Janet Evanovich’s #1 New York Times bestselling sensation Stephanie Plum returns in her twenty-fourth thriller as mutilated corpses litter the streets of New Jersey… Trouble comes in bunches for Stephanie Plum. First, professional grave robber and semi-professional loon, Simon Diggery, won’t let her take him in until she agrees to care for his boa constrictor, Ethel. Stephanie’s main … Stephanie’s main qualification for babysitting an extremely large snake is that she owns a stun gun—whether that’s for use on the wandering serpent or the petrified neighbors remains to be seen.
Events take a dark turn when headless bodies start appearing across town. At first, it’s just corpses from a funeral home and the morgue that have had the heads removed. But when a homeless man is murdered and dumped behind a church Stephanie knows that she’s the only one with a prayer of catching this killer.
If all that’s not enough, Diesel’s back in town. The 6-foot-tall, blonde-haired hunk is a man who accepts no limits—that includes locked doors, closed windows and underwear. Trenton’s hottest cop, Joe Morelli isn’t pleased at this unexpected arrival nor is Ranger, the high-powered security consultant who has his own plans for Stephanie.
As usual Jersey’s favorite bounty hunter is stuck in the middle with more questions than answers. What’s the deal with Grandma Mazur’s latest online paramour? Who is behind the startling epidemic of mutilated corpses? And is the enigmatic Diesel’s sudden appearance a coincidence or the cause of recent deadly events?

Relaxing to read, giving occasional chuckles.
Not one of my favorite Evonivich books. Love them as a palate cleanser after reading so much more serious stuff. The zombie thing was a bit too much.
A fun read, but the plots are getting pretty predictable, I keep coming back for me regardless.
I have read every book in the series. Love Stephanie. Love Lula. Love Grandma Mazur. I read, I laugh, and I love it.
I love everything Janet Evanovich writes and she did not disappoint with Hardcore 24. She keeps the characters real and hilarious plus peppers in a good does of mystery and intrigue. I can’t wait for the next one to come out and take me away once again! Love it!
I loved it. Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite authors.
Love the Stephanie Plum books! Grandma Mazur is such a hoot! I don’t know how the author manages to make each character entertaining after so many books, but it works!
I have read every book in this series and am always waiting for the next one. I thought 24 was better than 23. It’s funny and full of action. I love all characters in these books. Well written and always funny.
I love the whole series and pretty much everything else Janet Evanovich has written! Love the characters, the story line and the humor. If she writes it, I will read it!
Just a highly entertaining book. This author always delivers.
Laugh out loud funny
Everything she writes is amazing..I often get it on Audio and laugh in the car by myself..when I feel out of sorts, I’ll re read one!
Stephanie Plum and her partner in bounty hunting, Lulu, continue to delight with their over the top situations. Stephanie can destroy more cars than a demolition derby driver. Stephanie copes in her own way with zombies, boa care, and not two, but three, hot guys. What will she do?
Don’t miss this fast, funny read.
I love Stephanie Plumb and have read the whole series so far. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I have read all the Stephanie Plum books since One for the Money. I find them a fun read.

VERY GOOD STAYS WITH THE STORY.
I always enjoy Janet’s number books. Stephanie is forever finding trouble and grandma is too funny.
Escapist entertainment at its best. The level of action and humor I’ve come to expect from Janet Evanovich.
