It is recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before starting this series, or you will be spoiled and lost! The heart wants what it wants….Harley WalkerGuilt.I face it every single day when I look at my twin sister. Everyone thinks I’m thriving, but no one knows the feelings I face when I’m alone.Well, that’s not exactly true. One person does. But if we’re ever caught, we’re screwed.… person does.
But if we’re ever caught, we’re screwed.
Things changed when I was ten.
On my sixteenth birthday though? Things exploded, especially my heart.

This is the 4th book in these shorts and is Harley and Bishop’s story. This is an emotional roller coaster, as Harley learns to adapt and accept her fears. This is a well written story which leaves me craving more.
We finally get Harley’s POV post Fury. She’s dealt with the aftermath in her own way and now in HS, is exploring a way to save her friend, Bishop. This is a great addition to the Heaven Hill Next Gen series, and I would love to see this story continued into a longer version. Loved this tease! Please Laramie give us more!
I may be a short book, but it packs the emotional punch of a speeding freight train. I should have realized after reading her sister’s book, but I still wasn’t expecting to be bawling my eyes out by the end of this one. Harley and Bishop have already travelled some really rough roads and the one ahead of this is still bumpy. I’m dying to learn the rest of their story now.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
I’m loving all these shorts from Laramie Briscoe. The snippets that she gave us just make us clamoring for more and I for one cannot wait till we get the full length novels. This short story focuses on Harley, the twin to Justice and what she went through emotionally after the events of Fury. We also are teased with Bishop, Harley’s secret boyfriend and his back story which is pretty sad. Will their relationship prevail? I want to know! Please do note that you must read Fury first before reading any of these short stories, otherwise you’ll be lost.
I’m loving these short novellas.
They are making me so excited for the characters full stories.
Very excited!
Harley and Bishop should be an interesting story. I’m curious what path he will take. I’m already guessing Harley’s path.
Harley was well written, has amazing characters and gives us a peak into the future. Harley is tough, protective and stands up for the people close to her. I absolutely love Heaven Hill Shorts and look forward to the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Harley is a complex character. It is heartwarming to watch her grow an become her own individual. The protectiveness she feels for Bishop is deeply rooted to what happened with Justice but she is a strong woman with a definitive compass and passion. Loved it.
Harley is sharing a secret and it’s a pretty big one. Her story is the latest novella in the Heaven Hill Shorts (Book 4 ). Laramie Briscoe has done a wonderful job giving us insight into the lives of the Heaven Hill MC after the fallout. (It is highly recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before this series).
This glimpse into Harley’s life comes at a pivotal point and we are left with more questions than answers. I can’t help but wonder how much the events of the past has shaped her future. I’m excited to see how it all plays out.
Harley is book 4 in the Heaven Hills Shorts series. Another short but amazing story written by the talented Laramie Briscoe. It is recommended that you read “Heaven Hill Generations” before starting this series. This is Harley Walker and Bishop Erikson story, a very emotional and deep short introduction as to what will happen with her and Bishop. I can’t wait for more!
These shorts, giving us a glimpse of what’s happened to the sub characters in the Heaven Hill series, are amazing. But sadly they are hard to review without giving the short story away. But I’ll start by saying Kudos to Ms. Brisco for writing these touching, heartfelt shorts that most definitely touch the heart.
I just love Harley. She is the tough, outgoing sassy twin. Ever since her sister’s kidnapping when they were 10, Harley has also become the protective sister who is still riddled with guilt from that awful day her sister was taken. Harley now has a very protective side for those she loves. Bishop is the star QB at their school. On the outside he’s everything the popular, star football player should be. But on the inside, not so much. Only Harley knows his secrets. Their story is heartbreaking and explosive yet tender and loving. I highly recommend these shorts to anyone who has read the Heaven Hill MC series. They are all simply outstanding additions to the series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
Tough on the outside, sweetheart in the inside. Harley is one of a kind and I feel a strong connection with her. Bishop is her one and I hope they get a HEA. I am loving these short stories.
I have to say that when the twins when they get their full books, their stories are going to be epic! Harley has learned to adapt, to accept her fears and compensate. What started as friends with benefits with Bishop Erikson turned into something more. Seen only as the star quarterback to everyone else, Bishop only lets Harley really see him. Can Bishop let Harley really be there for him, especially when it really counts? Can Harley take a chance that Bishop feels the same way she does? Wow! I was so emotionally invested by the end of the first page, I knew that the end was going to come way too soon. While it did, it was so satisfying that I can happily wait for the full story with a smile on my face! Laramie Briscoe is one of the best writers around, Harley rocked!
As with all of the Heaven Hill shorts, we get to catch up with one character several years after the events of Fury. This time we get to see what is going on in Harley’s life. After reading this, I’m eagerly awaiting Harley’s full-length story.
All of the shorts are amazing and quick reads that give the reader just a small glimpse into the future of the Heaven Hill MC family.
These short have been one amazing story after the other. It’s Harley’s turn and I love her. I see big things for her and I’m excited. If you haven’t read Fury yet, then what are you waiting for?
