A and Bestseller!
Ever since hard-bodied, drop-dead-charming Shane McCallan strolled into the dance club where Crystal Dean works, he’s shown a knack for getting beneath her defenses. For her little sister’s sake, Crystal can’t get too close. Until her job and Shane’s mission intersect, and he reveals talents that go deeper than she could have guessed.
Shane would never turn his back on a … deeper than she could have guessed.
Shane would never turn his back on a friend in need, especially a former Special Forces teammate running a dangerous, off-the-books operation. Nor can he walk away from Crystal. The gorgeous waitress is hiding secrets she doesn’t want him to uncover. Too bad. He’s exactly the man she needs to protect her sister, her life, and her heart. All he has to do is convince her that when something feels this good, you hold on as hard as you can — and never let go.

4 stars – It was really good
Ever since Shane McCallan left the dance club where Crystal Dean works, he can’t get her out of his mind. He is determined to help her and bring the club down if he can.
This book picks up right where the previous book, Hard As It Gets, ended. Shane is determined to help Crystal and hopefully gain more information …
Good Suspense But Beware Triggering Situations
This book was more disturbing than the first book in this series. There was still graphic sex and a lot of cussing a blue streak, but there were also triggering situations like human trafficking and involuntary servitude. Shane and Crystal had a definite spark, and all of the characters were …
Book 2 in the Hard Ink Series, Hard As You Can is a fast, fun, steamy romantic suspense! Definitely a page-turning ride, Shane & Crystal’s tale is full of Sweetness.
When we briefly met Crystal in the first book, Hard as It Gets, I knew we hadn’t seen the last of her. This book, the story of Crystal aka Sara and Shane was all I’d thought it would be and then some. The author threw in details to make this more than the story of a good woman stuck in a bad job to protect family. It’s even deeper than that. …
This book was my introduction to Laura Kaye. The story is so good. It’s sexy and action-packed. I couldn’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Loved this book and the entire series. Great chatacters with great chemistry and storyline. Read them in order.
I just love this group of Ex-Military men.
My first thoughts after I finished this book were, WOW… WOW…. WOW and I think Laura has done it again with Hard As You Can.
I absolutely loved Shane and Crystal (Sara) kind of grew on me by the end.
Shane would have done anything to save her and Jenna (her sister) from the hell that they were living …
I loved that this picked up the day after the first book left off. The story was compelling and suspenseful, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
I would of gave the book 5 stars, but the relationship between Shane and Chrystal/Sara progressed a little slower than I would of liked.
Great story. Shane and Sarah’s lives are intertwined with so much. Author really builds for the whole storyline
