Interesting story involving five women who decide to live communally. Explored many aspects that should be considered when making such a decision and also offered a believable story line.
Handles a concern of current seniors in a sensitive and doable way.
Great book. Interesting women.
A little slow at times, but a good read. I appreciate series of books, but this left too much unsaid.
I enjoyed this book It was a good story without having to be based on a murder or a tragedy. I would read the rest in the series if my public library had them.
Loved the book.
The premise of several women living together as an alternative to elderly care was intriguing. I have gone on to purchase the rest of the series 🙂 I’m on book 3 now. I would definitely purchase again!
I enjoyed this book very much and can’t wait to read he sequel.
Such a delightful read! It kept my interest throughout. Just a really homespun sort of book; no graphic sex or violence, but full of everyday life. Now I’ll have to order the 3 sequels!
Original and timely. Enjoyable. Easy read
I hope I can buy all of the series.
This book makes growing older less onerous. It reflects how we can take control, make new friends & recreate ourselves & our lives. The characters are inspirational, enjoyable & fun.
I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. It addressed a lot of problems that women must deal with later in life.
great
Good read
This was a Fabulous Book. Can’t wait to read any sequels to this book. Couldn’t put this book down. Amazing writing.
This was a really nice book, free of sex with just a little intrigue! I can so see a bunch of women or sisters living in a home like this!
Easy reading and informative.
Really interesting topic – I liked the characters and I thought it was realistic. The writing style is a little stilted but I got used to it and overall enjoyed the book.
As a single senior woman I found this book intriguing. I had never thought of the solution which Hillary and Mavis found for senior living. Their careful planning could serve as a guide for more women in their retirement years. Now I want to read the two sequels!
