Good book
They went in an unexpected direction but I really enjoyed this entire series. Liked all the characters very much.
This trilogy by Meli Raine was a reverting and suspenseful story and checked all the boxes for great characters, entertaining page turner, tragic circumstances and more. A story based on tragedy which forced this young woman, Lindsay Bosworth, to retreat from the world unable to handle the fallout from rape thinking her boyfriend was one of the rapist. Drew retreated into his own world dealing with the aftermath surrounding the circumstances and vowing to help Lindsay overcome the situation and obtain justice for both. A totally emotional storyline as they once again meet and deal with the rapists along with her precarious relationship with her parents as well as their feelings for each other.
I loved these 3 books. I highly recommend!
Wow, what a trip! I am so glad that all three books were put together to listen since I would have died with the cliffhangers the first two left. I really enjoyed all the twists and turns that this series kept taking and the way everything wraps up at the end is perfect.
Great suspense. This series keeps you on the edge of the chair the whole time, it is so intense and well written. So hard to know who to trust. Lovely romance.
I never wanted this book to end. I could not get enough of Lindsey and Drew. Lindsey is sent away to protect her father’s political career. When she is brought home, to help him reach the presidency, her memories start to return. Her attack is gruesome, hard to get through, but it weaves this story together. I was captivated from the first chapter and I could not let go until the end. Talk about a book hangover. Drew and Lindsey have a past that they both survived, but each one remembers it differently. As the tangled web unravels, my heart broke more for the two of them. The suspense enhances the drama and all the feels. This is one rollercoaster you do not want to miss.
Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are an amazing narrating team. The first book is all Andi, the second book is all Sebastian, but the last book is both of them. The narration was amazing. Hearing Andi as Lindsey truly brought her to life. Sebastian narrates Drew’s point of view in such a gripping way, I felt as if I was there inside the book. When Andi and Sebastian narrate the third book together, it is the perfect combination to conclude this intense story.
* AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *
I like this story it has nail biting suspense but also to much inner dialogues. That’s why it ended up with 4 stars.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and good dialogues even if it’s to much.
Characters is well described and has their flaws like we all have.
Some hot chemistry between the main characters but not over the top.
Narrators:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings

Four years ago Lindsay’s life as she knew it was brutally taken from her buy people she knew and trusted. For four years she was hidden away from the world in a mental prison, but now she is set free to go on with her life, or that is what she thought. Lindsay is still a prisoner, kept in her childhood home under heavy security. She has become a puppet in the hands of her parents and her tormentors. Nothing is what it seems, and nobody is to be trusted, not even Drew, the man she loves. This trilogy is intense, with so many twists and turns, loads of suspense and nobody trustworthy. Great series.
The Harmless Series Boxed Set
By: Meli Raine
Narrated by: Andi Arndt, Sebastian York
I am a Meli Raine lover, and this 3 book set is one of the best listens I have heard in a long time. She has a knack for pulling me in and keeping me captivated for hours. This trilogy has the first book told in Lindsey’s point of view, the second in Drew’s point of view and the last they alternate. Lindsey is the senator’s daughter and after a malicious attack is whisked away to prevent any damage to his career. Now several years later, she is brought home so his declaration to run for president can include all of the “happy” family. What we don’t know is what really happened to Lindsey, how her boyfriend, Drew fit in and why it happened. It’s fast paced, has a some scenes that are graphic and will make you cringe and an outcome that is so satisfying you will be smiling. Give this a listen, you too will be fascinated by the complexity of politics and what ends Lindsey and Drew will do to find their happiness.
Narrated by the incredible team of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, there was not a scene that is not perfectly crafted. These two work so well together, and play off each other that it’s like they are actually the characters telling the story. It’s a performance you do not want to miss.

A Harmless Little Game (Harmless, #1):
4 stars
While this one is totally different from the previous boxset I’ve read, it was still a good intro into this (Harmless) Series. Def. is a more sensitive subject. I just felt things moved a bit slower around the halfway mark. Towards the end of course is when things pick up.
A Harmless Little Ruse (Harmless, #2):
3 stars
This one just moved a lot slower than I thought it would. I still want to read the next one to find out some answers.
A Harmless Little Plan (Harmless, #3):
3 stars:
This was just an ok conclusion to the series. I think the main thing was that the main couple wasn’t my fave. I do look forward to reading more Meli Raine books.
Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did a good job narrating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I loved this series it was wonderful and so great to read.
I love this author’s books. This book didn’t disappoint me either.
Had to go back and buy previous bools to catch up
Slow start – I didn’t finish.
Fantastic series!
Book 1 – Do you know how it feels to begin to read a story and just realize, even before turning the first page, that this is going to be really good? If you don’t, get this book and you will. And if you do, get this book and you’re going to get that feeling once again. Addicting, right?
Lindsay, the daughter of a Senator with Presidential aspirations and his calculating wife, and Drew, her former boyfriend who is now a well-honored and well-trained war hero, are brought together again after a four year separation initiated by one horrific night. But instead of simply having to learn to deal with the mental and emotional wreckage that night caused, which would have been enough by itself, they soon learn that there’s way more to come. And neither of them are sure about who set this entire scenario in motion, and why, or who can be trusted.
Meli Raine appears to be surpassing her prior books with this one. Having only finished the first part of this serial, I won’t make this a definitive conclusion. But if the rest of this holds up, and I’m betting it will, we’re all in for a thrilling and suspenseful ride. The only downside is the withdrawal while awaiting the next book’s release. That’s addiction for you.
Book 2 – Once you read my review of Book 3, you might understand why I didn’t wait to write a review before going right to Book 3. Guess I just forgot to come back and leave one thereafter and now it’s too long since reading it to write a review. Suffice it to say I know I loved it and would have given it 5 stars.
Book 3 – Meli Raine, you totally caught me with this trilogy… hook, line and sinker!
In this final book of the Harmless trilogy, A Harmless Little Plan, there are only two things we know for sure; although Lindsay and Drew don’t even have as much information as we do. (And, if you don’t know who Lindsay and Drew are, you haven’t read the first two books of the trilogy and you shouldn’t be reading this review until you’ve read them. But if you’ve read them, you probably won’t be reading this review as you’ll have already bought this book.) We know the clear heroes, Lindsay and Drew, and the clear villains, the 3 rapists and their evil and highly-connected overlord. Everyone else is up in the air. As it turns out, with good reason. And, thanks to Meli, we not only learn what occurs, we’re offered insight into Drew and Lindsay’s observations, thoughts and the rationales behind their decisions from the first book on.
Nothing about this story is harmless. It’s terrifying and it’s addicting, and you shouldn’t miss one moment of it.
I received an ARC for my honest review. But as soon as I began reading this book, I realized I had somehow missed Book 2. Went right to Amazon to buy it, so I could catch up before reading this book. It really is that good.
Definitely a page turner.
WOW!!! What an awesome read! When I purchased this set I thought it was three standalone stories. When I got to the end of the first book I found it continued into the next. That’s when I realized that I was not going to get anything done work wise until I finished the entire set. I rated this 5 stars but if I could I would give it 10!!!
The Harmless Series Boxed Set
By Meli Raine
Main Characters: Lindsey and Drew
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
5 out of 5 stars
OMG, you need to read this series if you like romantic suspense!! This set includes A Harmless Little Game, A Harmless Little Ruse, and A Harmless Little Plan. It is a psychological suspense with some political aspects in it with plenty of romance and hot steamy sex. This is a real page-turner. You just have no idea who is the bad guy here and why are they tormenting Lindsey and Drew. I couldn’t put the book down and it is about 600 and some pages long. Lindsey is presidential candidate Harry Bosworth’s daughter and Drew is her boyfriend. There is a 4-year time span in this series. This book also involves a brutal sexual assault. It is well written and a can’t put downable book. I loved the ending.
