How do you choose between two women, when only the love of both will bring you harmony? Cameron was born a falcon shifter, but when his arrogance prompted a total disregard for safety, he was attacked by a bear shifter. Living with two predatory animals who want control makes it hard to find peace. When he meets the new chef, Eliza, his bear recognizes his mate, but his falcon longs for Skylar, a … for Skylar, a love from his past. When an opportunity presents itself that will make all the three happy, Eliza’s heart fights against her traditional upbringing, and she retreats into fear and uncertainty. Skylar knows their unique love will work. But first she must break through the walls Cameron and Eliza built, but that won’t be easy when Cam’s heart is split in two and Eliza refuses to believe she deserves happiness. Can three unique hearts turn their back on tradition and forge a new type of bond in order to bring harmony to their lives?
This is a standalone within a series. It does not need to be read in order. However, there are details that are mentioned in this book that will reference events in previous books. These details do not change the plot of this story.

An interesting concept to a shifter containing two animal souls.
Cameron, like his brothers, was born a falcon. However, after a stupid altercation with bear he was bitten and now is split between two animals.
Both his animals long for a mate, but each one longs for a different woman.
The bear in him calls to the bear in Eliza, the resorts newest chef. But the falcon in him calls to Skylar, a woman he’s previously been with.
Once again lack of details killed this story for me. I wanted to see a bit of Cameron and Skylar’s history together. Not once is it ever mentioned previously that him and Skylar had such a history that they were considering mating, but then Eliza comes into the picture and their relationship is thrown away so Cameron can pursue her. When the book first begins we are already dumped right into Eliza and Cameron’s relationship (maybe they’ve been dating a month?) and while I can understand shifters know their mates instantly there’s no build up. No getting to know you phase.
Book 2 in this series does not disappoint. With Cameron having both a falcon and a bear he is confused on many levels. He has feelings for both Skylar and Eliza but …. Skylar is the first to come to terms with the fact she is his falcon mate and Eliza is his bears mate. The story had a good flow and kept my interest. Looking forward to book 3 and the continued story of this family.
I love the connection that Skylar Eliza and Cameron share. The flow and pacing of this series is excellent.
