Our love wasn’t enough. He had demons. I had hopes. Together we were never meant to be. That didn’t stop us, though. Even when it should have. Even when I saw those demons loud and clear. I should have stayed away. Should have never looked back. But love, it’s a fickle thing. And sometimes… You need to embrace the darkness. Or let it destroy you. I was drunk once. Now, I’m sober.
Hate Sober is book 2 in the Love Me Duet. This book has you still reeling from the first book desperate for more, and more is what you get.
Everly struggles to come to terms with the way Gunner treats her, she loves him with all her heart and body, however it’s her mind that struggles with his sexual dominate desires.
There’s is a journey which takes you on a emotional ride filled with heartache loss and love and the lengths you go for the one you love. A highly recommended read.
Wow just WOW! Mind blown. What an amazing duet. T.L. finished Hate Sober strong and still left me wanting more. Secerts are exposed and there is hell to pay. Guys, you have to read Love Drunk and Hate Sober, you won’t be disappointed.
This book must be read after Love Drunk. Once I started I could not put this book down it had me with my heart just about beating out of my chest and my anxiety levels were at an all time high. This book had me mesmerised by every word. When Everly is left feeling like her whole world is shattered she decides that she needs to be sober and the only way she can do that is she needs to leave Gunner. He however is not willing to let go of her without a fight. Will this pair ever be able to move on or will they be Love Drunk forever. This duet I feel is TL Smith’s best work so far, an absolutely captivating story that will have you enamoured just as I was.
