In the Company of Snipers, Book 4
By: Irish Winters
Narrated by: Troy Duran
In the Company of Snipers is turning into one of my favorite romantic suspense series. Irish Winters knows how to write a fantastic story, having us invest our hearts and minds into these characters. We know Harley from the first book in the series when he finds Kelsey. Now both Harley and Kelsey are missing and no one knows where to even begin looking. Winters writes this one with so much suspense, and so much compassion I found myself totally lost in the story. Kelsey’s path took her down a road that had me almost in tears. She is so strong, and I love her ferocity, loyalty and ability to love. Harley takes a road that is so difficult, and so visual its impossible not to feel his emotions. With all of our favorites intertwined, bringing in Alex, Mark and Zack, adding in Judy and Roy, I can’t wait to see where this series takes me next. It’s original and hits all the buttons I love in a book.
The narration by Troy Duran enhances this series. He has a smooth sound that is easy to listen to, but when it comes to the suspense and alpha males, lays it all out there and lets us see the story. His voice has it all, and his ability to go from adult to kid, male to female is seamless. I always look forward to his performances.

I have been really looking forward to this book as Harley has been one of my favorite characters from the series. It was worth the wait! This is such an emotional story; have tissues on hand for this one. My heart went out to Judy and found her love and patience admirable, though at times I thought she was a bit harsh with Harley. Harley is reliving a traumatic time in his life and is having a difficult time knowing what is real or not. Kelsey also goes missing in this book and this part of the story is also heart wrenching. Well worth reading this one!
This is the fourth book in the amazing Series In The Company of Snipers, a Romantic Suspense. In this story, Harley and Kelsey, Alex’s wife, disappear. The storyline is fast-paced, emotional, intense, and suspenseful. Troy Duran did a great job with the narration, as always. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series.
This has everything. It is touching. Exciting. Dangerous. Steamy. Has team/family loyalty. The author takes the lives of military people and shows us the life they have to adjust to after returning from protecting our freedom.
Harley has a traumatic brain injury TBI. He has memory loss and other issues. When an accident pushes him into the past his team is searching for him along with Judy the woman who loves him. Yet, she wasn’t his past. Does she exist in his new present?
Meanwhile, the wife of the company owner’s wife is kidnapped. So much happening. So many people who care–oh yeah, the team has been hired by the FBI to find a serial killer in DC–with their hands tied.
The narrator is spectacular. There is nothing about this but the highest praise for story and audio.
My strongest recommendation.
