“‘Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Just stick out your wand hand, step on board and we can take you anywhere you want to go.’”
When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it’s the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of … and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run – and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry’s tea leaves … But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss …

After resisting Harry Potter for SO LONG (I’ve always been pretty skeptical of hyped fads), one day freshman year of high school I randomly picked up my dad’s copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I read the first chapter, in which Harry opens all sorts of magical birthday presents from his friends. J.K. Rowling’s fun, British, quirky …
The third installment of JK Rowling’s famous series is one of my favorites. The exciting twists and turns had me reading this book nonstop from start to finish. I remember picking it up around lunchtime and barely even stopped for meals because I just HAD to finish it
Read this one in one day – loved it.
This third book in this series is where things start getting into a higher age and becomes more adult in situations that are presented. Harry and friends are still young teens, however, Harry finds he has a Godfather he never knew and that perhaps he might engage in more activities at school since his Godfather could sign off on his being able to …
I have read these books again and again but I never get bored
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
i have a copy of it at home and i am like halfway through it and i think it is a wonderful harry potter book by the way my brother has to be forced to read in order for him to actually read and sometimes he fakes him reading the book he was supposed to read.
I thought that this book gave me a shock when a twist happened and I think that’s what I like so much about this book.
Well, ( pls take me seriously*) I love it!
* – Only true Harry Potter fans will understand it.
thanks
I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read.
This book has to be my favorite out of all the Harry Potter books. It’s very exciting. And once you start reading, you won’t want to stop.
it was the best
Amazing. I thought Sirius Black was a murderer, but he was Harry’s godfather.
Love these books
So amazing! I love it so much!!
I loved this book so much it was one of the best books that I have read so far
So fun revisiting these!!!
Harry Potter is my all time favorite series, and I’ve read them all multiple times, but I memorize the films. The Prisoner of Azkaban is still quite similar to its film counterpart, though there are a few small sub-plots from the book that didn’t make it on-screen. It’s also the first book in the series that’s more plot …
“OMG — Not another book review on Harry Potter.” *or* “OMG — I LOVE HARRY POTTER”
I bet you just said something along those lines… Me too. But I have to do this for two reasons: (1) It’s Harry Potter and (2) I committed to writing a real review for every book I’ve read and I’m only on 202 of 454. Slap me please. But when I’m done, not quite …
During Harry’s third year at Hogwarts, he finds himself a danger from an escapee from the wizard prison Azkaban. Will this dangerous man find him? Another fun book with some surprises that up the overall story.
