All I want is Hannah. We’ve resonated, but she avoids me. She has made it very clear that she wants no mate, whether he has two arms or four. But when others leave the Icehome beach camp for a getaway to a fruit-filled cave, Hannah wants to go, and she needs a companion.Me.For the first time, we talk…and I realize my female isn’t as good as ignoring me as she thinks. She watches me with hungry … She watches me with hungry eyes. She blushes at my bold words. When I touch her? She no longer runs away.
It is time I show her that a Strong Arm hunter can be the right mate for her, and that four arms can hold her twice as closely as two.

A bit to much story back ground for my taste that made it a longer read than it really should of been.
I listened to the audible version of the story and although I enjoy this series a lot, I did not enjoy this story as much as I thought I would. This book gives us Hannah and J’shel’s story and although I enjoyed J’shel’s character a lot, Hannah’s character was a different story for me. I found her character annoying and childish a lot of the time. J’shel definitely had a lot of patience when it came to her. The story was sweet at times, steamy and although this was not my favorite book in the series, I look forward to more books from this author.
RUBY, YOU ARE KILLING ME!
I went from thinking that taking a break from the book community was the worse thing I ever did to thinking it was the best thing I ever did. You wanna know why? Because I get to binge all the RD books that I’ve missed out on! If you have never read a book by Ruby, what are you waiting on? I’m serious!
The blurb of this book gives you all you need to know about this story. Yes it follows the usual plot of cootie, resonate, avoid, and snog. But these stories are so much more than that! I’ll spare you from my annoying repetitive fangirling. Just know that these books never disappoint.
5 Stars!

I did enjoy this, though I didn’t like Hannah all that well in the beginning. When she left for the cave, she got better & less annoying. This flowed well & held my attention, I didn’t want to put it down until I was done. This definitely wasn’t as predictable as I expected it to be, in spite or because -of Hannah’s idiosyncrasies. The note from the author at the end did give some insight into Hannah & why she wrote her that way. I would definitely recommend this book but would suggest starting at the beginning of the series, as there are a lot of nuances a reader will miss if they start with this book.
I have been looking forward to this book since it came out! I am a sucker for books who’s main character have my name even though it is spelt differently I love it. I loved Hannah and J’shel. Their relationship is slow burning. Hannah just wants to go home. She does not want to except that she is stranded here and resonating to J’shel is the one thing that will make her want stay forever. So she runs away from him every chance she gets. J’shel is so happy to have a mate even if she runs away from him. He is a patient man and he waits for her to be ready even if it hurts him. He has a lot on his plate with taking care of his clan brother and trying to take care of Hannah even if she does not want it. Hannah is definitely a control freak and everyone is pissed at her because of it. She needs to get away for awhile and Brooke and Taushen decide she can come along on their adventure only if she brings someone with her. J’shel is the only one that will go with her. Being together just them and one other couple brings them together is in the best ways. I love watching these two come together. They both have a lot to work through. They make such an amazing couple. Their adventure is crazy and angsty. Watching J’shel become Hannah’s hero is everything. I loved this book so much. It is definitely one of my favorites in this series. I love Hannah and J’shel and you all need to meet them! This story is so incredible!!
Ok, so Hannah was a bit of a pain in the booty. She is fighting resonance to J’Shel, who is way, way to sweet for that nonsense. They have both been through so much, her having been abducted and landing on an ice planet and him having lost his family and home when the volcano erupted. So, yeah I am team J’Shel…just sayin. He is just so sweet and thoughtful…she’s the exact opposite. She does a few things that really annoy and piss me off, but thankfully later in the book, she finally does the grovel that she should. Because in their situation, she should be damn glad she has someone faithful and has her back…even when she was being a rude pain in the booty. They go to the fruit cave with another couple where they end up seeing the biggest sky-claw. This was a very interesting plot twist, and I want to address the elephant in the room…are there more this size and if not..how in the heck did that happen?? Anyway, very good storyline and I’m sure we will probably see more of this menace.
This was a safe read, with some baby batter aka resonance. A sinfully sweet dirty talking virgin alpha and a not my favorite crying all the time female. I ended up liking her fine, because she really changes her thought process drastically….thank goodness for that. We get to see many of our favorite characters and some that are new…but aren’t our favorites…like Bree-shit…like that name a little better for her and her disrespect of others. Oh and before I forget, a shout out to Ruby Dixon for using the term Baby Batter…I flippin loved it.

Some people roll with the punches. Some people are paralyzed by the losses they suffer. Hannah, human woman who resonates to J’shel (four-armed blue warrior of Clan Strong Arm) is in the latter group. Against all reason and hope she clings to the notion that she’ll somehow leave the Ice Planet and return to Earth, to the fabulous life and career that she was kidnapped from. In her determination to control her own life, she becomes a hoarding. bossy control freak who alienates all the IceHome tribe, human, sa-khui, and Clan members. J’shel has his work cut out for him – but his sunny optimism seems ineffective against Hannah’s misery. Persistence, courage, and the demands of resonance are the ingredients for HEA in this installment of the Ice Home series. It’s well-written, even though Hannah isn’t likely to be a reader favorite.
This was a decent episode in the Icehome (spin-off) series. Hannah just wasn’t my favorite character, I guess. I understand that she’s upset and disappointed that she was ripped away from her wonderful Earth life and dumped on an ice planet with a bunch of aliens. And that is of course rather depressing and anxiety inducing. But come on! Everyone else is going thru the same thing. And just because you refuse to acknowledge that your are TRAPPED THERE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, doesn’t mean that it isn’t true. Get over it already!
J’shel is such a sweetheart! Even though his guilt over the hunting accident that cost N’dek his leg is misplaced, he still tries to do everything that he can for his tribemate, and everyone else as well. I was just glad that he was finally able to get Hannah to see the light and accept him. Also, it was nice that he enjoyed her bossiness and she didn’t have to inflict it so much on others after that.
My favorite part was the peek into Devi’s world. I’m excited to read more about her and her discoveries. I am also hopeful that N’dek gets his happily-ever-after soon as well, although I am sure that he will probably fight it tooth-and-nail believing that he isn’t worthy of it.
A great addition to the series that could be called aliens with issues! I have read all of these stories so far, and I love them all. Hannah and J’shel have so many deep personal issues that it’s fun to get into their heads for a while. She’s in denial, he’a riddled with guilt, but their cooties are pulling them together. I loved the growth they both went through, and the hot sexy times were cool too. I was a little skeeved out by the sweaty sex after being in dusty traveling leathers, but they only bathe after days of sweaty sexing in a humid cave room? Yeah, that was kind of gross, but that’s my own personal old showing. Their story was fun to read, emotionally appealing, had some tension and lots of action. I love this author and this series never lets me down!
Book six in the Icehome series a book I was not putting down until I finished it. Hanna has a problem and the only way she knows how to handle it is to count and keep track of everything she is alienating everyone. She has resonated with J’shel of the Strong Arms clan but she does not want to stay and hopes to get back to Earth. Brooke who braids everyone’s hair and her mate Taushen are going to the fruit cave and ask Hanna to go with them but there is a catch she must have a companion and J’shel is the only one that will go. On their way to the fruit cave they find a mutilated animal they continue to the cave and have just settled in when they hear a loud scream. J’shel is the only one who knows what it is Old Grandfather they can not leave the cave. How they get back to the beach tribe, had me turning pages and kept me on the edge of my seat. I Recommend this book for various reasons.
This book was ok. My main issue was Hannah. For about 60% of this book she was really winy. Her reason for refusing J’shel was kinda ridiculous as well, at least in my opinion. Once she pulls herself together though I liked her a lot better, so the last half of the book.
I do want to know more about Old Grandfather and the egg because you know that is going to be a interesting.
I simply love that Ruby Dixon writes her characters with flaws. She embraces the flaws and doesn’t just brush over them in her stories. I find it so amusing that people will complain books aren’t realistic (ok I DO realize that I am writing this on a review of a book about blue aliens) but when characters act like an every day person… when they don’t change their attitude or views in the snap of a finger… they write the characters off. Most people I know wouldn’t just automatically acclimate to being kidnapped by aliens, delivered to a whole host of new aliens, never being able to return home, living on an ice planet, no longer having any of the amenities we are accustomed to… do I need to go on? I so appreciate that Ruby gives us characters that react to these situations uniquely. They each have their own personality and come to terms in their own way.
