This book made me smile.
This book was a delight to read. Harriet Beamer is my new literary hero. The gal’s got spunk. I’m definitely reading the next book in the series & checking out this author’s other work. I bet the research for this book was a lot of fun.
I love Harriets spunk. Sharing her adventure through letters to her deceased husband was a great adventure for her readers.
Harriet always adventuresome & seems to always trying to help everyone she meets. Love this book. Very entertaining and I could not wait to read & see what Harriet was going to find herself involved in the next time! Hope there are more of these books with Harriet!!
I loved the light heartedness. I had just finished several “heavy” subject books and Harriet gave me the lift I needed. I felt like I wanted to jump on the bus with her.
a cute story, fun to read, I could relate to Harriet’s situation so it was extra funny.
This may be one of the funniest books I have ever read. I could identify with Mrs Beamer’s dilemma of leaving her old life behind and making new memories as she ‘buses’ toward her new life across the country. What a laugh out loud cast of characters! You will remember this one. Made me want to go buy a bus ticket to somewhere I have never been!!!
Fun to read, especially if you are in Harriet’s stage of life.
Very entertaining!!! Harriet is a spunky widow!! I look forward to reading more in this series!
I so enjoyed reading about Harriet a fun loving kind lady out for an adventure traveling her way!!!
A fun read!
I wish I was as brave as Harriet! I would love to go on an adventure half as much fun as the one Harriet had! Fun read!!
I laughed the whole way through this book, probably because I’m 71 and can see myself in Harriet s shoes!
I really enjoyed this book. The adventures made me wish she was a real person and I could just have a conversation with her.
I laughed so hard and recommended it to several friends who have enjoyed it too. Harriet gets into some unusual circumstances, but she perseveres and along the way to California you get to tag along on her wonderful adventures. A great read!
I enjoyed it very much
Light hearted easy read.
Encourages the desire to do something outside our comfort zones!
Fun, easy to read .
The character Harriet shows that no matter how old you are that when you put your mind and faith to something it can be done. It’s a light easy read story. I enjoyed it.
