“‘Give me Harry Potter,’ said Voldemort’s voice, ‘and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded.’”As he climbs into the sidecar of Hagrid’s motorbike and takes to the skies, leaving Privet Drive for the last time, Harry Potter knows that Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters are not far behind. The protective … behind. The protective charm that has kept Harry safe until now is broken, but he cannot keep hiding. The Dark Lord is breathing fear into everything Harry loves and to stop him Harry will have to find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes. The final battle must begin – Harry must stand and face his enemy …

I stand in awe of this book and JK’s remarkable talent. She’s also just plain cool. A true inspiration.
I’ve read many books in one sitting, but one that was the most memorable was the last Harry Potter book. I was TERRIFIED of spoilers. I didn’t even go to the midnight release party because I was afraid of driveby spoilers. I went to the Borders on Boylston Street (I miss that place!) when it opened the next day, and I vividly remember clutching …
Excellent way to tie up the whole series was sad that it had to end but it was an amazing story and series
What can one say about this book, and the entire series (and beyond) that hasn’t been said? I loved this one because it really did answer questions, tie up loose ends, and manage to close on a positive note. Of course, this has been a phenomenon of incredible proportions, but the thing it gave me, was something to discuss with my granddaughters …
An amazing ending to my favorite book series in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
It’s J.K. Rowling we are talking about. Of course this book is amazing!

If you haven’t loved the Harry Potter series are you really a reader?
What’s a book that you’ve read in one sitting? I read the last two Harry Potter books right after I got them in one sitting. Could not put them down.
@jon Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a good book but so is
I love the Harry Potter series, but this one is my favorite! It’s super long and I can never put it down! Definitely meant for older kids, at least in my opinion.
This is the Best book I ever read. If you hadn’t read the Harry Potter series read it.
Many people have been murdered in the battle of Hogwarts which makes it sad but it was also unpredictable because Harry apparently defeated Lord Voldermort finally So the book has both sad and happy endings.
Amazing final book!! I loved every single Harry Potter book!!
I read this 20 times
Ah! So very satisfying!!!
I’d forgotten quite a bit of this one, even though I’ve seen the films several times. I remembered all the major plot points, but there were a good many nuances and crucial explanations I got to rediscover, which made this read-through feel fresher to me than any of the preceding six. But I’ll first mention the things I …
4+ out of 5 stars to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and supposedly final book in 2007 by J.K. Rowling. But then “Cursed Child” came out last year… so is a series really over? Not in our hearts and minds, my friends… neither shall this one be… and although I considered spending a huge part of today drafting a very thorough …
I dont have a lot to say other than this book really got to me. I cried, I laughed, i wanted to throw it but I made it to the end. It really sucked you in but the end was meh. I wish it could have had a better ending.. so I say 4/5 stars
A beautiful conclusion to an amazing series. For those of you that haven’t read the series, you are really missing out. This has got to be my favorite series of all time.
