I love the story of Blake & Erica!!! I feel in love right away, and actually read this book in one sitting. I can hardly wait until the next story of their lives is available.
This is my first review. I really liked book one and two. I am reading the third book. I wish you could buy the 5 book series as 1 book. I hate having to get each book separately.
Loved the whole series
This is a reread for me on this book. I read them years ago before I knew the importance of reviews. So when I picked them up again I wanted to do my part for this amazing author. I don’t remember how I stumbled on to Meredith Wild’s Hacker series originally but I was hooked and have since devoured all her work. Erica is a recent graduate with an internet startup. She has been funding it while they finished school but knows that if they don’t get funding Alli and Sid are going to have to have jobs. Blake is one of the Angel investors that Erica pitches to for funding. They have instant chemistry but she also feels like he is totally uninterested in her business when he passes. The story takes us through the struggles that they encounter trying to figure out if they can be a couple. Erica is struggling with a fledgling business and Blake has personal issues with the investor who agreed to help.
Love that we have the hot romance but also there is the mystery of who is Erica’s father, and why M89 is targeting Erica. I love the author’s writing style. She does an amazing job of creating characters that you can fall in love with and feel invested in their lives. She weaves some pretty dark things into their pasts as well as present and yet helps them find the light. This is a really good read and I highly recommend it.
Reading the Hacker Series, I couldn’t put the books down. Meredith Wild had you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what would happen next.
This book was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I went to 15 different stores in a 75mile radius hunting for them. It was so worth it!
The first book of this series and it is oh so steamy! This book, this series introduced me and made me a fan of the lovely and very talented Meredith Wild! The chemistry between Blake and Erica is electrifying. I could not stop reading and at the end, I was already craving MORE of this power couple. Sexy, billionaire,ex hacker Blake and the tech savvy, strong beauty Erica. Passion, Power and so much more. One of the best series I have ever read! A great re-read series as well. Meredith Wild
Absolutely locked into this series. Couldn’t wait for the next in the series to release.
This was a very good book. I am now going to have to check out the others. Thank you.
I love this whole series!
Amazing! Loved it
Love this book! ! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
Erica and Blake will hook you line and sinker from the every first glance and they do not let go. Erica is leaving the ivy covered walls of Harvard behind her after years of schooling. She is going to take the social media start-up she and some friends created and set the world on fire…. If only she can get some seed money. With that in mind she is seeking out angel investors and finds herself in a meeting with Angelcom. Confidence is key when putting on a pitch and hers is rattled when sexy mogul Blake Landon walks into the boardroom. Peppering her with questions and in generally just being outrageously attractive he throws her off her axis, passes on investing, and then has the gall to ask her out. Blake is one not to be denied though and when he sees something he wants he will move mountains to make it happen. Erica and Blake are in a battle of wills against a force that is quite undeniable.
Amazing story and such wonderful characters. Dying to know how the story continues!!
Going into this book I had no clue what to expect considering all the hype surrounding this book. I found it to be quite enjoyable nonetheless. While I did not absolutely fall in love with the story or the characters, I still found it to be incredibly interesting and fun to read.
I will say I am not that big a fan of Erica, seeing her as seriously naive and only thinks about herself. I think she kept giving herself way too much credit in potentially defending herself against men trying to physically trying to take advantage of her with their sexual advances. I don’t think that she appreciated Blakes level of love and commitment to her, and his drive to protect her at all costs. She considered everything he did to be controlling, which was not always the case. Not to mention she makes some terrible decisions, hence going to a complete strangers house who you don’t really even know.
I really liked Blake, even if he did some crazy things to get Erica where he wanted her. I’ll take his sexy self anyways. I did enjoy his relationship with Erica and his determination to be with her despite all their secrets. They both found ways to express them to one another. I definitely like Blake more than I do Erica. She’s just annoying as she talks her life and everything she’s worked for and blah blah blah.
I did enjoy the story and I see the drama is about to get turned way up. I think this story can only get better even though it ended abruptly and left a lot of things wide open and unresolved.
Had heard lots of great things about this series, and this book started strong. Blake and Erica are interesting characters and the plot, while split into several subplots, moved along at a good pace. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I love the Hacker series, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won’t want to put it down or the other four books to follow.
