For America’s hottest starlet, faking an off-screen romance with her co-star should be simple. Thanks to her hot bodyguard, it’s anything but… My newest role was simple: convince the world I’m in love with my co-star, Ryan McDonnell. But faking it isn’t so easy when my rugged new bodyguard moves in. Jace Morgan is nothing like a movie star. He’s a rough around the edges Marine from the wrong … like a movie star. He’s a rough around the edges Marine from the wrong side of the tracks, and one hundred percent, exactly my type.
Jace is here to protect me, not love me. But he’s always here, when I need him, and when I’m trying very hard not to need anyone. And his troubled gaze combined with muscles literally everywhere? It’s a lot to resist. And as our relationship begins to morph into something much more than client/bodyguard, I’m having trouble keeping up the act. And even more trouble keeping my hands off him.
But the two of us together? Could cost us both our jobs.
And when my bodyguard and my fake boyfriend come along to Maryland for a family event? Lines get crossed, and I’m not talking about the Mason-Dixon.

Happily Ever Hers is the sweet and steamy completion to the Movie Stars in Maryland Duet.
I hadn’t anticipated how fun it would be to see the other side of the story that was told in Happily Ever His. There aren’t a lot of “retold” scenes, but getting Juliet & Jace’s perspective on a few scenes out of HIS was interesting and satisfying.
I always love the way Delancey develops her characters throughout her books, and this was no exception. Jace and Juliet come a long way in seeing things from each others’ perspective and adjusting accordingly.
These two have PLENTY of chemistry. And keeping it a secret adds to it. LOVE them together.
If you love slightly broken characters trying to find their way (together), men who take care of what’s theirs, funny pets, silly Gran antics, and rom-coms that are just a little bit deeper than the usual, you will LOVE Happily Ever Hers.

Delancey Stewart does just THAT in Her WORK. I was granted, via B00|{$P®0UT, Delancey Stewart’s “Happily Ever Hers: A fake relationship/movie star/ex-military hero romantic comedy! (Movie Stars in Maryland Book 2).” I recommend this book to others based upon its own Merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
I absolutely loved this book! The real feelings that the characters go through make this story so amazing. You connect with them. You soar with them and crash with them. Even movie stars have real life problems. And who doesnt love a retired military man? Throw in a narcoleptic pug, a house chicken and blend for one of the best stories I have read this summer!!

This is the second book in the Stars in Maryland series. It was a delightful and fun read. I enjoyed the characters Juliet and Jace. This story has a little bit of everything in it. It was well written and a Goid storyline. I look forward to more stories from this author.

Another great book by one of my favorite authors. I loved Juliet and Jace’s story. It grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. It was a delight to read Juliet’s story after having read Tess’s story.
I loved Happily Ever Hers! This is such a fun romance story. I love the characters. They are lovable and relatable. I love Gran, Chessy, the love struck house-chicken and Elvis, the narcoleptic pug. This is a wonderful sweet and sexy romance that with have you laughing. The ending was perfect. I highly recommend this book.
Goodness y’all! A narcoleptic pug AND a love sick house chicken! I don’t really think you need to know much else to realize it’s going to be a great book!
But there is America’s sweetheart movie star with a marine bodyguard forbidden romance along with a splash of a fake relationship thrown in. And let’s not forget about our favorite gaming addicted grandma, which all makes for a fun read.
It was wonderful to see Juliet’s and Jace’s side of it all. They are sweet and sexy and just perfect for each other.

This book was billed as book one of a duet, which is not entirely accurate. This story can stand alone. Book 1 follows another couple in a concurrent timeline and their story can also stand alone. That said, the books are better, and the reader will be more appreciative if they read back-to-back. One of the reasons I resisted reading this was because I typically do not like duets and prefer the stories I read to be contained within one book with no cliffhanger. When Lucy Score recommended this as one of the best books of the year, I decided I would give it a shot.
I loved Jace and Juliet’s story. I love that Jace struggles with the idea of compromised manhood if Juliet is the more powerful person in the relationship. I love that they have to address this power inequality, and financial inequality as if affects traditional gender roles in a relationship. I love that Juliet has to learn to make decisions weighing not only her career but her happiness as a person in her life. The role reversal of Juliet helping Jace out is engaging and thought provoking and I loved their story. Their attraction to each other physically is strong but so is the way that they are drawn to know each other on a deeper level.
When you add in Juliet’s pot smoking, gaming, 90-year-old Gran, her sister, a movie star, and a house chicken, there are lots of both funny and sweet moments that grab the reader and make this an entertaining, excellent book. This book has quality writing like the early books in the Mr. Matched series and I really enjoyed it.
OMGoodness!
I. Love. Jace!!
This story is book 2 in the Movie Stars in Maryland series. The majority of it takes place at the same exact time as book one happened. It was so fun and so sexy and so perfect to see what was going on with Juliet, the movie star.
During her sister Tessa’s book (Book #1), I knew there were some things happening, things I wanted to know, needed to know. And to finally get those details and that story is very, very satisfying. Especially since Jace, the delicious bodyguard, is involved.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Watching Jace & Juliet grow closer, their attraction getting stronger and stronger until finally they both snap. They can’t stay away from each other. I had all the feels as they worked through any obstacles. My heart squeezed and fluttered and body parts zinged and tingled and I couldn’t have been more happy with how things turned out.
P.S. Shoutout to Gran. I love her so hard. She’s the wisest, snarkiest, and sweetest 90-year old woman ever.
This book follows Juliet and Jace – Juliet is a movie star and Jace is the bodyguard who is hired to keep her safe. When Juliet catches her husband cheating and kicks him out, she doesn’t feel safe anymore living alone. Jace and Juliet have an undeniable chemistry, and it takes a lot for them to overcome issues of their own, before they can be a happy couple. I found this book to be relatable and realistic, which made the book even more enjoyable.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Juliet getting divorced, her ex-husband causing problems. Her PR is telling everyone that she is dating another movie star her co-star, Ryan her co-star is falling in love with someone else. The book is a bag of mixed emotions.
Thank you for you allowing me to review your book.

Juliet is a famous actress and America loves her. She thinks her life is perfect until she finds her boyfriend cheating on her. Jace is her bodyguard and has been for a year and he helps her when she tries to move on from her ex. However her people don’t think that their relationship will go well with the public so they set her up with a fake one with another actor that’s supposed to help her image. She takes him back to her hometown for her grandmother’s birthday party to make things look real between them. Yet it makes her budding relationship with Jace tense because he has to watch another man be with her. Will Jace wait around until she is ready to go public about them? Can Juliet see that Jace is perfect for her?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was a great read. It took awhile to warm up to Juliet in Happily Ever His but in this book, I got to see her in a different way.
America’s sweetheart and the ex-marine bodyguard who captures her heart, this second installment doesn’t disappoint. We get great characters that appeal to us, a grandma we absolutely love and a narcoleptic pug whose neck to neck with the lovesick chicken.

I’m a big fan of Delancey Stewart. You can always pick up one of her books for a light entertaining read to give you a lift. She threw me a bit of a curveball with this one as her hero Jace was more angst and open and full on with his troubles, which I found quite refreshing . Makes a change for the man not to have a stiff upper lip so to speak.
The only downside to this book was a lot less Gran. She’s a hero for me. I’d love to live to her age, get upto what she does and get away with it.
Another point is please Delancey, give Jack and Chessy the house chicken their own book. He intrigues me
“We laughed and played childish games, and it felt more and more like we were two friends. Or something more…” Jace knew there couldn’t be something “more”. She was Juliet Manchester, super star actress. He was an ex-Marine who was serving as her security detail. He needed the job, so he needed to remember what he should do and what he should not do.
Juliet is tired of the things that come with being in the spotlight. The focus on her disaster of a marriage and every step she takes thereafter. It is exhausting. She can finally be herself with Jace. She doesn’t want to keep things professional. But she understands the reasons she SHOULD.
I loved the telling of Jace and Juliet’s story. It’s wonderful how it runs parallel with Happily Every His events, then the stories mingle together. What a great book duo!
Just as wonderful as the first book.
The manchester sisters and their guys have given me hours of smiles, tears, frustration, laughter and annoyance(the guys). Jace was exactly what I would have hoped for Juliet. He may have had some ego issues, but he truly helped her to realize she was her own self and I loved it!
I would highly recommend this book.
P.s. What happened to Jack and Chessy?
Happy reading!

Happily Ever Hers is a fake romance rom-com. It is the second book in this duet and focuses on Jace and Juliet. This can be read as a stand-alone but it compliments Happily Ever His by looking at the same situation from a different perspective. The characters are great and if you have read the first book you already feel as if you know them. Video game addicted Gran is hilarious but the love-sick house chicken and narcoleptic pig are simply brilliant and not to be missed. I really enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it to all rom-com fans everywhere.

To be honest, when I read Happily Ever His I was not a fan of Juliet. I thought she was a little too self absorbed. Thank goodness Delancey wrote her a book. I was able to see her in a new way and understand her much better. Also we got to meet Jace, the former military turned bodyguard Hero who is juggling college classes, his job and taking car of his mother and brother. I love the way these two just work together, but Juliet’s fake romance with Ryan when they go to Delaware complicates things. Add a 90 year old gamer Gran, a love sick chicken, a narcoleptic pug and two mixed up couple that are in love and you have an Amazing RomCom. I definitely recommend this book and this duet.
When you are so invested in your fictional book boyfriend that even the song you hear reminds you of him. Then I guess the author did something right. I really wanted to make him listen to this new song because then he would understand that he was in the right place with the right person and that was the only thing that matters.
Being poor, proud and used to be the caretaker does nothing for you when you need help. When the one person able to help, is the rich girl you are in love with things gets complicated.
He is the only person that sees her, not the movie star. The fact that sparks fly and she has been crushing on him from the moment they met makes her certain he is the one. But how can you get your happy ending in the middle of an ugly divorce when you are in a fake relationship with someone else?
This book was giving me both high and lows, laughter, confusion, anger and relief before the end. I’m still in love with the granny and the house chicken and I loved that the sisters finally connected.
