.
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read and early copy of this book.
An amazing, addictive, and absolutely fantastic read! The story line is action-packed, steamy, drama-filled, and gripping with secrets, deception, suspense, surprises, various emotions, humour, passion, and more. You will be pulled into the story and kept upright on the edge of your seat eagerly turning the pages to find out what happens next. The characters are complicated, strong, deep, and layered; you will find yourself liking and rooting for them. This is a MUST READ!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tabitha comes from a wealthy family. But she doesn’t want to follow her family’s expectations. Her interests do not match her family’s. Yet she dresses and conforms to their wants. Needing a change, she applies and gets a job at a tattoo shop as a receptionist. Things are going well when the owner arrives and is immediately rude to her and wants her gone. Tabitha is taken aback then gets a back bone and decides to show him. Meanwhile Zack is trying to deny his attraction. He has rebelled against his family and all it stands for and has made a name for himself with his tattoo shops. The last thing he needs is to get involved with the very thing he is trying to get away from. I thought Zack was very harsh and yet Tabitha kept running back to him even though he treated her shamelessly. Their relationship was emotionally abusive which made it hard for me to like Zack. Story was good but just couldn’t get over Zack’s mean attitude.

3.5 stars. I rounded up because the H didn’t flaunt his past around a lot and as soon as he met the h he didn’t look at anyone else. I really like that. There was a lot of hate between the two of them, I’m just not sure I totally understand why. The heat between them you could feel right away though. Tabby was a wealthy girl and Zach didn’t like that. He wanted nothing to do with anything that reminded him of his past. They both had misconceptions about the other and it was hard to read some of the things he said to her. You knew he was just fighting his feelings, but the question I had was.. why?
Zach is a tattoo artist with a secret that he is hiding. Tabitha is a rich girl that wants to escape the pressure from her family. Tabitha wants to be able to live her own life and not what her parents want her to do. Tabitha gets a job at the tattoo shop as there new receptionist. Zach is shocked to see Tabitha in his tattoo shop because she doesn’t seem to belong in a place like that. Zach and Tabitha have a love hate relationships and that relationship turns into so much as you read this book. Will there own secrets back fire on what they have and will family drama be to much for them to handle. The chemistry between Zach and Tabitha is hot, intense and steamy. I loved reading this book and it gets you hooked right away.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Hate you was steamy, captivating and messy. Messy in the way, that the characters honestly just didn‘t know what they wanted. It‘s a really good Enemies to Lovers story and they keep hating eachother for a long time even between sexy time which I absolutely love!
Zach is a complex character. He has commitmen issues, is broody as hell and he feels different from his family. He‘s the owner of the tattoo studi Rebel Ink where we first meet him and alot of our second characters. He‘s everything your posh parents wouldn‘t want and that‘s exactly what draws our heroin to him.
Tabitha is at first this typical posh girl, but she quickly becomes one of my favorite characters because she see‘s a challenge and takes it. Zach and her are perfect for eachother even though both of them don‘t realise it.
The story between them is veeery steamy and captivating. Once your in the book you don‘t want to stop. You need to see what‘s in store for them. I also love that there was a twist in the story that I honestly didn‘t see coming which makes this book even better because it has an element of surprise to it.
5 out of 5
Tracy Lorraine delivered such a captivating read. Tabitha and Zach have such a hate/lust relationship. The author creates another masterpiece in which you find yourself falling for both the hero and heroine. The secondary characters were amazing and you can’t help but get excited for their books. All in all the people of Rebel Ink are not to be missed. You need this book and the characters in your life. Broody ahole and Sassy Princess. It’s a match made in hell. Haha. I loved every minute of this epic read!
Hate You is a page-turner, it is addictive, steamy, has wonderful characters that make you laugh out loud and share their pains and sadness.
Zach and Tabitha are explosive together, from the moment they meet right up to the end of the book.
I totally enjoyed reading this!!
Hate You is the first book in the “Rebel Ink Series” by Tracy Lorraine and I’m already addicted to this series and can’t wait for what’s on store for the rest of the guys.
This book is perfection and Zach and Tabitha are explosive together.
Bad boy wants good girl and good girl falls for the bad boy.
The banter between these two addictive and I just wanted more and more. The story pulled me in and I didn’t want to let go.
What Zach and Tabitha had in common is that they felt like they didn’t fit into what their families social lives expected of them. They both had their own dreams and neither of them was looking for love in the contrary they both hated each other, but there is a thin line between hate and love.
They complement each other so well and their chemistry was off the charts sexy and addictive.
This book it’s a MUST READ!!!!
Tabitha is heartbroken at her gran’s beside, watching her take her last breathes. She is the only one who encouraged Biff’s art and understands her desire to be free of the world of her parents’ expectations. They’ve already picked out the man that she should marry, for heaven’s sake. Gran’s final words tell her to “Spread your wings and fly, Tabby Cat.” She’s in her Master’s program, studying art, but in need of a job, when she walks past a tattoo parlor that’s hiring. She’s immediately hired and is so eager to get started, that she spends the rest of the day organizing and cleaning. The boss, Zach Abbot, has been in the United States, looking over his American parlors, but returns the next day and his first thought, as he walks through the door in the morning, is something happened in here, that’s for sure. He’s never seen the studio so clean. One glance at the new admin, Tabitha, and he’s reminded of the snooty and privileged life he wants to leave behind and wants her fired. Too feisty to let him speak that way to her, she lets him know she’s not a pushover. Mutual hate takes hold between them and it’s going to get much more interesting, if that’s even possible. There’s only one problem with this entire situation. Zach’s little sister, Danni, is Biff’s best friend, but she’s certainly not going to let on that she’s working for him. Zach’s family doesn’t really have any idea who or what he is. He’s been the non-conformist who doesn’t quite fit in with their style, their thinking and how they expect his future to be one of working for the family’s antique business. They think he’s wasting his life, living off his trust fund. He has a chip on his shoulder and it’s making life difficult for all of them. There’s something about being with Biff that comforts him, but terrifies him at the same time. They are explosive together in every way, but sometimes it’s a little too much. I often want to get in Zach’s face and let him know just what a douche he is in his cold and cruel treatment of his Kitten. Even though guilt grabs him and he tries to be all nice, again, there are times that I don’t trust his words. It just proves how conflicted he is and how well he is portrayed. Biff is smart, and yet foolish, when she walks away after being insulted. She’s a better person than I could ever be. This is the thinking that results from being thoroughly vested in a story. It couldn’t have had a more beautiful conclusion and the happy twist it takes had me in happy tears.
Biff short for Tabitha has lost the only person who pushed her to live her life and not the one her rich posh parents want. Her degree isn’t what they want she should either go to work for one of her dads friends or get married to some boring wealth posh guy who spends all his time having affairs Biff hates the idea of that life she loves Art and has everything layed out finish at Uni and get her Art degree but after that she doesn’t know. But her life will go in another direction after a night out with friends she sees and advert on a tattoo parlor door needing and admin what she doesn’t know is the owner is someone from her past they went to school together Zack.
Zack hates everything that has to do with the wealthy he came from money but has never fit in and when he sees one of his guys has hired a posh new admin he flips its ever thing he hates but when she comes back looking anything but posh it drives him nuts she won’t take any of his crap which makes him want her all the more they may can’t stand each other but they can’t stay away from each other either. Biff may know who he is but he doesn’t even remember her from school and after a huge blow up between then and night of passion Zack runs from his feelings but when his life turns upside down with a family secret Biff is the only thing that holds him together. Loved this story the family dynamic the drama and the intense love between Biff and Zack. Would have loved to have read about Biff’s parents reaction to her marriage and future career can’t wait to see whats ahead for Stich and Dani.
I received and advance copy of this book via booksprout also purchased a copy.
