Wait! It’s done already? I need more! The story continues and there are new problems and obstacles. We get more involved in the story and there are more hints as to what could happen. Of course we’re probably all wrong about what’s next and what everything means but the story will grab you and you won’t be able to stop until the end and then you’ll be ready for more. Start from book 1 as each story builds on the next. Edge of your seat. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
Book 3 and even better as the series goes on. Suede is going to uncover some truths within this book that are unexpected. Her and Nate will grow closer as her and Riley grow apart. Another cache is discovered with another body and the boys of the town are up to no good. Adventure, suspense and action is all wrapped up within these pages. Can’t wait for the next book. I’m on pins and needles.
Loved this! It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The writing is amazing.
This suspense thriller has secrets, unexpected discoveries, trauma and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time trying to figure out what Suede and Nate would discover next. This was well written, has a wonderful storyline and fantastic characters.
An increasingly heavy atmosphere
Attention, book spoiler 2
Very good, very well written with an excellent description of the increasingly heavy atmosphere in the small town. I’m a little upset by the evolution of the character Riley trying to get out of his bad boy side, but that his brother and the sheriff tries to manipulate to integrate their rotten group in an orgy that he does not want to participate in, but to which he is compelled to surrender. Sweden is always split between wanting Riley and leaving a door open for a relation with Nate, the FBI agent.
Suede is doing an internship with FBI agent Nate Hawthorne. They are looking into the deaths of residents of Summer Grove. There are the murders, missing persons, a man imprisoned for the killing of his wife, a men’s league that is a secret event. Suede’s mother supposedly drove her car into water and drowned, but her body was not found in the car. This is the third installment in the series. They get better with each one. I read this one in one sitting because I could not put it down.
Finding things aren’t what you thought
This book has some of my theories not being true but leaves so may more that has you thinking about where their leading! Suede a criminology student and Nate a FBI agent trying to deal with what happened but Suede tries looking on her own with shocking things coming to light. This will leave her wondering who to trust and all that she thought she knew! I can wait for the nest book to see where it will lead! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This installment blew all my theories right out the window! It’s kind of frustrating but in the best possible way!
The writing was great and engaging as always and I was sucked right in. So many new twist and turns had me turning page after page until the end. There are still so many secrets that need to be revealed and I can’t wait for the next book!
I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I adore this series, but this book took me a little while to get into. There’s a lot of scene-setting with this story, and because we don’t immediately see the results of what we learn, it felt like a bit more than necessary. I know it’s all going to be vital as we get deeper into the mystery, but right now I can’t see the pattern. And that bugs me because I have dozens of pet theories and I have no idea which (if any) will prove out to be correct. The sudden and abrupt cliff-hanger ending leaves me rabid to find out what happens next.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Leaving the reader hanging for more
Suede, a criminology student, and Nate, an FBI special agent, are picking up where things left off in Unearth the Evidence. As the story progresses new clues surface, a new suspect list is created, and a surprise find may close some doors but blow others wide open. WL Knightly’s Harboring the Truth keeps the reader on their toes until the very end leaving the reader hanging for more.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This is my favourite series by WL Knightly, it’s well plotted, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I’m loving the thrill of the suspense.
Harbouring the Truth marks the middle of the series, there are so many hidden secrets. The town hierarchy control everything and everyone, with corruption running through their veins. As one would expect from the mayor, the sheriff, councillors they hold the respect of the town folk. However there are rumours, no one talks about them, they’ve been buried with the bodies. Suede finds some old papers and notes which become personal and turn her investigation into a tailspin. Riley continues pushing her away, while Nate seeks for more of her attention. Be warned this book ends with one hell of a cliffhanger, yes I know that’s expected…but I need answers and book #4 today.
