I loved this book. Wonderful idea for women who are alone. I didn’t want the book to end.
Great idea for those of us aging. Loved the characters and their individual strengths.
I did not like his book. It as boring.
Ruth Hay is my new favorite author!
Interesting plot of mature women supporting each other by living together. I enjoyed reading about how they went about It.
Very thought provocative in the age we are living now. There are so many women who are barely surviving and the thought of pooling resources to make retirement easier is reasonable.
A fast read for a slow reader
I enjoyed this book! Just because one grows older, doesn’t mean nursing facility! The characters are feisty and I can see them doing just what they want, too. Living together and keeping each other company while enjoying the others skill set is a smarter approach to living through the golden years.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Harmony House. Two ladies, good friends, took the idea of seeking others and finding a home where they could all live together in harmony, but have their own space.
The characters had unique personalities, most were kind, thoughtful and helpful to each other. The book was very interesting, entertaining and easy to read.
I really wanted to like this book. The premise was interesting. The book however was long-winded and boring. I was ready for the book to be over at about the half way point. It was just tedious. I won’t be reading any other books in this series.
It was a feel-good read. Great perspective on living arrangements and human dynamics.
I can see this happening as we all get older and sometimes end up alone. Really liked the concept.
I liked at ladies in the book – each had a unique story and it showed that we have to look at other ways to live as we get older and that is okay.
A whole new experience beyond the narrow aging process. Love these women and how they build a new golden life for themselves in there shared home.
This story was so much fun. Loved how the women go about finding one another and helping each other.
What a great idea–Srs. taking care of Srs. Well written and thought out
An inventive solution to housing for our ageing population and a lot of fun to read.
Good story, realalistic people & no vulgar words.
Being at this place in my life I enjoyed the innovative cooperation in this story. Liked it a lot
I really enjoyed this book! So much that I read the remaining 3 books in the series. I liked the characters and the premise of the book was different from a lot of contemporary fiction that’s out there. The story was intriguing. If you’re looking for a good clean read with interesting characters, this is the book/series for you!
