For America’s hottest starlet, faking an off-screen romance with her co-star should be simple. Thanks to her hot bodyguard, it’s anything but… My newest role was simple: convince the world I’m in love with my co-star, Ryan McDonnell. But faking it isn’t so easy when my rugged new bodyguard moves in. Jace Morgan is nothing like a movie star. He’s a rough around the edges Marine from the wrong … like a movie star. He’s a rough around the edges Marine from the wrong side of the tracks, and one hundred percent, exactly my type.
Jace is here to protect me, not love me. But he’s always here, when I need him, and when I’m trying very hard not to need anyone. And his troubled gaze combined with muscles literally everywhere? It’s a lot to resist. And as our relationship begins to morph into something much more than client/bodyguard, I’m having trouble keeping up the act. And even more trouble keeping my hands off him.
But the two of us together? Could cost us both our jobs.
And when my bodyguard and my fake boyfriend come along to Maryland for a family event? Lines get crossed, and I’m not talking about the Mason-Dixon.

Great duet in this book, like that not everything is sunshine and rainbows for these characters. There’s more depth to them and they have to actually work through their emotions and learn to accept help in order to get through life. Very sweet couple in how they treat each other. Nice to get the different perspective, but sometimes it seems like the writing is broken, but it just goes to show how men and women think differently.

Being America’s Sweetheart sucks sometimes.
Juliet Manchester has it all- fame, fortune, a cheating husband. Happily Ever Hers is the second book in the Movie Stars in Maryland duet. It’s not necessary to have read book 1, Happily Ever His, first but you will want to read it to get the whole story. Juliet is going through a horrible divorce and in order to distract the press enters into a fake relationship with fellow actor Ryan and takes him back home to her childhood home in Maryland for her grandmother’s birthday. However, Juliet and her bodyguard, Jace, are falling in love and have to keep it a secret.
I really enjoyed this book. Chessy the lovesick house chicken and Elvis the narcoleptic pug are funny. I love animals with personality. Birthday girl Gran with her pot smoking, gamer wisdom is a scene stealer.
If you’ve read other books by Delancey Stewart you will be delighted at the “Easter eggs” she’s included alluding to past stories in her superb Mr. Match series.
* I received an early copy of this book and am giving my honest opinion.*
I loved this book by Delaney Stewart, It’s a fun fast paced steamy romance. The story was fun and kept me hooked form beginning to end with all the drama, emotion, fun humor and romance. Jace and Juliet are awesome together and I loved them. Juliet is kind heart’ed and sweet and Jace is trustworthy and devoted. Together they made an amazing couple, grab your book to see their HEA!!! I love this author and will definitely be following and reading more!!!

Another Delancey Stewart hit! I could really relate to these characters and their everyday struggles and trying the best they can to keep their heads above water. I related to them in their humanity, compassion and huge hearts.
Juliet might have fame and fortune but what she really craves is for someone to see HER. Not ‘America’s Sweetheart’, but the real her, not what her money and status can offer. A true friend that looks past the glitz and glamour her life has become. She finds this in her bodyguard, Jace.
Jace has spent his life earning what he has through hard work and dedication. He’s trying his best to support his Mom and brother and never feel like a ‘charity case’. When he runs out of options, will he put his pride aside and take Juliet’s help? Or will his pride come between him and the woman he loves?
Take this beautiful, heart warming journey with these two as they each struggle individually, but might find their happily ever after if they combine their hearts and love as one.
Pornography
The story is very good. Unfortunately, it was filled with lots of detailed sex. I skipped over at least ¼ of the book to avoid the steamy stuff.
It was enough to ruin the book for me. I quit reading at the halfway mark. If this book were a movie it would be adult only. I am not impressed. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
This book was really delightful and honestly a wonderful surprise. This is book two in this duet and as such we are familiar with the characters. I admit that I was not a fan of Juliet’s when she appeared in book one, Happily Ever His. After all she was always seemed to be steamrolling over and stealing the spotlight from her sister, Tess. Now, with this book we learn there is really so much more to her than we got to see. It turns out she is kind hearted, sweet and kind of sentimental. The storyline was fun and kept me entertained with humor, sweetness, drama, emotion and romance. Jace was a awesome book boyfriend. This hero checked all the boxes, strong, capable, devoted, trustworthy and hot! I just loved these two together because they made an amazing couple. I am choosing to post a sincere and freely given review.
Oh I loved Juliet and Jace’s story so much. We got the hint of it in book 1 but going on the journey with them gah so so good.
It was sweet and funny and had all my favorites like Gran and Chessy returning and the addition of the sleepy and so cute Elvis to the bunch.
Julia has you cheering for her from page one and I just love her. 5 stars or how they say in the movie biz 2 thumbs up lol.
I truly enjoyed reading this book. It has fun and entertaining tidbits like a narcoleptic pug and a house chicken in love. For a forbidden relationship/fake relationship storyline it is well written and believable.
Loved this! If you haven’t read Happily Ever His I would highly recommend you grab it first. Juliet was America’s most loved star. A cheating ex then leads to her being blackmailed by him leads to more attention on her again. Life is not as rosie of screen as it is on screen for Juliet though she can always lean on Jace who becomes more than just her bodyguard. You see glimpses of Jace’s family his mother and brother who he always wishes he could do more for. Elvis the narcolepetic pug maybe has just overtaken Chessy as my favourite animal character! Juliet’s grandma is back! Her one on ones with Jace were so good! Along with Tess and Ryan. What a fantastic end to the series.
