I enjoyed the story very much. I’ve thought of something like this for myself and home. With the situation of getting older and what we can afford it just makes sense to combine gifts/talents/abilities and resources to help each of us get older. I look forward to reading Book 2
Great story.
I really do like a good story. Really, a good story. These characters are believable and real and it is a charming story about women living on their own and being creative about it! It is an easy read that is just entertainable…which is what I want right before bedtime.
Refreshing and original.
unrealistic
Loved this story of women finding their own way with friendship and compassion.
This was a really interesting book about 6 women finding and moving into a forever home together. They have different backgrounds and different abilities and yet they are able to pool their resources and come up with a lovely affordable home that is most suitable
I enjoyed this story greatly. It was interesting to read how the home owners were selected and how their lives became entertained even before they moved in together. The story was complete and yet left loose ends for another part of the story.
Absolutely loved this very original story! I’ve never read a book with this story line…and I really enjoyed the characters. Just an all around good read.
Enjoyed the premise and the depth of each main character. Looking forward to reading the sequels although each book is a solid stand alone story.
Great story about the 6 ladies!
I very much enjoyed this book – original story, wonderful characters, and I hope to read the next in the series soon.
A great read! Women caring about one another. All needing friendship and a family environment. Plenty of fear and fin thrown in. Best new idea I have read in ages.
good story
Really enjoyed this book. Loved the characters. I’m even going to buy the next books in the series, an unusual move.
It hit close to home as I am a widow.I could imagine living the same way these women did.
Simple plot but tackled an issue of arranging lifestyles in later life that bring joy. Food for thought. Enjoyed how they went about finding 6 women to share living arrangements.
I loved the theme of the book, but not all the characters were well developed and the way the characters spoke was old fashioned and kind of stuffy. It was confusing with the location of the town as well. It wasn’t until half way through that I figured out it was set in Canada and not in England.
Interesting journey of several women who are single looking for the companionships of similar women. Characters are well developed.
A lovely group of women. They are shown as real people with flaws but work together to make a home.
