Knowing the series is coming to an end, part of me wants to savor it, but alas, such an enticingly woven tale, the darkness that were in… full steam ahead! Relationships between characters, backstories, curses and secrets. So much packed into this book. I’m off to the last one!
Another great Harry Potter tale.
Well…I don’t even know where to start with my review of this book. Normally, I take a few notes while reading–just things I want to make sure I remember when I’m writing the review–things I really liked or things I didn’t like. I didn’t write any notes for half of this book, because I was just so caught up in the ride. So suffice it to say: I …
This book is really good but it made me cry at the end for dumbledore after he died ( sorry if I spoiled the ending) but to me everything’s just all well put together in all the harry potter books i wish they could go on forever!!!!
I loved all of the Harry Potter books!!!
Disappearances, murders and Dementors on the loose has the wizarding world in a panic – they all know now that Voldemort has returned and is out to rule them all.
Whispers of Harry being the Chosen One, the only one who can defeat Voldemort, fills their world. The new minister for magic doesn’t care whether it’s true or not: he wants Harry to …
Love the Harry Potter books.
Loved all the Harry Potter books! Read several times!
Another complex, interesting, fun-loving, witty, entertaining story in the Harry Potter Series. The characters are family now! I’m not sure why I waited until I was 56 to begin reading the series.
This is my favorite Harry Potter book. Story line great.
I am 8 years old. Lots of people said no little kid like you can read big kid books. Now through J.K Rowling’s books I now read lawyer documents but your books will always be my favorite! [BTW I am ten now]
Loved it!!!
I can reread all of these books over and over. The characters are my family now.
I love it!!!
I’m a huge fan!!!!!!!!
Revelations abound in this installment, some surprising & some sad. A major character really shines in this one.
Like my previous Harry Potter book reviews, I’m quite aware of how late I am to the hype train. Years. But I’m a-ok with that, as it allowed me to digest this story at my own. I’d only ever watched the movies, read none of the books. …

I havn’t read it, let me read it online.

Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince
I’ve read the series I don’t know how many times, (just not since joining Goodreads).
Soul crushing end. So sad.
I think this book was so pivotal for Harry. Though with how difficult his life had been, and how grown up he was in so many ways. After the this book, though he was still only a teen, he was aged …
Another year at Hogwarts, another year of Voldemort’s reign. The story is deeper than ever, and with the maturing trio comes realizations that every teenager must come to terms with about growing up. Add in friendship, rivals, and romance, and this is a great look at different universal truths that surround getting older.
The pressure increases …
